In consideration that behavior of curvature ductility of interior support directly influences the degree of moment modification of unbonded prestressed concrete (UPC) continuous structures, constitutive relationships of concrete, non-prestressed reinforcement and prestressed reinforcement used for nonlinear analysis are given. Through simulation analysis on simple beams subjected to single loading at the middle of the span, the law of factors influencing curvature ductility, such as global reinforcing index, prestressing degree, effective prestress, strength of concrete and grade of non-prestressed reinforcement are explored. Based on these researches, calculating formula of curvature ductility coefficient of UPC beams is established, which provides basic data for further research on plastic design of UPC indeterminate structures. 展开更多

In anti-seismic calculation, the mode truncation is a significant problem to engineers if the mode-superposition response spectrum method is used, which has not been completely solved yet in some large and complex structures such as reticulated domes. In this case, some useful advices, concentrating on the problem above, are expected through a careful and comprehensive investigation of this paper. During the investigation, the authors first point out shortcomings of former researches. Then frequency-spectrum characteristics of single-layered reticulated domes were studied from the perspective of structural responses. During this process, some important results such as the existence of the main resonant section, and the fact that the relative sensitivity of these domes under horizontal and vertical impulse varies with the different R/S ratios were achieved. Furthermore, based on the study of frequency-spectrum characteristics, as well as that of earthquake input, reasonable numbers of mode truncation in single layered reticulated domes with different R/S ratio were presented. Results of case studies prove the mode truncation number proposed is valid. 展开更多

Location of the heavily loaded building on the ground of the small load capacity requires application of the appropriate foundation structure. The required foundation system is most often deep, it is expensive and its cost increases significantly when the building is located in earthquake area or in mining damage sector. The proposed structural system of the combined foundation makes possible to design and to construct a very stable and relative inexpensive foundation structure, which can obtain an extremely large horizontal surface and which can be placed not deeply beneath the terrain level. It can be a very solid support structure for a tall building placed on very weak subsoil and at the same time located in seismic area. This system can be applied not only for new buildings but it can be used for the existing buildings and moreover for straighten of the inclined objects. Due to special arrangement of component parts the combined foundation possesses inherent features of a vibration damper, what is highly desirable if buildings have to be located in earthquake areas. When the aboveground storeys structure has some similar patterns with structural form of the combined foundation then the structural system of the whole building obtains coherent structural characteristics and it is called the combined structural system of the tall building. Suitable application of this system makes possible to design high-rise buildings having interesting and unique architectonic forms, what is presented on a selected example. 展开更多

SS-SERA:An improved framework for architectural level soft error reliability analysis 被引量:2

Integrated with an improved architectural vulnerability factor (AVF) computing model, a new architectural level soft error reliability analysis framework, SS-SERA (soft error reliability analysis based on SimpleScalar), was developed. SS-SERA was used to estimate the AVFs for various on-chip structures accurately. Experimental results show that the AVFs of issue queue (IQ), register update units (RUU), load store queue (LSQ) and functional unit (FU) are 38.11%, 22.17%, 23.05% and 24.43%, respectively. For address-based structures, i.e., levell data cache (LID), DTLB, level2 unified cache (L2U), levell instruction cache (LII) and ITLB, AVFs of their data arrays are 22.86%, 27.57%, 14.80%, 8.25% and 12.58%, lower than their tag arrays' AVFs which are 30.01%, 28.89%, 17.69%, 10.26% and 13.84%, respectively. Furthermore, using the AVF values obtained with SS-SERA, a qualitative and quantitative analysis of the AVF variation and predictability was performed for the structures studied. Experimental results show that the AVF exhibits significant variations across different structures and workloads, and is influenced by multiple microarchitectural metrics and their interactions. Besides, AVFs of SPEC2K floating point programs exhibit better predictability than SPEC2K integer programs. 展开更多

