提高毫秒电雷管延时稳定性的一种途径

Small signal instability may cause severe accidents for power system if it can not be dear correctly and timely. How to maintain power system stable under small signal disturbance is a big challenge for power system operators and dispatchers. Time delay existing in signal transmission process makes the problem more complex. Conventional eigenvalue analysis method neglects time delay influence and can not precisely describe power system dynamic behaviors. In this work, a modified small signal stability model considering time varying delay influence was constructed and a new time delay controller was proposed to stabilize power system under disturbance. By Lyapunov-Krasovskii function, the control law in the form of nonlinear matrix inequality (NLMI) was derived. Considering synthesis method limitation for time delay controller at present, both parameter adjustment method by using linear matrix inequality (LMI) solver and iteration searching method by solving nonlinear minimization problem were suggested to design the controller. Simulation tests were carried out on synchronous-machine infinite-bus power system. Satisfactory test results verify the correctness of the proposed model and the feasibility of the stabilization approach. 展开更多

PID Controller Stabilization for First-order Integral Processes with Time Delay

Due to the widespread application of the PID controller in industrial control systems, it is desirable to know the complete set of all the stabilizing PID controllers for a given plant before the controller design and tuning. In this paper, the stabilization problems of the classical proportionalintegral-derivative (PID) controller and the singleparameter PID controller (containing only one adjustable parameter) for integral processes with time delay are investigated, respectively. The complete set of stabilizing parameters of the classical PID controller is determined using a version of the Hermite-Biehler Theorem applicable to quasipolynomials. Since the stabilization problem of the singie-parameter PID controller cannot be treated by the Hermite-Biehler Theorem, a simple method called duallocus diagram is employed to derive the stabilizing range of the single-parameter PID controller. These results provide insight into the tuning of the PID controllers. 展开更多

In this paper, the global asymptotic stability analysis problem is considered for a class of stochastic high-order neural networks with tin.delays. Based on a Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional and the stochastic stability analysis theory, several sufficient conditions are derived in order to guarantee the global asymptotic convergence of the equilibtium paint in the mean square. Investigation shows that the addressed stochastic highorder delayed neural networks are globally asymptotically stable in the mean square if there are solutions to some linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). Hence, the global asymptotic stability of the studied stochastic high-order delayed neural networks can be easily checked by the Matlab LMI toolbox. A numerical example is given to demonstrate the usefulness of the proposed global stability criteria. 展开更多

The robust guaranteed cost sampled-data control was studied for a class of uncertain nonlinear systems with time-varying delay. The parameter uncertainties are time-varying norm-bounded and appear in both the state and the input control matrices. By applying an input delay approach, the system was transformed into a continuous time-delay system. Attention was focused on the design of a robust guaranteed cost sampled-data control law which guarantees that the closed-loop system is asymptotically stable and the quadratic performance index is less than a certain bound for all admissible uncertainties. By applying Lyapunov stability theory, the theorems were derived to provide sufficient conditions for the existence of robust guaranteed cost sampled-data control law in the form of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs), especially an optimal state-feedback guaranteed cost sampled-data control law which ensures the minimization of the guaranteed cost was given. The effectiveness of the proposed method was illustrated by a simulation example with the asymptotically stable curves of system state under the initial condition of x(0)=[0.679 6 0]. 展开更多

The stability and stabilization of a class of nonlinear discrete time delayed systems(NDTDS) with time-varying delay and norm-bounded nonlinearity are investigated. Based on discrete time Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional method, a sufficient delaydependent condition for asymptotic stability of nonlinear systems is offered. Then, this condition is used to design a new efficient delayed state feedback controller(DSFC) for stabilization of such systems. These conditions are in the linear matrix inequality(LMI) framework. Illustrative examples confirm the improvement of the proposed approach over the similar cases. Furthermore, the obtained stability and stabilization conditions will be extended to uncertain discrete time delayed systems(UDTDS) with polytopic parameter uncertainties and also with norm-bounded parameter uncertainties. 展开更多

Delay differential systems are widely used in many different fields, It is important to determine the local stability of their equilibria, For systems with' delay dependent parameters, the stability analysis of equilibria is complicated and difficult In this paper, we shall investigate the ultimate stability of a type of characteristic equation with delay dependent parameters. Our results show that the characteristic equation with delay dependent parameters may be one of ultimately stable, ultimately unstable, and alternate between stable and unstable. Applying our results, the ultimate stability can be often decided directly and need not appeal to mathematic software. Two examples are given in this paper, 展开更多

A v-dissipative inequality is established by using a proper control law and a storage function. Then based on the Razumikhin stability theorem, a sufficient condition is proposed for the asymptotically stability of the closed-loop system. Finally, the authors investigate the case that there are time-invariant uncertainties belonging to some convex bounded polytypic domain and an L2 disturbance attenuation control law is proposed. Study of illustrative example with simulation shows that the presented method in this paper works very well in the disturbance attenuation of time-delay Hamiltonian systems. 展开更多

In some cases, the stability of a periodic solution holds if the rightmost characteristic root has negative real part. Based on the Lambert W function, this paper presents a simple algorithm for locating the rightmost characteristic root of periodic solutions of some nonlinear oscillators with large time delay. As application, the proposed algorithm is used to study the primary resonance and 1/3 subharmonic resonance of the Duffing oscillator under harmonic excitation and delayed feedback, as well as the control problem of the van der Pol oscillator under harmonic excitation by using delayed feedback, with a number of case studies. The main advantage of this algorithm is that though very simple in implementation, it works effectively with high accuracy even if the delay is large. 展开更多

The emergence of any new infectious disease poses much stress on the government to control the spread of such disease. The easy, fast and less expensive way to slow down the spread of disease is to make the population be aware of its spread and possible control mechanisms. For this purpose, government allocates some funds to make public aware through mass media, print media, pamphlets, etc. Keeping this in view, in this paper, a nonlinear mathematical model is proposed and analyzed to assess the effect of time delay in providing funds by the government to warn people. It is assumed that suscep- tible individuals contract infection through the direct contact with infected individuals; however the rate of contracting infection is a decreasing function of funds availability. The proposed model is analyzed using stability theory of delay differential equations and numerical simulations. The model analysis shows that the increase in funds to warn people reduces the number of infected individuals but delay in providing the funds desta- bilizes the interior equilibrium and may cause stability switches. 展开更多
