Annuli on the opercula bones and scales were used to determine the age. The standard length of specimens examined varied between 12.50 and 29.80 cm and body weight 10-385 g. Annuli (growth rings) observed on the opercula bones of specimens with mean standard lengths 21.70 ± 1.4 cm had one real annulus, 24.80 ± 1.1 cm had two real annuli, 27.4 ± 0.9 cm had three real annuli indicating age one, two, and three (1 +, 2+, 3+ ) respectively. Growth rings observed on scales appeared as interruptions in the normal pattems of scales. Specimens with mean standard lengths of 21.3 ± 1.5 cm, 24.7 ± 0.8 cm and 27.35 ± 11 cm were interpreted to be ages 1+, 2+, and 3+ respectively. The maximum age of samples, derived from annuli on both opercula bones and scales was 3 years. Specimens below 18 cm standard length did not register any growth mark. The mean lengths at the estimated ages obtained using both opercula bones and scales were not significantly different (P 〉 0.05, P 〉 0.01).展开更多

The ultimate goal is to transform these relationships into greater profitability by increasing repeat purchase rates and reducing customer acquisition costs. Customer relationship management (CRM) has a significant potential to leverage an organization's performance, but it does not come without a clear sense of destination and typically without pain. For the research methodology we use the database of customers of a Romanian accounting services company Vulpoi & Toader Management SRL, which is an important player in this market. The goal of our paper is to find out the link between knowledge management (KM) and CRM for this company and how these "innovations" contribute to increasing the value of the business.展开更多

Since then, teachers have had a lot of work to be done. Every year they have to prepare an individualized programme for each child with special needs. They have to set goals that each child with special needs has to achieve at a particular subject. Pupils have different teachers every year and to make their work easier, the author is considering making a website database with basic information about them. This database would state the goals that the pupil achieved in the past year, which strategy of teaching proved to be the best for him or her and what the areas he or she needs help with are. Teachers would be collecting this data during the primary education, after the final evaluation this database would also be made available to the secondary school of the pupil in concern. This database should be located on the website of Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports. It would be available to primary schools, but protected by a password which would grant the school access to the data of their students only. In secondary schools, teachers could also access to the information, so they would not have to be discovering appropriate teaching strategies that worked for a pupil in the past all over again. This would enable better conditions and a successful education for pupils with special needs.展开更多

The increase in income per capita is followed by the increasing number of middle-class population and the reduction in poverty. However, it has not been accompanied by declining inequality that reflects the quality of economic growth. According to Kuznets theory, an increase in inequality is a common problem in the process of economic growth. Inequality will further decline after the country has reached a certain threshold level of income. This study aims to analyze the trend and nature of income inequality in Indonesia and to test whether the Kuznets Curve holds. This paper used dynamic panel method with 26 provincial panel data from 2000 to 2011. The empirical result proves the existence of inverted U-shaped Kuznets Curve in Indonesia and it may have the turning points when the real GDP per capita in each province reached Rp. 179.41 million/year or around US$17.000. For the determinant of inequality in Indonesia, this study found that the percentage of urban population, inflation, and share of agricultural sector contributed to the increase of inequality, while high-level education and share of industrial sector are associated with the lower level of inequality.展开更多
