Rainwater w...A plastic mixture construction technology using MBER (material becoming earth into rock) soil stabilizer is introduced and the water quality of a solidified soil cistern using the technology is analyzed. Rainwater was harvested in July, 2012. Water quality of runoff and cistern water after storage was measured, including turbidity, chemical oxygen demand (COD), total nitrogen, nitrate, and ammonia. Results show that pollutant concentrations in runoff decreased with time, indicating that runoff in the early time should be removed. Nitrate concentrations in cistern water increased after storage, while the remaining parameters decreased. Measured pollutant concentrations did not exceed the limit according to the standard for drinking water in China. It can be concluded that the solidified soil cistern with plastic mixture construction technology can provide available water for domestic use.展开更多

The MWEDM process consists of only one cutting operation varying with machining...This work deals with an experimental investigation of the machining characteristics of Micro Wire Electrical Discharge Machining (MWEDM). The MWEDM process consists of only one cutting operation varying with machining conditions. Experimental results show that the peak current and pulse duration have an obvious influence on surface roughness and machining time, and they also have an optimum value for the highest cutting speed. The servo reference voltage influences the surface roughness and machining time as well. In particular, the surface characteristics of work-pieces and a micro wire electrode were analyzed in detail too. Utilizing a micro wire electrode with diameter 30μm, MWEDM can machine a micro slot 38μm wide, which proves that the discharge gap can be controlled not more than 4μm. It can also machine micro gears respectively with a module 40μm, thickness 1mm, and a module 100μm, thickness 3.5mm. All kinds of micro shaped holes and complex micro parts can be easily machined as well.展开更多
PetroChina Lanzhou Petrochemical Company conducted commercial tests for application of two types of diesel demulsifiers, the HPL-2 and GX-02 demulsifiers, in order to solve the emulsion problem arising from caustic wa...PetroChina Lanzhou Petrochemical Company conducted commercial tests for application of two types of diesel demulsifiers, the HPL-2 and GX-02 demulsifiers, in order to solve the emulsion problem arising from caustic washing of straight-run diesel fraction obtained from atmospheric and vacuum distillation unit at the Lanzhou refinery. After addition of each demulsifier into the diesel fraction the oil content in caustic residue was apparently decreased, and discharge of waste caustic was reduced, resulting in the elimination of emulsification and a significant increase of economic benefits. When 70 ppm of the HPL-2 demulsifier was added to diesel fraction, the oil content in waste caustic exiting the second-stage caustic wash settling tank was reduced to 2.45% from 7.90 %, whereas this value was reduced to 2.81% from 5.96% with addition of the GX-02 demulsifier.展开更多

Firstly,the error source of multi-station assembly system is analyzed,the relationship of dimension variation propagation in multi-station assembly processes is studied and the state equation for variation propagation is constructed too. Then,the feature parameters which influence variation propagation and accumulation in multi-station assembly processes are found to evaluate quality characteristic of the assembly system. Through the derivation of equation on dimension variation propagation,station coefficient matrices which are combined and conversed to determine the max eigenvalue are educed. The max eigenvalue is multiplied by the weight coefficient to establish the quality evaluation model in multi-station assembly processes. Furthermore,assembly variation indexes are proposed to judge of the assembly technology process.
