This work presents a process variation based stochastic model and proposes an effective analytical method to estimate interconnect delay. The technique decouples the stochastic interconnect segments by an improved decoupling method. Combined with a polynomial chaos expression (PCE), this paper applies the stochastic Galerkin method (SGM) to analyze the system response. A finite representation of interconnect delay is then obtained with the complex approximation method and the bisection method. Results from the analysis match well with those from SPICE. Moreover, the method shows good computational efficiency, as the running time is much less than the SPICE simulation's.展开更多

The analytic relationship between the powers and the correlation matrix of multipath components established the feasibility of the application of the MDL criterion to RDS estimation. The estimator presented both the estimate of instantaneous RDS and the estimates of noise variance, channel power and SNR of current channel with low computational complexity. Given the powers of the estimated multipath components, the MDL criterion was adopted to acquire the number of paths and the time delays of each path of current channel without making eigendecomposition of the correlation matrix normally required by MDL criterion, following which the noise variance and the power of each path can be estimated. The power delay profile (PDP) and RDS of the current channel were achieved. Simulation results showed that the proposed estimator was insensitive to variance of SNR and robust against frequency-selectivity.展开更多

By approximating the time-delay term of the process model with the first-order Taylor series, the expressions for IMC-PID controller parameters were derived, and they had only one adjustable parameter 2 which was directly related to the dynamic performance and robustness of the system. Moreover, an analytical approach of selecting 2 was given based on the maximum sensitivity Ms. Then, the robust tuning of the system could be achieved according to the value of Ms. In addition, the proposed method could be extended to the integrator plus time-delay (IPTD) process and the first order delay integrating (FODI) process. Simulation studies were carried out on various processes with time-delay, and the results show that the proposed method could provide a better dynamic performance of both the set-point tracking and disturbance rejection and robustness against parameters perturbation.展开更多

First, the embedding dimension and the delay time were obtained through this method, then the phase space was reconstructed to resume the chaotie attractor and determine the LLE. The result shows that the trajectory of attractor is denser than Chen's attractor, and the LLE is positive, which means that not only the signal has the character of chaos, but also the chaotic degree of masseter EMG is relatively high. According to the value of the LLE, the chaotic degree of men's masseter EMG is higher than that of women's; when the dentition is normal, the chaotic degree of two sides is almost the same. These substances are important in biofilm formation and some of them can be used as corrosion inhibitor of concrete reinforcement. This paper deals with products made with biological surface active compounds/agents allowing the development of more eco-friendly concrete. The influence of this environmentally friendly bio admixture on setting time, workability, bending and compressive strengths of various mortar based materials made of CEM I, CEM III and CEM V was studied. Mechanical tests were carried out to highlight the influence of admixture in workability and hardening of samples containing the biological product with ratio in the range of 0-2.5%. It was demonstrated that the presence of the new bio-compound admixture in mortar decreases their compressive strength after 28 days of standard curing, in spite of remaining higher than standard minimal strength. Furthermore, Vicat needle experiments have shown a tendency of this admixture to decrease the setting time. A discussion was finally proposed in order to correlate the setting times and the decrease of the mortar compressive strength, corresponding in fact to a hardening delay. This setting time delay could be linked to a delay of the admixtured mortar to increase its resistance. The slump results highlight the action of bio-admixture as a plasticizer on mortars because it increases their workability for a same water-cement ratio. This effect seems variable according to the added amount.展开更多

By analyzing shear wave particle motion of local events in the shear wave window, the fast polarization directions and the delay time between fast and slow shear waves were derived from seismic recordings at eight stations on the southern segment of the Longmenshan fault zone. In the study region, the fast polarization directions show partition characteristics from south to north. And the systematic changes of the time delays between two split shear waves were also observed. As for spatial distribution, the NE fast polarization directions are consistent with the Longmenshan fault strike in the south of focal region, whereas the NW fast direction is parallel to the direction of regional principal compressive stress in the north of focal region. Stations BAX and TQU are respectively located on the Central and Front-range faults, and because of the direct influence of these faults, the fast directions at both stations show particularity. In time domain, after the main shock, the delay times at stations increased rapidly, and decreased after a period of time. Shear-wave splitting was caused mostly by stress-aligned microcracks in rock below the stations. The results demonstrate changes of local stress field during the main shock and the aftershocks. The stress on the Lushan Ms7.0 earthquake region increased after the main shock, with the stress release caused by the aftershocks and the stress reduced in the late stage.展开更多

