Phase equilibrium conditions of gas hydrate in several systems were measured by the step-heating method using the cylindrical transparent sapphire cell device.The experimental data for pure CH4 or CO2+deionized water ...Phase equilibrium conditions of gas hydrate in several systems were measured by the step-heating method using the cylindrical transparent sapphire cell device.The experimental data for pure CH4 or CO2+deionized water systems showed good agreement with those in the literatures.This kind of method was then applied to CH4/CO2+sodium dodecyl sulfate(SDS)aqueous solution,CH4/CO2+SDS aqueous solution+silica sand,and(CH4+C2H6+C3H8)gas mixture+SDS aqueous solution systems,where SDS was added to increase the hydrate formation rate without evident influence on the equilibrium conditions.The feasibility and reliability of the step-heating method,especially for porous media systems and gas mixtures systems were determined.The experimental data for CO2+silica sand data shows that the equilibrium pressure will change significantly when the particle size of silica sand is less than 96μm.The formation equilibrium pressure was also measured by the reformation of hydrate.展开更多

In this work, based on Mohr-Coulomb(M-...In the limit equilibrium framework, two- and three-dimensional slope stabilities can be solved according to the overall force and moment equilibrium conditions of a sliding body. In this work, based on Mohr-Coulomb(M-C) strength criterion and the initial normal stress without considering the inter-slice(or inter-column) forces, the normal and shear stresses on the slip surface are assumed using some dimensionless variables, and these variables have the same numbers with the force and moment equilibrium equations of a sliding body to establish easily the linear equation groups for solving them. After these variables are determined, the normal stresses, shear stresses, and slope safety factor are also obtained using the stresses assumptions and M-C strength criterion. In the case of a three-dimensional slope stability analysis, three calculation methods, namely, a non-strict method, quasi-strict method, and strict method, can be obtained by satisfying different force and moment equilibrium conditions. Results of the comparison in the classic two- and three-dimensional slope examples show that the slope safety factors calculated using the current method and the other limit equilibrium methods are approximately equal to each other, indicating the feasibility of the current method; further, the following conclusions are obtained: 1) The current method better amends the initial normal and shear stresses acting on the slip surface, and has the identical results with using simplified Bishop method, Spencer method, and Morgenstern-Price(M-P) method; however, the stress curve of the current method is smoother than that obtained using the three abovementioned methods. 2) The current method is suitable for analyzing the two- and three-dimensional slope stability. 3) In the three-dimensional asymmetric sliding body, the non-strict method yields safer solutions, and the results of the quasi-strict method are relatively reasonable and close to those of the strict method, indicating that the quasi-strict method can be used to obtain a reliable slope safety factor.展开更多

