中级商务华语词汇教学探讨——以师培课程为例

商务华语属于专业华语(Chinese for Specific Purposes,简称CSP)之范畴,文献指出以海外大学生为主的华语学习者对于"学习中文商务术语"有相当高的学习兴趣及需求,目前坊间的商务华语教材亦有蓬勃的发展,然而研究显示,商务华... 商务华语属于专业华语(Chinese for Specific Purposes,简称CSP)之范畴,文献指出以海外大学生为主的华语学习者对于"学习中文商务术语"有相当高的学习兴趣及需求,目前坊间的商务华语教材亦有蓬勃的发展,然而研究显示,商务华语教材中的专业词汇不仅量多且难度高,对于师培生而言,产生未来教授商务华语的进入门坎。本文所研究探讨的问题即是如何培养华语文教学系所之学生,了解并具备教授商务词汇的能力。研究者首先对近年来两岸出版的十部中级商务华语教材的词汇进行整理与分析;由应用华语系学生及商学系学学生两个群组共同选列归纳出405个较难商务词汇,而后将这些较难词汇进行内容分析,二组学生于现行教材中所归纳出的较难词汇最多分属于国际贸易及投资学领域。研究者次年针对此二大领域的较难词汇,向应用华语文系学生进行商务华语词汇教学示范,以探讨师培生进入商务华语教学的碍难研究,并探讨可行的商务华语词汇教学设计及策略。 展开更多

科技华语属专业华语(CSP)的范畴之一,专业华语乃以特殊目的为学习动机之华语,在华语课程教学设计中渐受重视。作者于2010在台师大应用华语文学系针对大学部三年级生教授专业华语课程,在班级实务教学中,将30名学生分为9个小组,分别针对... 科技华语属专业华语(CSP)的范畴之一,专业华语乃以特殊目的为学习动机之华语,在华语课程教学设计中渐受重视。作者于2010在台师大应用华语文学系针对大学部三年级生教授专业华语课程,在班级实务教学中,将30名学生分为9个小组,分别针对科技华语、商用华语等不同专业华语课程进行分析比较,而后进行任务式专业华语教学设计,并教导学生编写一册科技华语教材大纲。台湾专业华语的教学目前仍在初期阶段,科技华语教学活动的研究者更为少见。本文援引任务型语言教学的基本理论,分析任务型教学法在科技华语课程设计中的步骤与安排,包括:任务前阶段(Pre-task)、任务环阶段(The task cycle)、任务后阶段(Post-task)等。本文将分析科技华语的发展概况、任务型科技华语课程之内容,以及科技华语课程教学设计待克服之难点。 展开更多

The Impact of Technology-Integrated Instruction to Elementary Students' Language Learning Motivation and Performance

This study aims to investigate technology-integrated language learning courses that benefit elementary language learners' desire to learn English (motivation) and how they are related to the student's performance. Theories guiding this investigation included Dornyei's L2 Motivational Self System and Gardner's Socio Psychological System to describe language learners' desire to learn (motivation). Thirty-five 3rd grade elementary school students, who are learning English with technology at school, were included in this study. The result indicates that the features of technology students like to use while learning have positive and significant correlation with desire to learn English (motivation); and their previous technology learning experience and motivation have significant influence on their final grade. This final analysis could provide a guideline for EFL teachers or students who are in teacher training programs to integrate technology into their future courses. 展开更多

In this study, we made references to past literatures and developed an e-learning training program for CSL (Chinese as a Second Language) teachers. The class was held from July to August, 2010, in Chinese Culture University (Taiwan), and we designed a performance-evaluation questionnaire with the Delphi method. Three months after the training program was completed, the questionnaire was given to the 30 students of the class, and they were asked to answer questions regarding their use of e-learning in the actual practice. We also asked 5 teachers to conduct experimental e-learning for us to video-record and observe. This effort allows us to discuss the use of e-learning among CSL teachers in Taiwan, come up with a conclusion and suggestions, and use the findings as references for course-planning and policies or research regarding the digital learning of Chinese. 展开更多

Teachers often feel unsure about English language teaching in intercultural dimension because they think the courses they took before are language knowledge oriented. Even though they hear about language-culture teaching theory and practice in the classroom, they are lack of confidence in trying to introduce a cultural dimension. The purpose of the article is to discuss how to integrate the theory of English teaching in intercultural dimension with its practical application in the classroom and to what extent the in-service teacher training course designed for middle school English teachers in Xinjiang can contribute to promoting their acquisition of intercultural communicative competence. The innovation requires changes in teachers' self-concept, in their professional qualifications, in their attitudes and skills towards English learning and teaching. Some activities for the course are presented and some ideas may serve suggesting approaches to teacher training. 展开更多
