Through deduct...The calculation method about infrared multi-sites passive system location is introduced based on the principle of the weighted least square method, and the variance matrix of estimated error is offered. Through deduction, it can be found out that treated appraise precision can be directly analyzed and deduced without carrying out real measure and reaching estimation value. The simulation result shows that the system performance based on the weighted least square method is much better than the traditional passive location method, and it can be also used for reference to the research of the location algorithm of similar system.展开更多

The unknown parameter’s vari- ance-covariance propagation formula, considering the two-power terms, was concluded used to evaluate the accuracy of unknown parameter estimators in the generalized nonlinear least squares problem. Different from traditional pilot-aided estimation, semiblind estimatio...In this paper, a quasi-Newton method fbr semi-blind estimation is derived for channel estimation in uplink cloud radio access networks (C-RANs). Different from traditional pilot-aided estimation, semiblind estimation utilizes the unknown data symbols in addition to the known pilot symbols to estimate the channel. An initial channel state information (CSI) obtained by least-squared (LS) estimation is needed in semi-blind estimation. BFGS (Brayben, Fletcher, Goldfarb and Shanno) algorithm, which employs data as well as pilot symbols, estimates the CSI though solving the problem provided by maximum-likelihood (ML) principle. In addition, mean-square-error (MSE) used to evaluate the estimation performance can be further minimized with an optimal pilot design. Simulation results show that the semi-blind estimation achieves a significant improvement in terms of MSE performance over the conventional LS estimation by utilizing data symbols instead of increasing the number of pilot symbols, which demonstrates the estimation accuracy and spectral efficiency are both improved by semiblind estimation for C-RANs.展开更多

To describe the hydrogen generating rate with methanol steam reforming in fluidized bed reactor ...Hydrogen is one of the best energy carriers.Fluidized bed reactor provides a promising approach for hydrogen production. To describe the hydrogen generating rate with methanol steam reforming in fluidized bed reactor quantitatively, dual-rate kinetic models of the reactions with exponent form were developed, including that of steam reforming reaction(SR) and decomposition reaction(DE).The reaction rate per unit mass of catalyst was related to partial pressures of components. The exponentials in kinetic equations were obtained by linear least-squares method based on the experimental data. The variance homogeneity test(F test) shows that the dynamic models are feasible with high accuracy, which can be used to predict the generating rate of hydrogen under different reaction temperatures and feed flow rates in fluidized bed reactor. The SR and DE activation energy obtained indicates that ESR\ EDE, which can explain the previous observation that the CO_2 selectivity decreased with the temperature increase.展开更多
