为了确保长距离控制输水渠系冬季安全输水,需要对其进行冬季输水模拟及实时运行操作控制研究。该文考虑了控制渠系与天然河道输冰的不同,以平封冰盖形成为前提,初步建立了长距离控制渠系在结冰期的渠系响应模型,包括水位、流量、闸门操... 为了确保长距离控制输水渠系冬季安全输水,需要对其进行冬季输水模拟及实时运行操作控制研究。该文考虑了控制渠系与天然河道输冰的不同,以平封冰盖形成为前提,初步建立了长距离控制渠系在结冰期的渠系响应模型,包括水位、流量、闸门操作、水温过程和冰盖变化过程的模拟仿真。利用南水北调中线工程京石段资料在较简单工况下,对控制渠系在下游常水位的反馈比例积分(PID)控制器作用下进行模拟并分析模拟效果,指出冰盖糙率、控制器参数和控制策略对渠系水力响应的影响很大。研究表明该模型可用于长距离控制渠系结冰期的运行模拟及分析冬季结冰期运行规律,在此基础上可以研究得到更精确更贴近实际的模型。 展开更多

When measuring flatness error in close way by pitch, usually the uncertainty of measurement result is independently estimated according to pitch points. By analyzing a concrete example, this paper proposed that the uncertainty should be evaluated by the correlation calculating method. This approach greatly improved the deficiencies of the assessment method according to independent measurement and enhanced measurement precision. The NBEE and NWEE classes of lifetime distributions and their properties

A class of lifetime distributions, new better than equilibrium in expectation (NBEE), and its dual, new worse than equilibrium in expectation (NWEE), are studied based on the comparison of the expectations of lifetime X and its equilibrium Xo. The relationships of the NBEE (NWEE) and other lifetime distribution classes are discussed. It is proved that the NBEE is very large, and increasing failure rate (IFR), new better than used (NBU) and the L class are its subclasses. The closure properties under two kinds of reliability operations, namely, convolution and mixture, are investigated. Furthermore, a Poisson shock model and a special cumulative model are also studied, in which the necessary and sufficient conditions for the NBEE (NWEE) lifetime distribution of the systems are established. In the homogenous Poisson shock model, the system lifetime belongs to NBEE(NWEE) if and only if the corresponding discrete failure distribution belongs to the discrete NBEE(NWEE). While in the cumulative model, the system has an NBEE lifetime if and only if the stochastic threshold of accumulated damage is NBEE. 展开更多

To explore the energy saving effect of building envelope, the experiments were carried out through a comparison of basic cubicle in summer. Experiments show that if energy efficiency measures are applied only in the external walls and windows, the energy saving cubicles have an average energy efficiency ratio of 27.75% and 27.05% when the air change rates are 1.1 and 1.4 h-1 in summer, with both values being over the standard target value by 25%. And the indoor air temperature of the energy saving cubicle is below that of the basic cubicle. The daily mean temperature difference between the interior surface of insulation wall and no insulation reaches 1.47℃, and the mean temperature difference is up to 8.52℃ between the interior surface and exterior surface of insulating glass and single glass. The two cubicles were simulated for energy consumption using VisualDOE4.0 software under real weather conditions in summer. The results show that the mean deviation is 10.02% between experimental and simulated energy efficiency ratio. The correctness and validity of simulation results of the VisualDOE4.0 software are proved. 展开更多

Where do Random Rough Surfaces Fail? Part I: Fracture Loci Safety Envelopes at Early Stages of Degradation

Damage on surfaces often compromises the efficiency of some types of energy production, the safety and reliability of components, and ultimately increases costs. The environment can degrade the structural integrity of surfaces in service by the accumulation of large numbers of small destructive events, which based on the Central Limit Theorem leads to a Gaussian distribution of pit depth. In order to develop safety envelopes relating fracture loci with topological parameters of a brittle material, scatter plots were obtained and analyzed. Starting with an engineering surface, after 6 to 9 micrometers of average degradation depth, safety envelopes could be developed using average roughness and two other proposed parameters. Interestingly, maximum pit depth showed very low correlation with the location of fracture, at the early stage of degradation studied. This is attributed to relaxation of stress concentration at a given pit location due to the assuaging effect caused by neighboring pits. Additionally, energy at fracture was obtained, and a maximum relaxation region was observed. Analytical and experimental study of this region, as well as ductility effects are currently under research. 展开更多

