Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf, and his governmental officials including the minister of Petroleum and Resources attended the ceremony. In his speech, President Musharraf fully affirmed the significance of the WOPP project on promoting the national economy of Pakistan and guaranteeing the national energy security, highly praised the contributions to the successful execution of this project from the Chinese government and the company.