建筑钢架构的阻燃性能要求较高,为此研究了建筑钢架构用聚氨酯胶粘剂的阻燃性能。将不同聚氨酯丙烯酸酯预聚体、多种有机阻燃剂、无机填料氢氧化铝以及纳米氧化锌等作为主要原料,将其以不同添加量混合,实现建筑钢架构用聚氨酯胶粘剂的制... 建筑钢架构的阻燃性能要求较高,为此研究了建筑钢架构用聚氨酯胶粘剂的阻燃性能。将不同聚氨酯丙烯酸酯预聚体、多种有机阻燃剂、无机填料氢氧化铝以及纳米氧化锌等作为主要原料,将其以不同添加量混合,实现建筑钢架构用聚氨酯胶粘剂的制备,分别测试试样的力学指标、极限氧指数、垂直燃烧等级等参数,分析各主要原料添加量对聚氨酯胶粘剂阻燃性能的影响。实验结果表明:三种预聚体以1∶1∶1比例添加,试样可达到难燃烧等级,且剪切强度、硬度、极限氧指数各指标综合最优;单独添加15%、30%三聚氰胺(分析纯)(ME)、25%、30%三聚氰胺焦磷酸盐(MPP)、10%、15%磷酸三(2-氯丙基)酯(TCPP)可起到阻燃效果,将ME、TCPP、MPP以15%、15%、25%添加量复配,其断裂伸长率、拉伸强度分别比不添加阻燃剂试样增长18.1%、22.09%,损坏长度最小;氢氧化铝、纳米氧化锌添加量分别为45%、2%时试样阻燃性能最突出。 展开更多

Web-based applications are revolutionizing both the features that can be delivered and the technologies for developing and deploying applications. In this paper, we present a web-based load-adaptive network management system framework. Our system is scalable, extendable, modular and based on open architecture. It is also load-adaptive as it can adapt to the increase in the number of incoming Web Service requests so that the systems performance will not degrade under heavy request loads. To evaluate the proposed architecture, we built a multi-tiered web application testbed with open-source components widely used in industry. Experimental studies conducted on the testbed demonstrated the effectiveness of the proposed approach. By developing the platform and making it available to the research community, we hope to catalyze the development of an open source stack for Web-based network management and monitoring. 展开更多

Societa Nazionale Officine di Savigliano was a company specialized in railway constructions, metallic bridges and mechanical and electrical constructions. Between the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century, the company became well known in Europe especially for metallic constructions, having built the majority of metal bridges in the north of Italy such as the famous Paderno bridge (1887-1889), one of the biggest arch bridge for the period. In the 1930s, the company built some interesting examples of steel frame buildings, applying the electrical welding technique, acquired in industrial constructions, to civil buildings. The steel frame was quite rare in Italian buildings, especially in the matter of civil constructions and Savigliano made an effort in modernizing the Italian construction system, through research and innovation. The paper will discuss some examples of Savigliano's works dating back to 1930, and in particular, it will present a specific example never studied before: the hangar at the Elmas military airport, in Cagliari (Sardinia). The building is worth mentioning for the innovations experimented, as the new welding technique allowed a series of improvements in the construction process. 展开更多

In design and construction of low/high rise buildings, different forms of construction can be applied such as concrete shear wall structural system and framed structural system without or with masonry infill walls. At present, most buildings in East Africa are constructed as reinforced concrete framed structures with strong masonry infill, but during design, engineers assume that the masonry infill panels have zero contribution in offering load resistance. Due to the problem above, a study with an objective of finding out the influence of masonry panels on the properties of reinforced concrete infilled frame under vertical load has been done. Three types of models: reinforced concrete frame model, masonry model and reinforced concrete frame with masonry infill, were investigated using finite element technique. In additional to the finite element analysis, laboratory models were prepared and tested so as to check the validity of the analytical results. The obtained results have led to an establishment of a mathematical model which may be useful to the design engineers since masonry wall panels can now be considered as load bearing elements. Such consideration of frame together with masonry leads to an accurate and optimal design of the frame, resulting into lesser amount of reinforcement and geometrical properties of the frame. 展开更多

The charm of reconstruction through digital modeling is far less than that of work done on traditional maquette, indeed, makes much deeper level of detail and specificity from knowing. We had to know many technical characteristics of the buildings beyond size, like static-structural features, physical features, economic features and others. In this way' the model become real-simulation, a simulated architectural model in all aspects. In addition to these aspects we deeply analyze also the formal, morphological, historical and architectural aspects. The idea is to revitalize and re-discover the logics and the rules of the projected constructions that the designer architect have invented for each masterpiece of architecture, through the comprehension of how is done.
