Investigation of Prevalence Rate of Acute Severe Altitude Diseaseof Construction Groups at High Altitude 被引量:1

Objective: To know the prevalence rate of the acute severe altitude disease of the crowds who are working on the high altitude and the influential foctors upon the people. Method By epidemiology,a survey of 27606 persons who are working on the plateau has been made in the past three years,of which 229 persons had got the disease. 8175 persons who had received finer basic preventions in the group (Group A), has been compared with 19430 persons who had a weak or no basic provention in the group (Group B); the groups working on the plateau with 3 different elevations of above~3600, ~4600 & 5072 meters sea level have been compared. Resuts: The prevalence rate is 0.83% in total groaps, of wich, high altitude pulmonary edema is 0.50%, high altitude cerebral edema is 0.28%, the patients who has got both the above diseases is 0.05%. The prevalance rates of the above in Group B and those of higher elevation are higher than those in Group A. 0.32% in Group A, and 1.04% in Group B.(x2=36.95, p<0.001);the prevalence rate on the 3 different high elevations are 0.00%, 0.68% and 1.34% in proper order. The prevalence rate of individuals groups in the highest 4.82%(the first year) and 2.26% (the next year ) and all the diseases came on the groups working on the highest elevation areas. Conclusion: The prevalence rate of acute severe plateau disease is very stern, the main influential factors are the height above the sea level, and the level of basic prvention for the crowds. Enhancing the protection of the labourers and medical safeguard, and social psychological adaption can cut down the prevalence rate, and this is the first important problem to solve for the plateau medicine and support from the society. 展开更多

Effect of Factors on Physiology Acclimatization of Construction Groups Entering Again into Plateau in Early Days

Purpose: To find out the relationship between duration of break, gender, age and the early physical conditions of the people who go to the Plateau again after the break. Means: The pre-work physical inspection data of 2528 people,who participated the construction on the Plateau (altitude 3080 m) during 2002-2004, and then returned during 2003-2005, were studied. Before the inspections, these people had been on the Plateau for 7~15 days to get them adaptable to the altitude conditions. These people were divided randomly into Long Break Group (break time≥90 d, n=984) and Short Break Group (break time ≤60 d, n=1544). Then they were divided into sub-Groups based on gender and age. Statistical analysis was then done using SPSS 12.0 software. Results: (1)The means of sBP,dBP,HR, and Hb of the Long Break Group, after 7~15 days of adaptability period, were lower than that of Short Break Group; while SpO2 of Long Break Group was slightly higher than that of Short Break Group.(Mean p≤0.001;The abnormal rates of ALT,BUN, BP of the Long Break Group were also significantly lower than that of Short Break Group (p<0.05, or p<0.001;(2)In the same group, or different groups, the BP,Hb of female sub-Group was better than male sub-Group(p<0.05, or p<0.001. The BP,ECG of <40 y sub-Group is better than ≥40 y sub-Group(p<0.05 or, p<0.001. Conclusion: 3-month, or even longer break in winter has positive impacts on the early physical conditions of the constructors on the Plateau (esp. males over 40 years old) 展开更多

The symptoms were markedly improved, and serum ALT and bilirubin were recovered and kept normal in most of the cases. The mean levels of serum hyaluronic acid, procollagen peptide III and circulating immune complex were decreased and returned to normal after the treatment. B-ultrasonography showed that the portal vein kept in normal size in 82% of the patients, the enlarged portal vein diminished in diameter, and the enlarged spleen reduced. 展开更多

In typical Wi-Fi based indoor positioning systems employing fingerprint model,plentiful fingerprints need to be trained by trained experts or technician,which extends labor costs and restricts their promotion.In this paper,a novel approach based on crowd paths to solve this problem is presented,which collects and constructs automatically fingerprints database for anonymous buildings through common crowd customers.However,the accuracy degradation problem may be introduced as crowd customers are not professional trained and equipped.Therefore,we define two concepts:fixed landmark and hint landmark,to rectify the fingerprint database in the practical system,in which common corridor crossing points serve as fixed landmark and cross point among different crowd paths serve as hint landmark.Machinelearning techniques are utilized for short range approximation around fixed landmarks and fuzzy logic decision technology is applied for searching hint landmarks in crowd traces space.Besides,the particle filter algorithm is also introduced to smooth the sample points in crowd paths.We implemented the approach on off-the-shelf smartphones and evaluate the performance.Experimental results indicate that the approach can availably construct WiFi fingerprint database without reduce the localization accuracy. 展开更多

