Hematite(α-Fe_(2)O_(3))constitutes one of the most promising photoanode materials for oxygen evolution reaction(OER).Recent research on Fe_(2)O_(3) have found a fast OER rate dependence on surface hole density,suggesting a multisite reaction pathway.However,the effect of heteroatom in Fe_(2)O_(3) on the multisite mechanism is still poorly understood.Herein we synthesized Fe_(2)O_(3) on Ti substrates(Fe_(2)O_(3)/Ti)to study the oxygen intermediates of OER by light-dark electrochemical scans.We identified the Fe-OH species disappeared and Ti-OH intermediates appeared on Fe_(2)O_(3)/Ti when pH=11‒14,which significantly improved the OER performance of Fe_(2)O_(3)/Ti.Combined with the density functional theory calculations,we propose that Ti atom acts as cocatalyst site and captures proton from neighboring Fe-OH species under highly alkaline condition,thereby promoting the coupling of Fe=O and reducing the energy barrier of the non-electrochemical step.Our work provides a new insight into the role of heteroatom in OER multisite mechanism based on clarifying the reaction intermediates. 展开更多

Controlling effects of forest belts on non-point source pollution of agricultural lands in Taihu Lake area, China 被引量:1

Taihu Lake area is one of the most developed areas in agricultural production. Application of fertilizers and pesticides in large quantities greatly aggravate environmental pollution of this area, and water pollution has worsened to an unbearable condition. Two sampling farms (respectively 1 hm2) under rape-rice rotation and wheat-rice rotation were selected as studied ecosystem and a 5-yr-old Poplar forest and 8-yr-old Metasequoia forest were chosen in the selected areas. By collecting samples of Nitrogen, Phosphorus in water, crops and underground of forest, the transfer and loss of N and P (main water pollutants) in faming ecosystem were studied, and the effects of forest belts on non-point source pollution of agricultural lands was analyzed. The results indicated that the transfer and loss of N and P vary with means of rotation, types of crops and the amount of fertilizer application. Buffering forest belts betweens farmlands and ditches can effectively stop and purify such elements as N and P in soil runoffs, thus controlling non-point source pollution of agricultural lands. When the width ratio of farmland to forest belt is 100 to 40, 50.05% losing N, 29.37% losing P can be absorbed by forest under rape-rice rotation and 30.98% N, 86.73% P can be absorbed by forest under wheat-rice rotation. When the width ratio of farmland to forest belt is 150 to 40, 33.37% losing N, 19.58% losing P can be absorbed by the forest under rape-rice rotation, and under wheat-rice rotation 20.65% lost N and 57.82% lost P can be absorbed. There is only some purification effect when the width ration of farmland to forest belt is 200 to 40. Based on model of buffering forest belts, the width ratio of farmland to forest is determined between 100 to 40 and 150 to 40, because it not only can purify water, but also occupy less farmland. It is suggested that Poplars, with the characteristics of fast-growing and high value, are suitable to be planted as shelter-forest in Taihu Lake Watershed. 展开更多

Most GPS positioning errors can be eliminated or removed by the differential technique or the modeling method,but the multipath effect is a special kind of system or gross error,so it is difficult to be simulated or eliminated.In order to improve the accuracy of GPS positioning,the single-epoch pseudorange multipath effects at GPS station were calculated,and firstly modeled based on the spherical cap harmonic(SCH),which is the function of satellite longitude and latitude with the robust method.The accuracy of the kinematic point positioning technique was improved by correcting pseudorange observations with the multipath effect calculated by the SCH model,especially in the elevation direction.The spherical cap harmonic can be used to model the pseudorange multipath effect. 展开更多

