Unquestionably,aircraft industry plays an important part in both economy and security of a nation.However,few of articles have dealt with the spatial development of this industry sector.The purpose of this article is to analyze the dynamics of agglomeration and diffusion of aircraft industry.In a historical view,with some spatial analysis methods,this research discusses the characteristics and patterns of aircraft industry's spatial organization and evolution,globally,nationally and regionally respectively.We find out there is a ‘Matthew effect' in aircraft industry of the world,and the spatial evolution of the industry is consistent with the nation's industrialization process.Then,it concludes that the main agglomeration forces consist of capital,talents,technology and cluster's advantages,and the main diffusion forces include comparative advantages,cost and risk sharing,emerging markets,development policy for backward regions and military requirements.All the factors can be divided into market forces making the spatial development of aircraft industry normal and non-market forces making that irregular.In particular,lessons from the USA and France are expected to be conducive to the rise of China's aircraft industry in the future. 展开更多

And the impact factors on the credit classification of the practicing qualification personnel,such as the number of neurons,the training steps,the dimension of neurons and the field of winning neurons are studied. Then a self-organizing competitive neural network is built. At last,a case study is conducted by taking practicing qualification personnel as an example. The research result reveals that the method can efficiently evaluate the credit of the practicing qualification personnel;thus,it could provide scientific advice to the construction enterprise to prevent relevant discreditable behaviors of some practicing qualification personnel. 展开更多

The process of the economic globalization that has increasingly made markets for goods and services, capital markets, and interdependent consumption patterns, is strongly linked to the current issue of the relationship between marketing and territory. Marketing is usually described as a set of tools used by businesses to promote the exchange of goods and services produced in order to fully meet the demand of the community of the territory in which they operate. Therefore, to apply marketing to the territory, one needs to identify a set of rules for programming, evaluation, and promotion, in order to attract producers and consumers to an area, in which there are both tangible and intangible factors. The ability to create a development process is not only related to the possession of these factors, but also and above all to the ability to make them cohesive so that the area as a whole has more value than its individual components. In this paper, the authors show that it is not so much the actions carried out by local political institutions, but those of IKEA~ itself have contributed to the improvement of the area around Bari, where it has chosen to open a store. 展开更多

Market orientation for the hotel segment: The Portuguese case

In view of the importance of the hotel segment for the tourism and for the economy of countries such as Portugal, the objective of this study was to measure the level of orientation for the market of the largest hotel groups of Portugal. This investigation initially emphasized the importance of the marketing for the organizations, mainly the orientation for the market. After a brief explanation on the hotel segment in Portugal, an empirical study was presented, of quantitative, exploratory and traversal character, performed with the largest groups of 20 hotels of Portugal, using as an instrument of collection data, the traditional Markor scale (market orientation) adapted to the hotel sector. After analyzing the data, it was found in the investigated organizations that a good capacity to generate market information and response to the market, which formed two of the three constructs of Markor scale. However the results obtained with the construct of the dissemination of market information were below the expectations. It was possible to conclude that marketing professionals of the large hotel groups in Portugal are well oriented to the market, something not shared by other investigated departments of the hotels. So the current challenge for the main networks of hotels in Portugal is to improve the internal dissemination of information that marketing professionals gathered at the market. 展开更多

On the basis of data from the 2008 Chinese General Social Survey, this paper analyzes the changing organizational job mobility patterns of members of society in a segmented labor market. The structure of labor market segmentation is based on differences in the power of different labor sectors to distribute social resources, leading to further differences in their power of "attraction" or "repulsion" that influence people's organizational mobility. These forces are strongest in the primary labor market, lessening the possibility that workers will leave their jobs and raising the possibility of cross-sector mobility. In the course of China's market transition, changes in the power to allocate social resources have entailed changes in the structure of labor market segmentation, changes that have been reflected in organizational mobility. Our examination of changing modes of organizational mobility reveals that the structure of urban labor market segmentation has changed from being mainly systemic at the outset of reform and opening up to the current coexistence of systemic segmentation and market segmentation. 展开更多

Meanwhile, Chinese investment banks are facing with problems such as elementary business structure, small capitalization and faultiness of governance, which lead to their less competitive power. This article conducts research from the perspective of path optimization of business structure of investment banks. Through economic analysis of path optimization of business structure, we conclude path optimization of business structure of domestic investment banks will lay a solid foundation for enhancing their competitive power. Whereafter this article constructs optimized path for business structure of Chinese investment banks and analyzes the influence factors of the optimized path.
