A distribution curve of fuzzy words in management research articles is drawn in accordance with the structures of the articles, and it is proved to be reasonable for tile discourse function of each section. Furthermore, the fuzzy words are divided into three categories and eleven sub-categories, including Category Ⅰ-fuzzy words, Category Ⅱ-fuzzy words+non-fuzzy part / non-fuzzy part+fuzzy words, Category Ⅲ-approximators+fuzzy words. Distribution of fuzzy words varies in different sections of research articles in management science, because of different communicative purposes or discourse functions. Introduction section and Conclusion section have a higher occurrence rate of fuzzy words than Abstract section and Methodology and Data section.展开更多

Research was conducted in the Atattirk Central Horticultural Research Institute (ACHRI, Yalova, Turkey) greenhouse during 2013-2014. Biopesticides observed in this study were: sesame oil (Devalone EC), castor oil (Ricinus communis), Myrothecium verrucaria (M. verrucaria strain AARC-0255, Inferno DF), Glomus spp. (Endomycorrhizal fungi, Endo Roots Soluble SP) and Paecilomyces lilacinus (Entomopathogenic fungi, P. lilacinus strain PL1, Bionematon SL). Nematicide Nemacur EC 400 (fenamiphos) was used as treated control (TC) and trials were set up as randomized parcel design (RPD) with seven characters and 10 replicates. Reproduction ratio was determined according to scale values in trial applications and second stage juvenile (J2) populations of M. incognita in soil. The results showed that the best nematicidal effects against RKNs were determined in castor oil (77.92% in 2013 and 73.61% in 2014) and P. lilacinus (61.03% in 2013 and 55.55% in 2014).展开更多

With this proposal a discrete situation is replaced by a fuzzy one. There are identified certain advantages concerning the use of the bar as compared to that of a scale during both the stages of filling-in as well as processing a questionnaire. The main advantage associated with business research requirements is the fact that it is expected to be much quicker to fill in and much easier to explain to participants. The bar provides the potential for different types of processing Likert scales cannot. Therefore the researchers are allowed to ascertain that the given answers follow not only the already suggested and used Gauss distribution but also a parabola distribution as it will be suggested in present paper, and which is expected to give the researcher the opportunity to "correct" this tendency. Therefore, a possibility of choosing amongst a number of alternatives is offered, by utilizing fuzzy logic in the same way as it has already been done in industry and combining mathematical models with multivalued operations.展开更多
