The thickness of strata in the hanging wall of the growth fault is obviously larger than that in the footwall, and a deposition center was evolved in the Taibei sag where the hanging wall of the fault is located. In late Jurassic the collision between Lhasa block and Eurasia continent resulted in the transformation of the Turpan-Hami basin from an extensional structure into a compressional structure, and consequently in the tectonic inversion of the central structure belt of the Turpan-Hami basin from the extensional normal fault in the earlier stage to the compressive thrust fault in the later stage. The Tertiary collision between the Indian plate and the Eurasian plate occurred around 55Ma, and this Himalayan orogenic event has played a profound role in shaping the Tianshan area, only the effect of the collision to this area was delayed since it culminated here approximately in late Oligocene-early Miocene. The central structure belt was strongly deformed and thrusted above the ground as a result of this tectonic event.展开更多

A lot of low angle extension detachment faults have been developed in Dinggye area and some of them make up the main body of the South Tibet Detachment System. On the whole, the extension direction of all the detachment faults is perpendicular to the strike of the Himalayan Orogen. Each detachment fault has its distinct characteristics. Mylonite was extensively developed in the detachment faults and can be divided into a variety of types such as siliceous mylonite, felsic mylonite, granite mylonite, protomylonite, crystallization mylonite and so on. On the basis of our field survey works, these detachment faults can be classified according to their locations into three units listed as follows: (1) In the northern part of the study area, the detachment faults occur on large scale and in orbicular shape, and form the middle layer of the metamorphic core complexes. (2) In the southern part of the study area, the detachment faults occur in linear shape that is parallel to the Himalayan Orogen and has a stable attitude, and have undergone two phases of development. In the first phase, the Rouqiechun Group rocks were formed and make up the hanging wall, while in the second phase the Jiachun Group rocks were formed and make up the hanging wall. (3) In the southeastern part of the study area, the detachment faults strike nearly along southeast direction in a stable way and some of these detachment faults were distorted by the late-formed faults and folds. Furthermore, in the southwestern part of the study area, the ductile shear zones are parallel to the detachment faults.展开更多

The cracking be- havior of the coating was evaluated using Gleeble 3500, a thermo-mechanical simulator under uniaxial plastic deformation at elevated temperatures. The extent and number of cracks developed in the coating were carefully assessed through an optical microscope. The coating layer under hot-dipped condition consists of an Al-Si eutectic matrix, Fe2Al7Si, Fe3Al2Si3 and Fe2Al5, from the coating surface to the steel substrate. The coating layer remains dense, continuous and smooth. During austenitization, the Al-rich Fe-Al intermetallics in the coating transform to more Fe-rich intermetallics, promoted by the Fe diffusion process. The coating finally shows the coexistence of two types of Fe-Al intermetallics, namely, FeAl2 and FeAl. Microcracks and Kirkendall voids occur in the coating layer and diffusion zone, respectively. The coating is heavily cracked and broken into segments during the hot tensile tests. Bare steel exposed between the separate segments of the coating is oxidized and covered with a thin FeOx layer. The appearance of the oxide decreases the adhesion of the Al-Si coating. It is found that the ductile FeAl is preferred as a coating microstructure instead of the brittle FeAl2. Therefore, the ductility of the Al-Si coating on hot stamping boron steer could be enhanced by controlling the ductile Fe-rich intermetallic phase transformations within it during austenitization. Experiments indicate that a higher austenitizing temperature or longer dwell time facilitate the Fe-rich inter- metallics transformation, increasing the volume fraction of FeAl. This phase transformation also contributes to reducing the crack density and depth.展开更多

An interesting question to address is how general and robust this interface superconductivity is. In the past, the cuprate bilayers were grown in a unique atomic-layer molecular beam epitaxy system, with a Sr doping range of x≤0.47, and the atomically flat interface was thought to be indispensable. Here, we have fabricated bilayers of La2CuO4 and La2-xSrxCuO4 by pulsed laser deposition. We have tried to extend the nominal doping range of Sr from the previous maximum of 0.47 to the present1.70(the nominal Sr content in the targets). X-ray diffraction result indicates that our La2-xSrxCuO4 films with x≤0.60 have very high crystalline quality;but the film crystalline structure degrades gradually with further increasing x, and finally the structure is fully lost when x reaches 1.40 and higher. Although the film quality scatters dramatically, our experiments show that there exists superconductivity for bilayers in nearly the entire over-doped Sr range, except for a non-superconducting region at x^0.80. These observations demonstrate that the interface superconductivity in copper oxides is very general and robust.展开更多
