The structure of this CNC milling machine is introduced, and the workpiece locating system and the post processing system of the cutter location (CL) data file are analyzed. The new machine has advantages of low costs, simple structure, good rigidity, and high precision. It is easy to be transformed and used to process the workpiece with a complex surface.展开更多

It provides a high-quality illustration of time processes, but it has a weak capability for analysis of thei...Realistic 3D-animation is used in all motion simulation systems of mechanisms and other mechanicals systems. It provides a high-quality illustration of time processes, but it has a weak capability for analysis of their dynamics, for simultaneous display of contact interaction and functioning of mechanisms of different motion types. A spacecraft docking is characterized by a complex contact interaction of docking assemblies with mechanisms and devices of different motion types. Integration and time synchronization of the animation, plots and numerical values greatly facilitates the understanding of dynamics features of these processes. Usage of simple wireframe graphical models allows displaying all contact points. A changing of the set of graphical elements focuses attention on major events of a simulated process. Graphical models developed with consideration of these features and used for spacecraft docking simulation analysis are called dynamic diagrams and described in this paper.展开更多

Natural aggregates, as well as aggregates obtained after the reprocessing of buildings' demolition waste, can be used as coarse and fine aggregates. Characteristics of the hardened concrete depend on the raw materials, used for the preparation of concrete mixture, and their characteristics. The objective of the research is to analyse the sources of demolition waste, to describe the reprocessing technology of concrete waste, to investigate the production of the aggregate from the concrete waste, to analyse the main properties of these aggregates -- particles' density, bulk density, granulometric composition, hollowness and other properties, as well as to compare the obtained results with the requirements applicable to the aggregates based on natural materials.展开更多

The attractive fe...For the future energy system, we propose a new closed nuclear energy cycle system, which consists of an accelerator-driven external neutron source, a ceramic reactor and an extend AIROX reprocessing. The attractive features of this system are as follows. (l) The operating mode of the reactor is a combination of subcritical mode and critical mode. initially, the reactor would be driven by the accelerator external neutron source in subcritical mode. A few years later, the reactor would reach the critical mode, and then would operate for a long time. (2) Nuclear fuels, coolants, and structure materials in the ceramic reactor core are made up of ceramic with excellent thermodynamics properties and neutron performance. Therefore, the ceramic reactor has extremely inherent safety, good breeding performance and high power generation efficiency. (3) Fuel reprocessing uses an extend AIROX reprocessing, which is a simple high-temperature dry process and rarely involved in chemical process. In this reprocessing, only most of fission products are separated. Other isotopes, including uranium isotopes, transuranic nuclides and long-lived fission products, would re-enter the reactor as new fuels. Therefore, this closed nuclear energy system could be known as ADANES, short for Accelerator-Driven Advanced Nuclear Energy System, which can greatly improve the utilization rate of nuclear fuels, enhance the nuclear safety, reduce the nuclear proliferation and become a sustainable and low-carbon energy supply for thousands of years.展开更多
