水电调度方向研究生“工程-教学”二元培养方案研究

我国水电经过20多年的高速发展,已经全面进入调度运行阶段,目前对调度和管理方面人才的需求量很大,要求很高。该文结合我国西南水电富集电网、特大流域梯级调度工程实际,针对现行的水电调度方向研究生偏重理论化培养问题,提出了"工程-教学"二元培养方案,并从课程教学内容方案设计、课外工程实践方案设计及二者协调机制等三方面进行了详细阐述。该方案在教学实际应用上,取得了良好的效果,验证了方案的可行性。

结合工程实际开展虚拟仪器课程实验教学

对虚拟仪器课程的实验教学进行了改革,在实验教学中结合实际工程项目的应用。以"汽车歧管压力传感器自动测量标定系统"工程实际项目为例,在实验教学中通过提出问题、现场参观、仿真实验和问题解析的方法,有效地解决了实验内容只限于初步的验证性实验的问题,大大提高了课程教学的效果。

Nuclear Safety Education for Non-nuclear Engineering Students

The new situations were analyzed for nuclear industry development and security. Besides nuclear wars and terrorism, reactor runaway and un-ruled radioactive source are the main nuclear accidents in peacetime. With the active development of the nuclear industry in China, the existing nuclear education system is becoming deficient or defective. Human factors play an important role in nuclear accident prevention and emergency response in the nuclear engineering system, non-nuclear professional staff are often the subject of personnel in most nuclear projects. In order to ensure the sustainable and efficient accord development of nuclear industry, general nuclear education is necessary for correlative non-nuclear professionals, such as technologies, management, safety, culture and ethic. The nuclear safety education should be included into the national education system.

Micro/Nano-Satellites: Opportunities and Challenges

At an accelerating development pace, Hicro-Nano Satellite technology has become one of the most ac- tive research topics in the current aerospace field. Its applications have been extended from engineering education and technology demonstration into various other fields, such as communication, remote sensing, navigation and scientific experiments just to name a few, In this paper issues raised on Micro/Nano-Satellites in recent news are reviewed and the opportunities and challenges confronting Micro/Nano-Satellites are analyzed. Then the Plicro/nano-Satellites of Na- tional University of Defense Technology, （NUDT） are briefly introduced. Finally, some suggestions on the development of Micro/Nano-Satellites in the future are proposed.

For a Micro-Politics Analysis of Engineering Education

The idea that studies about education for engineers should be complemented with micro-politics analysis which is presented in this article. For such, we present a framework to conceptualizing micropolitics and some elements that show how the micro- and macro-politics are overlapped in any political fact. From this premise, the micro-politics is used to lift some elements of analysis of a particular case of engineering educational process in Brazil, where several dominant behaviors are characterized as violent or repressive behaviors that do not favor the development of technical inventivity, one of fundamental characteristics of the profession. What is argued here is that these behaviors are part of the range of a dominant subjectivity that has as its goal the maintenance of professional subjectivity not to develop in students a critical subjectivity, which must be produced under teaching techniques and pedagogical approaches. To consolidate the micro-politics analysis perspective are cited several statements used in Brazilian engineering education process, which diverts attention from the real reasons for failures in the engineers＂ education. Finally, a report of physics violence inside a Brazilian public institution is cited to illustrate how the coercive institutional power operates in the production of students＇ subjectivity.

The Countermeasures Research of the Problems Existing in Five-year Higher Vocational English Teaching

As the basic course of the five-year higher vocational education, both teachers and students have been spending a great deal of efforts on English, but the effect is still unsuccessful. On the basis of many educators＇ researches in English teaching, the author presents the problems which associate with our real situation and analyzes the reasons of these problems. Then, aiming at the problems, the author takes measures in teaching reforms and researches on teaching reflections.

The Strengths and Weaknesses of Mini-Class Model for Chinese College Students

When it comes to the practical use of English, the traditional college English class, which has big size and uses lecture-style teaching, has increasingly showed its disadvantages. The English Department of Harbin Engineering University has initiated a mini-class model in recent years, which has received positive responses from both teachers and students who have experienced the class. By comparing the lecture-style class with mini-class, this paper will introduce the strengths and weaknesses of mini-class according to the author＇s observation of the class as well as the feedbacks from teachers and students. As is found out, its strengths far outweigh its weaknesses, and therefore the model is highly recommended for college English class in other schools

Application of Experience-based Teaching to College Students＇ Career Planning Course

It is common in China that the employment consciousness of the college students is weak, the professional orientation is not clear and vocational skills are deficient. The gradates lack of cognition about career, and there are many students changing other jobs frequently, which not only influences personal development, but also is a waste for the company and the country, Under the situation, the colleges should strengthen the college students to understand career planning and plan the lifetime rationally. The paper tries to find out the breakthrough point from the teaching ways and methods of career planning course for college students, proposes experience-based-based-based teaching, blends the second-classroom teaching model in it, and combines the qualities of science and engineering students in western universities, for solving the problems of the existing classroom teaching.