However, such separation introduces the issues regarding the reliability of the control plane and contr...Software Defined Networking(SDN) provides flexible network management by decoupling control plane and data plane. However, such separation introduces the issues regarding the reliability of the control plane and controller load imbalance in the distributed SDN network, which will cause the low network stability and the poor controller performance. This paper proposes Reliable and Load balance-aware Multi-controller Deployment(RLMD) strategy to address the above problems. Firstly, we establish a multiple-controller network model and define the relevant parameters for RLMD. Then, we design the corresponding algorithms to implement this strategy. By weighing node efficiency and path quality, Controller Placement Selection(CPS) algorithm is introduced to explore the reliable deployments of the controllers. On this basis, we design Multiple Domain Partition(MDP) algorithm to allocate switches for controllers according to node attractability and controller load balancing rate, which could realize the reasonable domain planning. Finally, the simulations show that, compared with the typical strategies, RLMD has the better performance in improving the reliability of the control plane and balancing the distribution of the controller loads.展开更多
Several important equilibrium Si isotope fractionation factors among minerals,organic molecules and the H_4SiO_4 solution are complemented to facilitate the explanation of the distributions of Si isotopes in Earth'...Several important equilibrium Si isotope fractionation factors among minerals,organic molecules and the H_4SiO_4 solution are complemented to facilitate the explanation of the distributions of Si isotopes in Earth's surface environments.The results reveal that,in comparison to aqueous H_4SiO_4,heavy Si isotopes will be significantly enriched in secondary silicate minerals.On the contrary,quadra-coordinated organosilicon complexes are enriched in light silicon isotope relative to the solution.The extent of ^(28)Si-enrichment in hyper-coordinated organosilicon complexes was found to be the largest.In addition,the large kinetic isotope effect associated with the polymerization of monosilicic acid and dimer was calculated,and the results support the previous statement that highly ^(28)Sienrichment in the formation of amorphous quartz precursor contributes to the discrepancy between theoretical calculations and field observations.With the equilibrium Si isotope fractionation factors provided here,Si isotope distributions in many of Earth's surface systems can be explained.For example,the change of bulk soil δ^(30)Si can be predicted as a concave pattern with respect to the weathering degree,with the minimum value where allophane completely dissolves and the total amount of sesquioxides and poorly crystalline minerals reaches their maximum.When,under equilibrium conditions,the well-crystallized clays start to precipitate from the pore solutions,the bulk soil δ^(30)Si will increase again and reach a constant value.Similarly,the precipitation of crystalline smectite and the dissolution of poorly crystalline kaolinite may explain the δ^(30)Si variations in the ground water profile.The equilibrium Si isotope fractionations among the quadracoordinated organosilicon complexes and the H_4SiO_4solution may also shed light on the Si isotope distributions in the Si-accumulating plants.展开更多
Based on the non-linear air leakage seepage equation for an anisotropic porous medium, on the seepage diffusion equation of multicomponent gas and on the seepage synthetic heat transfer equation of a porous medium, th...Based on the non-linear air leakage seepage equation for an anisotropic porous medium, on the seepage diffusion equation of multicomponent gas and on the seepage synthetic heat transfer equation of a porous medium, the numerical model for field flow problems of irregular patterns of a goaf with multiple points of leaking air is established and simultaneously solved by the upwind mode finite element method (G3 computer program). According to the complexity of irregular patterns of a goaf with multiple points of leaking air, the flow pattern in a large area of such a goaf and the variation in gases of methane, oxygen and CO and in temperature are theoretically described. In the calculation, the goaf is regarded as a caving anisotropic medium and the coupling effect of methane effusion on spontaneous combustion is considered. The simulation results agree well with practical experience. In addition, the spontaneous combustion process is also simulated, indicating that 1) the spontaneous combustion often takes place near the area where fresh air leaks in and 2) the fire sources can be classified into static and dynamic zones. Therefore, in practical fire preventing and extinguishing, we should clearly distinguish the upstream air leaking points from the downstream ones in order to take proper measures for leakage stopping.展开更多

Based on the static equilibrium condition and yield criteria of components, a unified bearing capacity model of confined concrete column is proposed, and a simplified calculating equation of the model is also given. The model captures the character of confined concrete column. Effects of the confinement effect ratio, the lateral confinement ratio, unconfined concrete strength and the properties of confining material on the bearing capacity of confined concrete column are carefully considered. The model may be applicable to the calculation of bearing capacity of steel-confined concrete, concrete filled steel tube and FRP-confined concrete. The measurement was carried out in a cylindrical autoclave with a moveable piston and a window for adjustment and observation of phase equilibria at given T and p. The samples were taken from two coexisting phases and were analyzed to obtain their compositions. It is shown that the solubility of SC CO2 in ethanol increases drastically with pressures at the given temperature, but the content of ethanol in CO2-rich phase increase faintly.展开更多