The field test of a typical Tibetan ancient structure instrumented with displacement and acceleration transducers was conducted to measure time histories due to crowd walking and running. The test case is introduced firstly. The displacement time histories are then used to analyze the dynamic property such as fundamental frequency of vertical vibration and damping ratio of the test structure, and the acceleration time histories are applied to evaluate the floor vibration serviceability. The floor interaction and comparison of human walking and running are also discussed. Some valuable conclusions are given. 展开更多

Human flap endonuclease 1 (FEN1) is a structure-specific, multi-functional endonuclease essential for DNA replication and repair. We and others have shown that during DNA replication, FEN1 processes Okazaki fragments via its interaction with the proliferating cell nuclear antigen (PCNA). Alternatively, in response to DNA damage, FEN1 interacts with the PCNA-like Radg-Radl-Husl complex instead of PCNA to engage in DNA repair activities, such as homology-directed repair of stalled DNA replication forks. However, it is unclear how FEN1 is able to switch between these interactions and its roles in DNA replication and DNA repair. Here, we report that FEN1 undergoes SUMOylation by SUMO-1 in response to DNA replication fork-staUing agents, such as UV irradiation, hydroxyurea, and mitomycin C. This DNA damage-induced SUMO-1 modification promotes the interaction of FEN1 with the Radg-Rad1-Husl complex. Furthermore, we found that FEN1 mutations that prevent its SUMO-1 modification also impair its ability to interact with HUS1 and to rescue stalled replication forks. These impairments lead to the accumulation of DNA damage and heightened sensitivity to fork-staUing agents. Altogether, our findings suggest an important role of the SUMO-1 modification of FEN1 in regulating its roles in DNA replication and repair. 展开更多

Gene flow and demographic history can play important roles in the adaptive genetic differentiation of species, which is rarely understood in the high-altitude adaptive evolution of birds. To elucidate genetic divergence of populations in the great tit complex (Parus major, P. minor and P. cinereus) at different elevations, we compared the genetic structure and gene flow in hemoglobin genes with neutral loci. Our results revealed the elevationally divergent structure of αA-globin gene, distinctive from that of the/βA-globin gene and neutral loci. We further investigated gene flow patterns among the populations in the central-northern (〉 1,000 m a.s.l.), south-eastern (〈 1,000 m a.s.l.) regions and the Southwest Mountains (〉2,000 m a.s.l.) in China. The high-altitude (〉 1,000 m a.s.l.) diverged aA-globin genetic structure coincidαed with higher αA-globin gene flow between highland populations, in contrast to restricted neutral gene flow concordant with the phylogeny. The higher aA-globin gene flow suggests the possibility of adaptive evolution during population divergence, contrary to the lower aA-globin gene flow homogenized by neutral loci during population expantion. In concordance with patterns of historical gene flow, genotypic and allelic profiles provide distinctive patterns of fixation in different high-altitude populations. The fixation of alleles at contrasting elevations may primarily due to highland standing variants aA49Asn/72Asn/108Ala originating from the south-western population. Our findings demonstrate a pattern of genetic divergence with gene flow in major hemoglobin genes depending on population demographic history. 展开更多

In this work,efficient green electroluminescent(EL)devices with simplified device structure were prepared by doping trivalent terbium complex Tb(PMIP)3into hole block material Tm Py PB.The high triplet energy of Tm Py PB helps to confine excitons within light-emitting layer,while the electron transport characteristic of Tm Py PB facilitates the balance of carriers on Tb(PMIP)a3molecules.By optimizing the doping concentration of Tb(PMIP)a3and the thickness of each functional layer,highly efficient green EL device with the structure of ITO/Mo Oa3(3 nm)/TAPC(50 nm)/Tb(PMIP)a3(30 wt%):Tm Py PB(25 nm)/Tm Py PB(60 nm)/Li F(1 nm)/Al(100 nm)displayed pure Tb^3+ characteristic emission with maximum current efficiency,power efficiency and brightness up to 47.24 cd/A(external quantum efficiency(EQE)of 14.4%),43.63 lm/W and 1694 cd/m^2,respectively.At certain brightness of 100 cd/m^2,the device still maintained a current efficiency of 19.96 cd/A(EQE=6.1%).Such a device design strategy helps to improve the EL performances of Tb(PMIP)a3and to simplify device fabrication processes,thus reduce the fabrication cost. 展开更多
