A ferroelectric Sr0.7Ba0.3Nb2O6 (SBN‐70) semiconductor with a low ferro‐paraelectric phase transition (65℃) was studied. The photocatalytic activity for H2 production by ferroelectric and paraelectric SBN‐70 was examined. The spontaneous polarization in the ferroelectric phase strongly affected the photocata‐lytic performance and parallel ferroelectric domains significantly promoted photogenerated charge separation to result in better photocatalytic H2 production. This knowledge provides an important basis for the fabrication of ferroelectric photocatalysts with improved charge separation ability.展开更多

The DES used here is based on the Spalart–Allmaras(SA) turbulence model, whereas the standard k-ε(SKE) was considered here for comparison purposes. Predictions of the mean axial velocity, temperature and humidity profile have been evaluated and compared with experimental measurements. The effects of the turbulence model on the predictions of the mean axial velocity, temperature and the humidity profile are most noticeable in the(highly anisotropic) spraying region. The findings suggest that DES provide a more accurate prediction(with error less than 5%) of the flow field in a spray drying chamber compared with RANS-based k-ε models. The DES simulation also confirmed the presence of anisotropic turbulent flow in the spray dryer from the analysis of the velocity component fluctuations and turbulent structure as illustrated by the Q-criterion.展开更多

Many previous and classical results can be considered as particular cases of this paper, such as the solutions of the fractional diffusion equations obtained by Wyss; the classical Rayleigh’s time-space similarity solution; the relationship between stress field and velocity field obtained by Bagley and co-worker and Podlubny’s results on the fractional motion equation of a plate. In addition, a lot of significant results also are obtained. For example, the necessary condition for causing the vortex sheet is that the time fractional diffusion index β must be greater than that of generalized second order fluid α; the establiihment of the vorticity distribution function depends on the time history of the velocity profile at a given point, and the time history can be described by the fractional calculus.展开更多