It is very important to study the mechanism of RC box section structures subjected to a combi-nation of forces. A theoretical study and deduction of the unified expression for failure of reinforced concrete members with box section under combined bending, shear, axial force and torsion were carried out with stress equilibrium assumption. Deep adsorptive desulfurization of low sulfur content gasoline via zeolite is a promising process.Herein,the Cu~ⅠY~ⅢY zeolite was prepared and the effect of adsorption conditions and aromatics on the performance of ...Deep adsorptive desulfurization of low sulfur content gasoline via zeolite is a promising process.Herein,the Cu~ⅠY~ⅢY zeolite was prepared and the effect of adsorption conditions and aromatics on the performance of adsorptive desulfurization was studied.And the isothermal equilibrium and kinetics were also investigated.The results showed that upon using 10 m L of model oil and 0.2 g of the Cu~ⅠY~ⅢY adsorbent during the adsorption reaction,which was carried out at 323 K for 60 min,the benzothiophene(BT) desulfurization rate reached 98.4%.The impact of aromatics on the adsorptive desulfurization over the Cu~ⅠY~ⅢY zeolite decreased in the following order:ortho-xylene > meta-xylene > para-xylene.The equilibrium isotherm shows that the adsorption of benzothiophene over the as-prepared CuIYIIIY zeolite can be represented by the Langmuir model.And the kinetics can be more perfectly represented by the pseudo-second-order model than that of the pseudo-first-order one.The thermodynamic parameters(ΔG,ΔH) were both negative,which suggested that the adsorption process is monostratal,mass transfer controlled,spontaneous,and exothermic.展开更多

The experiment was carded out in a constant volume vessel with a horizontal circulation pipe and a peristaltic pump forced CO2 saturated water to flow. The temperature and pressure were recorded. The results showed that some CO2 escaped from the water in the flow process and the pressure increased, indicating that the gas-liquid equilibrium was broken. The amount of escaped CO2 varied with flow speed and reached a limit in a few minutes, entitled dy- namic equilibrium. Temperature and liquid movement played the same important role in breaking the phase equilib- rium. Under the experimental conditions, the ratio of the excessive carbon dioxide in the gas phase to its thermody- namic equilibrium amount in the liquid could achieve 15%.展开更多
Chlamydomonas reinhardtii(C.reinhardtii) was used to study adsorption of cadmium(Cd) from aqueous media within various experimental conditions.Results showed that the adsorption process was very fast,with most of the ...Chlamydomonas reinhardtii(C.reinhardtii) was used to study adsorption of cadmium(Cd) from aqueous media within various experimental conditions.Results showed that the adsorption process was very fast,with most of the adsorption occurring within 30 min of contact time and the equilibrium state was reached in about 60 min.The adsorption ability of the algae increases with the increasing adsorptions sites on cells.Maximum adsorption was observed at the initial Cd concentration of 100 mg/L and pH 6.0. The adsorption was markedly inhibited in the presence of calcium and magnesium ions at 10 mM and the Cd removal efficiency was reduced by 16.54%and 14.99%respectively.This study would be a finding of note with regard to practical wastewater treatment.展开更多
According to performance analysis of a three-phase grid-connected inverter mathematical model of a directly-driven wind turbine with a permanent magnet synchronous generator (D-PMSG) under unbalanced network voltage c...According to performance analysis of a three-phase grid-connected inverter mathematical model of a directly-driven wind turbine with a permanent magnet synchronous generator (D-PMSG) under unbalanced network voltage conditions, a dual current-loop control strategy (DCC) oriented on positive voltage and negative current is proposed to inhibit the DC voltage fluctuation. Meanwhile, a notch filter is introduced into the conventional control strategy of a phase-locked loop to complete the low voltage ride through (LVRT) ability of the wind generator. A 1.5-MW D-PMSG with a back-to-back IGBT frequency converter was simulated in the PSCAD/EMTDC environment, and simulation results showed that: the maximum wind power tracking was achieved in this system and the proposed DCC strategy could successfully inhibit the rising aging of DC voltage and enhance the ride-through capability of D-PMSG wind generation system under unbalanced network voltage conditions.展开更多