The time-periodic dynamics of the milling process taking the regenerative effect into account is formulated as a delayed differential equation with time-periodic coefficients, and then reformulated as a form of integral equation. On the basis of one tooth period being divided into a series of subintervals, the barycentric Lagrange interpolation polynomials are employed to approximate the state term and the delay term in the integral equation, respectively, while the Gaussian quadrature method is utilized to approximate the integral tenn. Thereafter, the Floquet transition matrix within the tooth period is constructed to predict the chatter stability according to Floquet theory. Experimental-validated one-degree-of-freedom and two-degree-of-freedom milling examples are used to verify the proposed algorithm, and compared with existing algorithms, it has the advantages of high rate of convergence and high computational efficiency.展开更多

文摘Based on the polarization analysis of teleseismic data,SKS (SKKS) fast-wave directions and delay times between fast and slow shear waves were determined for each of the 111 seismic stations from both permanent and temporary broadband seismograph networks deployed in the Ordos Block and its margins. Both the Silver and Chan and stacking analysis methods were used.In this way,an image of upper mantle anisotropy in the Ordos Block and its margins was acquired. In the western and northern margins of the Ordos Block, the fast-wave directions are consistently NW-SE.The fast-wave directions are mainly NWW-SEE and EW in the southern margin of the Ordos Block. In the eastern margin of the Ordos Block, the fast-wave directions are generally EW,although some run NEE-SWW or NWW-SEE.In the Ordos Block, the fast-wave directions trend near N-S in the north, but switch to near EW in the south. The delay time between fast and slow waves falls into the interval 0.48-1.50 s,and the average delay time at the stations in the Ordos Block is less than that in its margins. We suggest that the anisotropy of the stable Ordos Block is mainly caused by "fossil" anisotropy frozen in the ancient North China Craton. The NE-trending push of the northeastern margin of the Tibetan Plateau has caused NW-SE-trending lithospheric extension in the western and northern margins of the Ordos Block, and made the upper mantle flow southeastwards. This in turn has resulted in the alignment of the upper mantle peridotite lattice with the direction of material deformation. In the southern margin of the Ordos Block, the collision between the North China and Yangtze blocks resulted in the fast-wave direction running parallel to the collision boundary and the Qinling Orogen.Combining this with the APM and velocity structure of the Qinling Orogen,we propose that eastward-directed asthenospheric-mantle channel flow may have occurred beneath the Qinling Orogen. In the eastern margin of the Ordos Block, the complex anisotropic characteristics of the Fenhe Graben and Taihang Orogen may be caused by the interaction of western Pacific Plate subduction, regional extensional tectonics, and the orogeny. For station YCI,the apparent splitting parameters (the fast-wave directions range from 45° to 106° and the delay times range from 0.6 to 1.5 s) exhibit systematic variations as a function of incoming polarization with a periodicity of π/2.This variation can be best explained by a two-layer anisotropic model (φlower=132°,δtlower=0.8 s,φupper=83°,δtupper=0.5 s).The upper layer anisotropy beneath station YCI can again be attributed to "fossil" anisotropy frozen in the ancient North China Craton. The lower layer anisotropy is affected by the tectonic activity of the western Ordos Block. The NW-SE trending extension caused by the NE trending push of the northeastern margin of the Tibetan Plateau affected the deformation of the lower anisotropic layer beneath station YCI.By comparing the fast-wave directions with GPS velocity directions,we see that the crust and upper mantle possibly have vertically coherent deformation in the margins of the Ordos Block, whereas the internal deformation characteristics of the Ordos Block are complex and require further study.

文摘This paper focuses on the development of an efficient semi-analytical solution of chatter stability in milling based on the spectral method for integral equations. Experimental-validated one-degree-of-freedom and two-degree-of-freedom milling examples are used to verify the proposed algorithm, and compared with existing algorithms, it has the advantages of high rate of convergence and high computational efficiency.