In order to measure the parameters of flight rocket by using radar,rocket impact point was estimated accurately for rocket trajectory correction.The Kalman filter with adaptive filter gain matrix was adopted.According to the particle trajectory model,the adaptive Kalman filter trajectory model was constructed for removing and filtering the outliers of the parameters during a section of flight detected by three-dimensional data radar and the rocket impact point was extrapolated.The results of numerical simulation show that the outliers and noise in trajectory measurement signal can be removed effectively by using the adaptive Kalman filter and the filter variance can converge in a short period of time.Based on the relation of filtering time and impact point estimation error,choosing the filtering time of 8-10 scan get the minimum estimation error of impact point. 展开更多

Herein,we report a novel ternary material comprised of Ag nanoparticles and carbon quantum dots(CDs),which are co-loaded using 2D Bi4Ti3O12(BIT)sheets.In this system,Ag can be applied as excited electron-hole pairs in the Bi4Ti3O12 by transferring the plasmonic energy from the metal to the semiconductor.The surface plasmon resonance of Ag can promote the electron transfer properties of the CDs,thereby improving the separation efficiency of the electron-hole pairs.Meanwhile,the CDs can act as an electron buffer to decrease the recombination rate of the electron hole.Moreover,CDs are prepared using a biomaterial,which can provide a chemical group to enhance the electron transfer and connection.The synergistic effects of CDs,Ag,and BIT enable the design of a photocatalytic application with a remarkably improved efficiency and operational stability. 展开更多

A systematical study on the relationship between the amounts of different eutectic phases especially the low-melting-point(LMP)eutectics and the hot tearing susceptibility of ternary Al−Cu−Mg alloys during solidification was performed.By controlling the concentrations of major alloying elements(Cu,Mg),the amounts of LMP eutectics at the final stages of solidification were varied and the corresponding hot tearing susceptibility(HTS)was determined.The results showed that the Al−4.6Cu−0.4Mg(wt.%)alloy,which contained the smallest fraction of LMP eutectics among the investigated alloys,was observed to be the most susceptible to hot tearing.With the amount of total residual liquid being approximately the same in the alloys,the hot tearing resistance is considered to be closely related to the amounts of LMP eutectics.Specifically,the higher the amount of LMP eutectics was,the lower the HTS of the alloy was.Further,the potential mechanism of low HTS for alloys with high amounts of LMP eutectics among ternary Al−Cu−Mg alloys was discussed in terms of feeding ability and permeability as well as total viscosity evolution during solidification. 展开更多

The one-pot synthesis of methyl isobutyl ketone(MIBK) from acetone using multifunctional catalysts is an important sustainable organic synthesis method with high atom and energy efficiency.Herein. we report a series of Pd supported on mixed metal oxide(MMO) catalysts with controllable acidic/basic/metallic sites on the surface. We study the relationship between the nature, synergy,and proximity of active sites and the catalytic performance of the multifunctional catalyst in the tandem reaction, in detail. In the existence of Lewis acid and base sites, the catalysts with medium-strength acidic/basic sites show preferred activity and/or MIBK selectivity. For multifunctional catalysts, the catalytic properties are more than just a collection of active sites, and the Pd/Mg_3Al-MMO catalyst possessing 0.1% Pd loading and ~0.4 acid/base molar ratio exhibits the optimal 42.1% acetone conversion and 37.2% MIBK yield, which is among the best reported so far for this tandem reaction under similar conditions. Moreover, the proximity test indicates that the intimate distance between acidic/basic/metallic sites can greatly shorten the diffusion time of the intermediate species from each active site, leading to an enhancement in the catalytic performance. 展开更多

In this paper, an underwater vehicle was modeled with six dimensional nonlinear equations of motion, controlled by DC motors in all degrees of freedom. Near-optimal trajectories in an energetic environment for underwater vehicles were computed using a nnmerical solution of a nonlinear optimal control problem (NOCP). An energy performance index as a cost function, which should be minimized, was defmed. The resulting problem was a two-point boundary value problem (TPBVP). A genetic algorithm (GA), particle swarm optimization (PSO), and ant colony optimization (ACO) algorithms were applied to solve the resulting TPBVP. Applying an Euler-Lagrange equation to the NOCP, a conjugate gradient penalty method was also adopted to solve the TPBVP. The problem of energetic environments, involving some energy sources, was discussed. Some near-optimal paths were found using a GA, PSO, and ACO algorithms. Finally, the problem of collision avoidance in an energetic environment was also taken into account. 展开更多

