Per leaf weight increased by 0.13 g and output value per kang (a heat- able brick bed) deducting energy cost grew by 188.66 yuan. The research explored adaptability maize seed coating agent in spring sowing and effects of ultra-fine powder shaped areas in northeast China. The results showed that germination potential and rate both improved around 5% and the num- ber of root increased by 4% in the treatments with ultra-fine powder shaped maize seed coating agent compared with the control group without seed coating. What's more, the treatments with ultra-fine powder shaped maize seed coating agent took advantages in terms of fresh weight of seeding, stem diameter, and dry weight. It is notable that control effects on underground insects performed the best, with per- centage over 94%, which is more excellent relative to other agents in markets. Therefore, ultra-fine powder shaped maize seed coating agent can be widely applied in spring sowing areas in northeast China, without side effects. 展开更多

[Objective] To evaluate the control effect of yellow sticky cards and sex pheromone on Plutella xylostella and Liriomyza spp.,which can provide reference for large area extension of the technique.[Method] The integrated assessment of trapping efficiency of colored sticky cards and sex pheromone on Liriomyza spp.and Plutella xylostella was conducted by field surveys and structured interview in Tonghai County,Yunnan Province,China.[Result] The results showed that yellow sticky cards and sex pheromone have strong power of trapping Liriomyza spp.and Plutella xylostella(3 414±720 and(219±157) head/piece,respectively);the control cost by the usage of pesticide is the highest,(10 099.5±2 752.5) yuan/hm^2,yellow sticky cards and sex pheromone takes the second place,(1 125.0±465.0) yuan/hm^2,the control cost by the usage of yellow sticky cards is the lowest,(450.0 ±186.0)yuan/hm^2.Without the usage of yellow sticky cards and sex pheromone,pesticide application times and costs are(15.0±2.7) times and(12 070.5±2 136.0) yuan/hm^2;combined with usage of yellow sticky cards and sex pheromone,pesticide application times and costs reduce by 5.7 times and 4 618.5 yuan/hm^2.The ratio of trapped beneficial insects and target pests was 1 ∶1 131,which showed that the negative effect of yellow sticky cards and sex pheromone on the non-target insects was very limited.[Conclusion] The trapping approach has become popular among all the local farmers.Looking at the above factors,the trapping technology has strong application prospect and promotion value in pest control field. 展开更多

In order to explore the effects of landfill composed of biogas residue and slurry on the improvement of soil nutrients and cherry fruit yield, three treatments: control (no landfill), landfilling with biogas residue and water (BR), landfilling with biogas residue and slurry (BS) were conducted in a cherry orchard. The results showed that compared with the control, soil water content around the landfills with a radius of 60 cm within 30 d was increased in BR and BS treatments. The poment- age of short shoots and the total number of shoots of cherry trees were also signif- icantly increased by BR and BS treatments; the cherry fruit yield per tree and the single-fruit weight in BS treatment were increased by 21.76% and 28.89%, respec- tively. In addition, BS treatment obviously improved the contents of soil organic matter, soil available nitrogen, s0il available phosphorus, soil available potassium and other nutrients. The positive effects of BR treatment on the improvement of soil nutrients and cherry fruit yield were lower than those of BS treatment, indicating that the combined use of biogas residue and biogas slurry as landfill can improve the soil water and fertilizer status in orchards, and thus can be promoted in the cultivation of fruit trees. 展开更多

The resuIts showed that mechanical harvesting technoIogy increased the yield of 92.7 kg/hm2, reducing the seeds Ioss. It improved the Iabor efficiency and reduced the harvesting cost. For exampIe, a rice combine harvester was the equal of 18-20 person in the harvest quantity in one day, which directIy reduced the Iabor cost of 2 175-3 000 yuan/hm2 and increased the economic income of 3 307-4 099 yuan/hm2. In order to accelerate the construction of green production mode for tea in Hubei Province, improve the yield of tea and use efficiency of fertilizers, and improve the quality of tea, application effects of special slow-release formula fertilizer in tea plants were investigated in Wuhan. The results showed that compared with conventional fertilization, application of tea plant-specific slow-release formula fertilizer improved the yield of tea by more than 30%. The amino acid content in tea was increased by 21.05% and 30.82%, respectively, and the income was increased 27 696 (33.88%) and 27 624 (33.79%) yuan/hm2, respectively. 展开更多

The research explored the effects of compound management model on soil fertility and peach tree production, involving free-range chicken and returning chicken manure to fields. The results showed that the effects of chicken manure on soil fertility were poorer compared with organic fertilizers, but the former would bet-ter promote peach tree growth and improve yields. On the other hand, the peach fruits applied with chicken manures were smal in size and poor in commercial val-ue. What’s worse, disease rate reached 31.2% and the fruits could not be stored for a long term. Therefore, the compound management model combining agriculture and animal husbandry should intensify epidemic prevention to take place of organic fertilizers. 展开更多

