Experiments were operated under the condition of 3 and 5 bar brake mean effective pressure (BMEP) engine loads and different equivalence ratios (φ=0.83-1.25) with engine speed of 1200 r/min using blends made of 70 vol.% gasoline and 30 vol.% butanol isomers (N30, S30, I30 and T30). The results indicated that compared with gasoline, all butanol isomer blends have higher cylinder pressure. N30 has the highest and most advanced peak pressure, and T30 shows a higher brake specific fuel consumption (BSFC) and lower brake thermal efficiency (BTE). N30 presents a lower UHC emissions and I30 has slightly higher CO emissions than other blends. For unregulated emissions, compared with gasoline, butanol isomer blends have higher acetaldehyde, and N30 produces a higher emission of 1,3-butadiene than other blends. A reduction in benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene and xylene (BTEX) has been found with butanol isomer blends.展开更多

This variety has proper plant shape, wide and straight flag leaf and strong and thick stem, with the advantages of more grains per panicle, close seeds, high seed set- ting rate and good color in maturation stage. In December 2014, the variety passed the examination and approval by Jiangxi Crop Variety Approval Committee in 2014. In this study, the characteristics of the variety, and its high-yielding cultivation tech- nique of direct seeding in the rice field in Jiangxi Province and seed reproduction technique were introduced.展开更多
In this study, data of body weight at slaughter (SW; n = 465), hot carcass weight (HCW; n = 465), cold carcass weight (CCW; n = 401), carcass lean weight (CLW; n = 314), carcass bone weight (CBW; n = 401), c...In this study, data of body weight at slaughter (SW; n = 465), hot carcass weight (HCW; n = 465), cold carcass weight (CCW; n = 401), carcass lean weight (CLW; n = 314), carcass bone weight (CBW; n = 401), carcass total fat weight (CTFW; n = 314) and fat-tail weight (FTW; n = 401) in Lori-Bakhtiari sheep were measured to determine their possible use in breeding programmers aimed at improving ability to carcass quality in this breed. Lambs were slaughtered at 195 + 27 days of age. The method of slaughtering and cultting was Iranian cutting approach. SAS procedures were used for the statistical analysis. Means and their respective standard deviations for SW, HCW, CCW, CLW, CBW, CTFW and FTW were 45.41 ± 6.86, 22.81 ± 4.32, 22.53 ± 4.18, 11.14 ± 1.71, 3.47 ± 0.43, 7.19 ± 2.42 and 3.65 ± 1.37 kg, respectively. The coefficients of variation for CTFW and FTW were 33.62 percent and 38.01 percent, respectively. Environmental effects of kind of rearing after weaning and type of birth on HCW, CCW, CLW, CTFW and FTW traits were significant. Consequently, considerable variation exists for carcass composition traits, especially for carcass fat and fat-tail.展开更多

In 2017, the Hunan Crop Variety Examination and Approval Committee approved Bangcangjingnuo. The breeding process of this cultivar was expounded in this study. This cultivar is highly glutinous and waxy, it produces a stable high yield, and it possesses the quality of low temperature resistance. The theoretical yield of Bangcangjingnuo is 8 731.5 kg/hm^2, and the actual output is about 7 422.0 kg/hm^2 according to the 85% discount.Finally, we described the main points of cultivation technique from the perspectives of timely planting and strict seed sterilization.展开更多