The effects of temperature on atomic anti-site behaviors in L12-Ni3(AlFe) phases were studied using microscopic phase-field dynamic model in precipitation progress of Ni75Al20Fe5 alloy.The results show that with the increase of temperature,the formation of NiAl and AlNi anti-sites is much easier in Ni3(AlFe),and Ni and Al anti-site atoms show clearly stronger temperature-dependent than Fe anti-site atoms.The evolution progress of anti-site atoms is completed at the initial growth stage of L12-Ni3(AlFe) phases.The site occupation probabilities of Ni atoms on the sublattice A(NiNi,face centers sites of FCC),and Al and Fe atoms on the sublattice B(AlAl and FeAl,corners sites of FCC) all present the degressive tendency with the temperature increasing.Fe atoms mainly prefer to occupy the Al sublattice at the whole temperature range. 展开更多

The effects of surface roughness, strain rate, friction coefficient and pressure on real contact area were analyzed based on the research of Stupkiewicz. The real contact area model taking account of the effect of friction and deformation of material was obtained. The model of contact conductance at the rolling interface was obtained by integrating the specific feature of heat transfer through the interface of continuous roll-casting. The results indicate that the real contact area increases obviously when the material is under yield, and the real contact area varies inversely with surface roughness, whereas it varies exponentially with friction coefficient, strain rate and pressure, and the power factor depends on strain rate. 展开更多

Ursodeoxycholic acid (UDCA... AIM:Primary biliary cirrhosis (PBC) is a chronic, cholestatic disease of autoimmune etiology,the histology of which shows a destruction of the intrahepatic bile duct and portal inflammation. Ursodeoxycholic acid (UDCA) is now used as a first-line drug for asymptomatic PBC (aPBC) because it is reported that UDCA decreases mortality and prolongs the time of liver transplantation.However, only 20-30% of patients respond fully to UDCA.Recently,lipoprotein-lowering agents have been found to be effective for PBC.The aim of this study was to examine the safety and efficacy of fenofibrate, a member of the fibrate class of hypolipidemic and anti-inflammatory agent via peroxysome proliferatory-activated receptor α,in patients with aPBC.METHODS:Fenofibrate was administered for twelve weeks in nine patients with aPBC who failed to respond to UDCA.UDCA was used along with fenofibrate during the study.The data from aPBC patients were analyzed to assess the biochemical effect of fenofibrate during the study.RESULTS: The serum levels of alkaline phosphatase (ALP)(285±114.8IU/L) and immunoglobulin M (IgM) (255.8±85.9mg/dl) significantly decreased to 186.9±76.2IU/L and 192.9±67.5mg/dL respectively, after fenofibrate treatment in patients with aPBC (P<0.05). Moreover,the titer of antimitochondrial antibody (AMA) also decreased in 4 of 9 patients with aPBC. No adverse reactions were observed in any patients.CONCLUSION:Fenofibrate appears to be significantly effective in treating patients with aPBC who respond incompletely to UDCA alone.Although the mechanism of fenofibrate on aPBC has not yet been fully clarified,combination therapy using fenofibrate and UDCA might be related to the anti-immunological effects, such as the suppression of AMA production as well as its antiinflammatory effect. 展开更多

The reinforcement corrosion is the pitting corrosion of chloride corrosion.Hence,in this study,the variations of reinforcement tensile strength due to stress concentration of pitting corrosion are analyzed.The stress concentration consequence of corrosion on the reinforcement tensile capacity is studied utilizing tension tests and creating different ABAQUS software models.According to the modelling in various corrosion depths,strength reduction is less than 5%in corrosion with pit radius to reinforcement diameter ratio up to 0.3 and for corrosions higher than 0.4,the measure of capacity reduction is increased more to 30%. 展开更多