In order to explore the application effect of Yezhiyuan in early hybrid rice,Liangliangyou No.211 and Lingliangyou No.268 were tested in a teaching base in Hunan Agricultural University and Xidu Town, Hengyang County, with Yezhiyuan.The test results showed that the application of photosynthesis synergist in later tillering stage would increase the content of chlorophyll of functional leaf and photosynthetic rate, reduce transpiration rate and enhance yield per unit area. With Yezhiyuan applied, both of photosynthetic rate and chlorophyll content kept higher compared with control group in two experimental sites, and practical yield in Hunan Agricultural University grew 8.54% higher compared with control group, and 10.67%in Hengyang. 展开更多

Due to the continuous low temperature during the early-nursery period in most tobacco-growing areas in Guizhou Province, the tobacco seed germinate slow-ly, the nursery period is prolonged, the quality of tobacco seedlings are not that good, the transplanting is delayed, etc. A comparative test of intensive closed-type floating-seedling system and conventional floating-seedling system was carried out in this study. The results showed that the intensive closed-type floating system could shorten significantly the nursery period; enhance the growth of tobacco seedlings;improve significantly the appearance of agronomic traits, such as number of leaves, stem height, stem diameter, fresh weight of leaves, etc; increase slightly the chloro-phyl content in seedlings. However, the root fresh weight and root vigor of seedlings nursed with the intensive closed-type float system were lower than that of seedlings nursed with the conventional float system. The effects of O3 ... Ultrasonic airlift loop reactor (UALR) shows potential and wide application for wastewater treatment. In this paper the performance and efficiency of UALR in dimethoate degradation were presented. The effects of O3 flow rate, ultrasonic intensity and initial concentration of dimethoate on degradation rate were investigated. UALR imposed a synergistic effect combining sonochemical merit with high O3 transfer rate. The results showed that UALR not only increased degradation rate, but also was better than the simole sum of degradation by O3 and ultrasound separately. Under the operation conditions of O3 flow of 0.34 m^3·h^-1, ultrasonic intensity 3.71 W.cm^-2, and initial concentration of dimethoate at 20 mg·L^- 1, the degradation rate of dimethoate increased to 80%. UALR seems an advisable choice for treating organic wastewater and this process may have wide application prospect in industry. 展开更多

The World Health Organization (WHO) standard assay for determining levels of the rabies virus neutralization antibody (RVNA) is the rapid fluorescent focus inhibition test (RFFIT), which is used to evaluate the immunity effect after vaccination against rabies. For RFFIT, CVS-11 was used as the challenge virus, BSR cells as the adapted cells, and WHO rabies immunoglobulin (WHO STD) as the reference serum in this study. With reference to WHO and Pasteur RFFIT procedures, a micro-RFFIT procedure adapted to our laboratory was produced, and its specificity and reproducibility were tested. We tested levels of RVNA in human serum samples after immunization with different human rabies vaccines (domestic purified Vero cell rabies vaccine (PVRV) and imported purified chick embryo cell vaccine (PCECV)) using different regimens (Zagreb regimen and Essen regimen). We analyzed the levels of RVNA, and compared the immune efficacy of domestic PVRV and imported PCECV using different immunization regimens. The results showed that the immune efficacy of domestic PVRV using the Zagreb regimen was as good as that of the imported PCECV, but virus antibodies were generated more rapidly with the Zagreb regimen than with the Essen regimen. The RFFIT procedure established in our laboratory will enhance the comprehensive detection ability of institutions involved in rabies surveillance in China. 展开更多

With the fertilizer applied, rice yield can be improved by 292.5-505.5 kg/hm2, with increase of 6.63%-10.92%; farmer’s incomes can be enhanced by 877.5-1 516.5 yuan/hm2, with net income growth of 783-1 422 yuan; output-to-input rate kept in 8.29-15.05. The increased rice yield is mainly contributed by the in-creases of setting percentage and thousand-seed weight, of which the former's role is more significant. The patient got partial response (PR) for 3 years after the application of Endostar maintenance therapy and Endostar combined with taxane-based chemotherapy. During the period of using Endostar as monotherapy, the patient got long-term disease control and good quality of life. There was no drug related adverse event during the therapy of Endostar. Suggested continued using of Endostar combined with chemotherapy could achieve an convinced therapeutic effect. Then using Endostar as maintenance treatment after patient got the optimal efficacy was feasible and profitable. This treatment strategy of long-term administration of Endostar was worthy of further observation, to explore the feasibility for long-term administration of combined with chemotherapy in the treatment of hemangioendothelioma of bone accompanying pulmonary metastasis. 展开更多

The effects of the microwave power on the formation and physical properties of the Zn2SnO4 particles are discussed. The products were characterized by X-ray diffraction, atomic force microscopy, infrared spectroscopy, and N2 adsorption. The results indicated that the microwave power had important influence on the formation of the spinel phase. The results also revealed that the physical properties of Zn2SnO4 particles did not change with the increase of the microwave power above 600 W, with 20 min of reaction time. Furthermore, the photocatalytic activity of the Zn2SnO4 particles for the phenol degradation under sunlight was also investigated. 展开更多