文摘Deep adsorptive desulfurization of low sulfur content gasoline via zeolite is a promising process.Herein,the Cu~ⅠY~ⅢY zeolite was prepared and the effect of adsorption conditions and aromatics on the performance of adsorptive desulfurization was studied.And the isothermal equilibrium and kinetics were also investigated.The results showed that upon using 10 m L of model oil and 0.2 g of the Cu~ⅠY~ⅢY adsorbent during the adsorption reaction,which was carried out at 323 K for 60 min,the benzothiophene(BT) desulfurization rate reached 98.4%.The impact of aromatics on the adsorptive desulfurization over the Cu~ⅠY~ⅢY zeolite decreased in the following order:ortho-xylene > meta-xylene > para-xylene.The equilibrium isotherm shows that the adsorption of benzothiophene over the as-prepared CuIYIIIY zeolite can be represented by the Langmuir model.And the kinetics can be more perfectly represented by the pseudo-second-order model than that of the pseudo-first-order one.The thermodynamic parameters(ΔG,ΔH) were both negative,which suggested that the adsorption process is monostratal,mass transfer controlled,spontaneous,and exothermic.
文摘This paper presents a new study on optimum determination of the partial ratios of coupled planetary gear sets for getting minimum radial size of the gear sets. In this paper, based on moment equilibrium condition of a mechanic system including two-row planetary gear sets and their regular resistance conditions, an explicit model for calculating the partial ratios of coupled planetary gear sets was proposed. In addition, by giving this effective model, the partial ratios can be calculated simply and accurately.
文摘This paper introduces a new study on the optimum calculation of partial transmission ratios of mechanical drive system using a V-belt and two-step bevel helical gearbox for getting minimum size of the system. In the paper, based on moment equilibrium condition of a mechanic system including V-belt and a two-gear-unit of the gearbox, models for optimum calculation of the partial ratios of the V-belt and the gearbox were proposed. As the models are explicit, the partial ratios can be calculated accurately and simply.

文摘The carbon dioxide-water system was used to investigate the flowing gas-liquid metastable state. The experiment was carded out in a constant volume vessel with a horizontal circulation pipe and a peristaltic pump forced CO2 saturated water to flow. The temperature and pressure were recorded. The results showed that some CO2 escaped from the water in the flow process and the pressure increased, indicating that the gas-liquid equilibrium was broken. The amount of escaped CO2 varied with flow speed and reached a limit in a few minutes, entitled dy- namic equilibrium. Temperature and liquid movement played the same important role in breaking the phase equilib- rium. Under the experimental conditions, the ratio of the excessive carbon dioxide in the gas phase to its thermody- namic equilibrium amount in the liquid could achieve 15%.

文摘Chlamydomonas reinhardtii(C.reinhardtii) was used to study adsorption of cadmium(Cd) from aqueous media within various experimental conditions.Results showed that the adsorption process was very fast,with most of the adsorption occurring within 30 min of contact time and the equilibrium state was reached in about 60 min.The adsorption ability of the algae increases with the increasing adsorptions sites on cells.Maximum adsorption was observed at the initial Cd concentration of 100 mg/L and pH 6.0. The adsorption was markedly inhibited in the presence of calcium and magnesium ions at 10 mM and the Cd removal efficiency was reduced by 16.54%and 14.99%respectively.This study would be a finding of note with regard to practical wastewater treatment.
文摘According to performance analysis of a three-phase grid-connected inverter mathematical model of a directly-driven wind turbine with a permanent magnet synchronous generator (D-PMSG) under unbalanced network voltage conditions, a dual current-loop control strategy (DCC) oriented on positive voltage and negative current is proposed to inhibit the DC voltage fluctuation. Meanwhile, a notch filter is introduced into the conventional control strategy of a phase-locked loop to complete the low voltage ride through (LVRT) ability of the wind generator. A 1.5-MW D-PMSG with a back-to-back IGBT frequency converter was simulated in the PSCAD/EMTDC environment, and simulation results showed that: the maximum wind power tracking was achieved in this system and the proposed DCC strategy could successfully inhibit the rising aging of DC voltage and enhance the ride-through capability of D-PMSG wind generation system under unbalanced network voltage conditions.