An Optimum and Effective Drawing Teaching System in Engineering

In this study, the authors shall illustrate the difficulties, pros and cons of ＂Technical Drawing＂ courses in engineering curriculums. The authors also show the efficiency, effectiveness of students＇ grasping the engineering drawing concepts in depth. The authors have conducted a survey on students and their instructors for teaching the course. Whether the course should be taught with manual handling and then computerized or starting with computer aid and finishing the content of the course, the authors shall also go in detail of syllabus how the drawing rooms and aid tools will be. This part of study shall look into the ergonomics, safety and conditions of classrooms. Responses of 300 students will be shared in this presentation. Statistical analysis will detect the effects of different factors involved in the questionnaire.

The study of the teaching mode and method of plant biology

As the specialized basic course of biological engineering, the plant biology has played a decisive role in determining the professional expertise and theoretical knowledge of students, which has also raised a higher requirement for the teaching method and mode. Based on the actual condition of course teaching of plant biology, this paper has made an analysis on the content and shortcoming of the existing mode and method as well as come up with some feasible advices about how to arouse the learning interest within the student, integrate the teaching with the practice as well as adjust the teaching sequence accordingly.

Examples of the Teaching of the Health Questions of Electric and Magnetic Fields at Tampere University of Technology in Finland

The objective of the article is to present the examples of the teaching of the health questions of electric and magnetic fields at TUT （Tampere university of technology） in Finland. At TUT, the education of the health questions of electric and magnetic fields has been integrated into part of four courses, which also include other environmental issues. TUT also products two times per year situation report bulletins on medical-oriented studies related to electric and magnetic fields so that graduates and people working in transmission line projects can follow new studies of the area. It is important to develop more education of EMF health questions, so people can more easily understand how new devices and technologies work.

Probe into the course teaching reform of ＂communication engineering budget＂

＂Communication project budget＂ is a professional course of the communication engineering specialty. Combined with the requirements of the teaching reform, from three aspects of the theoretical teaching, the experimental teaching, and the engineering practice, the author carries on the reform and practice, to cultivate the active thinking and practical ability of the students, and the effects of the re-form are fully in line with the orientation of cultivating the highly-skillful and applied talents.

On the Construction and Development of Strategies to Stimulate Learners＇ Motivation Concept and Evaluation Model

This paper starts from the theoretical basis of constructivism and development evaluation study that learns the principles of communication, the use of educational psychology and other disciplines of knowledge. It is to build a developmental evaluation and characteristics for the idea to the attention of the relevant confidence to meet and the evaluator＇ s expectations as of the five elements to stimulate learning motivation, build developmental evaluation principles to stimulate learning motivation of process model. Seven strategies are to stimulate and sustain the motivation of college students, while emphasizing mentor in the process of converting role as learner and developmental evaluation. Related strategies are used in the actual teaching of ＂Mechanical Engineering Materials＂ , ＂Graduation Design＂ , ＂Engineer Training＂ course, and it achieved satisfactory teaching effect, playing a role in promoting real learning and comprehensive evaluation of the development of college students.

Neural Networks and the Study of Time Series： An Application in Engineering Education

Time series are an important object of study in sciences, engineering and business, especially in cases where it is expected to know, predict and optimize behaviors. In this context, we intend to show the feasibility of using artificial neural networks in the study of several time series in an engineering course, especially those that have no overt behavior or are not able to be modeled mathematically in a simple way and have direct application in the education of future engineers.

Interactive Teaching in Interpersonal Skills

Engineers are very much part of the ongoing globalization and they are encountering problems of cross-disciplinary nature Team working skills respecting other peoples＇ qualifications are required so therefore interpersonal skills are becoming more and more important, including communications skills, leadership and awareness. Consequently, educational programs for teaching engineers should work with the fact that the capability of communicating with people with different background competences is important, nevertheless the engineering education has traditionally focused on technical skills rather than on personal development. In order to reform the B.Sc. courses to guide students to become better and more efficient engineers on all levels, the DTU （Technical University of Denmark） and Helsinki Metropolia University of Applied Sciences （Metropolia） modified their education according to the CDIO （conceive, design, implement and operate） approach in the autumn of 2008. The CDIO pedagogy encouraged to develop an interactive course in interpersonal skills, where the students have to take an active part in the exercises as well as involve themselves in the interactive communication process. The course consists of various exercises from which the participants will develop their awareness and knowledge of communication. It is the intention to give the students a personal understanding and idea of a different approach to communicating between people. The students evaluated the course, and the four key questions dealing with the quality of the course show a very high satisfaction with the instruction. The grades one and two （1 best/very much, 5 worst/very little） of the responses ＂to these four questions are ranging on average from 69.5% to 88% （on a yearly basis）. The positive responses indicate that the students are very satisfied with the course recognizing the need for education on international communication.

Research on the Applications of Cyclic Water Quality Model and Simulated Annealing Algorithm for Water Pollution Control and Planning

With the progress of computer technology, water pollution control and planning has been a hot topic in the scientific community. This paper discusses corresponding research on the applications of cyclic water quality model and simulated annealing algorithm for water pollution control and planning. Environmental engineering education has been the focus of much attention in recent years. Teaching methods of water pollution control and sustainable teaching innovation and creation was explored by many scholars, and the majority of workers engaged in teaching the course. The simulation result proves the effectiveness of the method. We plan to conduct more research in the future research to obtain better research result.
