Detachment size determination with an acoustic method has been carried out for two interacting bubble plumes formed at neighboring needles in quiescent water. Two sets of needle pairs, one with 1.5mm and 0.8mm inner diameters and the other with the equal 1.5mm inner diameters, were separately used as the bubble pair injectors in the experiments. Consequently, four typical patterns of bubble plumes interaction could be observed in the two cases of needle pair matches. Through measuring the pressure pulses radiated by the bubble pairs immediately after their 'pinching-off ' and by making use of a sophisticated relation between oscillation frequency of volume mode and radius of gas bubble, the detachment size of the bubble plumes have been determined from the amplitude/frequency spectrum of the sound pressure pulses. The experimental results demonstrate that the acoustical method is valid in both of the interacting and non-interacting circumstances in bubble field and the bubble size measurements by this acoustical method agree well with the measurements from photographic analysis. Finally, a comparison has been made on the strong and weak points of the acoustical method with the other size determination methods. 展开更多

Effectiveness and safety of Shenmai injection in treatment of shock:a Meta-analysis 被引量:4

OBJECTIVE:To evaluate the effectiveness and safety of Shenmai injection for shock.METHODS: Randomized controlled trials(RCTs)that evaluated the therapeutic effect of Shenmai injection on shock(including septic shock, cardiogenic shock, hypovolemic shock, neurogenic shock and anaphylactic shock) were included in this analysis. The major electronic databases were searched until May 2015. The methodological quality of the trials was assessed according to the Cochrane Handbook. Review Manager 5.3 and Stata 12.0 software were applied for data analysis.RESULTS: Thirty RCTs involving 2038 participants were included. The methodological quality of the trials was generally passable. The combined use of Shenmai injection and conventional medicine was significantly more effective at managing shock compared to conventional medicine alone in the outcomes of total effective rate [risk ratio(RR 1.25,95% confidence interval(CI) 1.18 to 1.31] and mortality rate [risk difference(RD)-0.10, 95% CI-0.17 to-0.02]. Likewise, improvements were observed in other metrics. Three trials reported adverse events, but no trial reported serious adverse effects.CONCLUSION: Our results indicated the potential effectiveness of Shenmai injection combined with conventional medicine treatment for shock. However, further rigorously designed trials are needed to collect and weigh up all the evidence for the use of Shenmai injection. 展开更多

In this paper it is assumed that a job incurs no penalty as long as it is completed within the common due window. It is the first time for the due window scheduling to be extended to this situation so that jobs can be processed in batches. An unbounded version of batch scheduling is also considered. Hence, jobs, no matter how many there are, can be processed in a batch once the machine is free. For two cases that the location of due window is either a decision variable or a given parameter, polynomial algorithms are proposed based on several optimal properties. 展开更多

The uneven deposition of lithium(Li) on current collectors causes serious dendrite growth and volume expansion. Commercial foamed copper(Cu) current collectors are unsuitable for Li anodes because of their large volume and mass and lithiophobic nature. Herein, a three-dimensional(3 D) copper@tin(Cu@Sn) nanocone current collector with small volume, light weight, and lithiophilic nature was prepared by a simple electrodeposition method. The synergy of the nanoconical structure and lithiophilic Sn promotes the even deposition of Li and effectively inhibits the formation of Li dendrites. The resultant half batteries exhibit high Coulombic efficiency of 97.6% after 100 cycles at 1 mA cm^(-2), and the symmetrical Li battery demonstrates a prolonged lifespan of over 600 h at 1 mA cm^(-2). The full battery based on organic liquid electrolyte with LiFePO_(4) also exhibits a long lifespan of 550 cycles with high capacity retention of 95.1% at 1 C.Moreover, 3 D Cu@Sn nanocone-based solid-state batteries exhibit excellent electrochemical performance and show no decay after 500 cycles at 1 C. Our work provides a strategy for fabricating 3 D current collectors for high-energy-density Li metal batteries. 展开更多

An isoratio method is proposed to study the chemical potential of neutrons(protons) from the yield ratio of isotopes(isotones) differing in neutron-excess(I = N- Z). The measured fragments in the 140 A MeV ^(40),^(48) Ca and^(58),^(64) Ni +~9Be reactions, as well as those in the simulated^(58),^(64) Ni +~9Be reactions by using the antisymmetric molecular dynamics(AMD) model plus the secondary decay model gemini, have been adopted to perform the isoratio analysis.The results of the isoratio method verify that they are similar to that of the well known isoscaling method. The isoratio scaling phenomenon suggested by the isoratio method has also been found in the measured data and the fragments simulated by the AMD + gemini models. 展开更多