This study was conducted to study the effects of the addition of encapsulated and non-encapsulated compound acidifiers (in a diet based on corn-soybean meal-extruded soybean) on growth performance and incidence of diarrhea in weaning piglets. Sixty-four 28-day-old, crossbred piglets (Landrace × Large White), weighing an average of 7.004- 0.10 kg, were randomly assigned to four treatments with four replicates per pen, according to the single-factor design principle. The feeding trial lasted for 35 days. The results showed that, when compared to non-encapsulated acidifiers, encapsulated compound acidifiers not only improved the average daily gain and the feed efficiency (P 〈 0.01), but also reduced the incidence of diarrhea. However, the addition of encapsulated compound acidifiers in piglet diets had no significant effect on the average daily food intake (P〉0.05). These results indicated that the encapsulated compound acidifiers enhanced the intestinal adaptation, and subsequently improved the growth performance and reduced the incidence of diarrhea in weaning piglets. 展开更多

The Anomalous European Climates Linked to Different Euro-Atlantic Blocking

The impact on temperature and precipitation anomalies over the European continent of the different action centers of blocking events in the Euro-Atlantic sector was investigated. It was found that the position of the blocking action center in the Euro-Atlantic region seems to dominate European climates. When the center of the blocking action is in the Greenland region, there is a strong negative temperature anomaly over Central and Northern Europe, as well as a strong positive precipitation anomaly over southern Europe. However, there tends to be a strong negative temperature anomaly in the west(east) part of Europe when the center of the blocking action is shifted to the Eastern Atlantic and west Europe(east Europe). In particular, when the blocking action center is closer to the European continent, the fall in temperature becomes more evident over Central and south Europe than over other regions. Moreover, it was found that when the region where the blocking action center exists changes from the Eastern Atlantic and west Europe region to the east Europe region, the existing region of dominant positive precipitation anomalies varies from southwest Europe to southeast Europe and the Middle East. 展开更多

Based on forest inventory data (FID) at sublot level,we estimated the carbon sequestration in forest vegetation of Beijing,China in 2009.In this study,the carbon sequestration in forest vegetation at sublot level was calculated based on net biomass production (ΔB) which was estimated with biomass of each sublot and function relationships between ΔB and biomass.The biomass of forested land was calculated with biomass expansion factors (BEFs) method,while those of shrub land and other forest land types were estimated with biomass,coverage and height of referred shrubs and shrub coverage and height of each sublot.As one of special forested land types,the biomass of economic tree land was calculated with biomass per tree and tree number.The variation of carbon sequestration in forest vegetation with altitude,species and stand age was also investigated in this study.The results indicate that the carbon sequestration in forest vegetation in Beijing is 4.12 × 106 tC/yr,with the average rate of 3.94 tC/(ha·yr).About 56.91% of the total carbon sequestration in forest vegetation is supported by the forest in the plain with an altitude of < 60 m and the low mountainous areas with an altitude from 400 m to 800 m.The carbon sequestration rate in forest vegetation is the highest in the plain area with an altitude of < 60 m and decreased significantly in the transitional area from the low plain to the low mountainous area with an altitude ranging from 200 m to 400 m due to intensive human disturbance.The carbon sequestration of Populus spp.forest and Quercus spp.forest are relatively higher than those of other plant species,accounting for 25.33% of the total.The carbon sequestration in vegetation by the forest of < 40 years amounts to 45.38% of the total.The carbon sequestration rate in forest vegetation peaks at the stand age of 30–40 years.Therefore,it would be crucial for enhancing the capability of carbon sequestration in forest vegetation to protect the forest in Beijing,to limit human disturbance in the transitional area from the plain to the low mountain area,and to foster the newly established open forest. 展开更多
