By simulating with Monte Carlo method and programming in Matlab language, the various jamming results in terms of bit error rate under several jamming scenarios are obtained. Through analyzing the simulation results and quantitative dependences of jamming effects on the distance from jammer to GPS receiver and the jammer’s height over ground, it is concluded that jamming with wide band jammer is much more effective than that with narrow band one.展开更多
The distribution of hydrography and circulation in the eastern tropical Indian Ocean(ETIO) during April-May 2011 were analyzed using cruise observations,satellite observations,and historic hydrographic data.It was obs...The distribution of hydrography and circulation in the eastern tropical Indian Ocean(ETIO) during April-May 2011 were analyzed using cruise observations,satellite observations,and historic hydrographic data.It was observed that warm water(>28℃) occupies the upper 50-m layer in the ETIO.Low-salinity surface water was observed at the mouth of the Bay of Bengal(BOB),which further extends to the Arabian Sea and off Sumatra via the Sri Lanka coast and the eastern bay mouth.Arabian Sea high-salinity water(ASHSW) is carried eastward along the equator to around 90°E by the equatorial undercurrent(EUC).It also runs south of Sri Lanka(north to 3°N) and in the western bay mouth(west to 87°E) but is much shallower than its counterpart at the equator.It is suggested to be the residual of the ASHSW,which intrudes into the BOB during the preceding southwest monsoon.Our results also show that,in the south of Sri Lanka,just below this subsurface high-salinity water,very-low-salinity water(about 34.8) occurs at depths of 100-200 m.Further analysis suggests that this low-salinity water comes from the BOB.展开更多
The shapes of intrusive body and contact zone might influence the formation and distribution of orebodies in skarn deposit.By taking Xinwuli intrusive body in Fenghuangshan copper deposit,Tongling,Anhui,China,as the r...The shapes of intrusive body and contact zone might influence the formation and distribution of orebodies in skarn deposit.By taking Xinwuli intrusive body in Fenghuangshan copper deposit,Tongling,Anhui,China,as the research object,a new method was used to obtain the quantitative relationship between intrusion morphology and skarn mineralization.The first step of the method was to extract morphological characteristic parameters based on mathematical morphology and Euclidean distance transformation;then the quantitative relationship between the parameters and orebodies was analyzed;finally correlational analyses between the parameters and mineralization indices were conducted.The results show that morphological characteristic parameters can effectively indicate the location of concealed ore bodies in skarn deposit,with the following parts as advantageous positions of skarn mineralization:(1)the parts away from the1st trend surface in the range from?25to50m;(2)the convex parts about200m away from the2nd trend surface,around which the tangent plane of the intrusive body is approximately consistent with the trend surface;(3)the contact zones with angle between intrusive body original contact surface and trend contact surface ranging from35°to70°;(4)the parts with angle between intrusive body original contact surface and regional extruding far crustal stress ranging from50°to60°.These knowledge can be applied to more skarn deposits for future mineral exploration.展开更多

The Atacama and Domeyko fault systems in northern Chile control the tectonic- magmatic activities that migrate eastward and the types...Chile is a very important country that forms part of the Andean metallogenic belts. The Atacama and Domeyko fault systems in northern Chile control the tectonic- magmatic activities that migrate eastward and the types of mineral resources. In this paper, we processed and interpreted aeromagnetic data from northern Chile using reduction to pole, upward field continuation, the second derivative calculation in the vertical direction, inclination angle calculation, and analytical signal amplitude analysis. We revealed the locations and planar distribution characteristics of the regional deep faults along the NNE and NS directions. Furthermore, we observed that the major reasons for the formation of the tectonic-magmatic rocks belts were the nearly parallel deep faults distributed from west to east and multiple magmatic activities along these faults. We ascertained the locations of volcanic mechanisms and the relationships between them using these regional deep faults. We deduced the spatial distributions of the basic-intermediate, basic, and acidic igneous rocks, intrusive rocks, and sedimentary sequences. We showed the linear positive magnetic anomalies and magnetic anomaly gradient zones by slowly varying the background, negative magnetic anomaly field, which indicated the presence of strong magmatic activities in these regional deep faults; it also revealed the favorable areas of copper and polymetallic mineralization. This study provides some basic information for further research on the geology, structural characteristics, and mineral resource prospecting in northern Chile.展开更多

This hybrid system showed significantly improved results with respect to tropical cyclone track forecast compared to the standard GSI system in the case of Muifa in 2011. Further analyses revealed that the flow-dependent ensemble covariance was the major contributor to the better performance of the GSI-ETKF system than the standard GSI system; the GSI-ETKF system was found to be potentially able to adjust the position of the typhoon vortex systematically and better update the environmental field.展开更多

The ternary alloy is a semiconductor band-gap direct, in that work the main interest is about the ternary compound. The results obtained are very satisfactory, they are compared with experimental results, and are in good agreement. With regard to the energy con- sumption and carbon emissions of transportation within an open-cut mine, this paper systematically compared the work and energy consumption of a truck and belt conveyor on a theoretical basis, and con- structed a model to calculate the energy consumption of open-cut mine transportation. Life cycle carbon emission factors and power consumption calculation model were established through a Process Analysis- Life Cycle Analysis (PA-LCA). The following results were obtained: (1) the energy consumption of truck transportation was four to twelve times higher than that of the belt conveyor; (2) the C02 emissions from truck transportation were three to ten times higher than those of the belt conveyor; (3) with the increase in the slope angle for transportation, the ratio of truck to belt conveyor for both energy consumption and carbon emissions gradually decreased; (4) based on 2013 prices in China, the energy cost of transportation using a belt conveyor in open-cut coal mines could save 0.6-2.4 Yuan/(t kin) compared to truck transportation.展开更多
