This approach can improve the calculation speed and do the dynamic optimization among substructures respectively in the car's body design. To meet the car's design of harshness, a dynamic optimal design model, based on the mean square of vertical displacement response at two points of the car floor, is proposed. Satisfactory results are achieved.展开更多

For the first time, systematic intensity measurements have been performed to elucidate the composition induced structural changes in tile high-frequency stretching vibration region and a possible mechanism was proposed. The network structure of the glasses is formed by mixing TeO4 trigonal bipyramid and Te03 trigonal pyramid units. The change of the lanthanum oxide content results in conversion of the TeO4 units to TeO3 units with a varying number of non-bridging oxygen atoms. Analysis of the Raman band contours in terms of vibrations due to different oxygen bridged trigonal bipyramid and trigonal pyramid tellurite structural units, allowed to calculate the relative amounts of the species involved in the structural changes with composition. The fraction of the terminal oxygen atoms has been estimated from the Raman intensities with the aid of a structural model concerning the structure of tellurite network systems. The simulation of the experimental density of lanthanum tellurite glasses with modifier content up to 25% revealed that the short range order building units assumed here are sufficient to account for the overall structure in these glasses.展开更多

Changes in construction projects are common due to the dynamic nature of the construction process. It is necessary to use effective and appropriate tools by project management to support decision-making and control changes during all stages of project implementation. This study examined the effects of change orders through technical programs on construction projects in Jordan and focused on how to overcome these effects by making usual orders that can be handled by each of the contracting parties. Also, this study added an advantage by not addressing the negative effects of change orders, but it provided many positive effects of change orders by using technical programs method, which has not been yet researched in Jordanian studies in particular, and in global studies in general. The researcher used descriptive analytical method by interviews to collect data through nine questions to a random sample of 30 engineers selected form constructions projects in Jordan. The results related to the study questions on the effect of change orders through technical programs on construction projects in Jordan showed that, most of the study samples confirm that change orders through technical programs decrease the cost of the projects, cause no need for more materials, cause no delay in the completion schedule, enhances the quality of work, and increase the productivity of the work force. The study recommended applying integrated change management system with technical supports form different technologies, developing effective innovative and practical solution to manage change orders and increase training programs to qualify and increase engineering skills in dealing with ICT (information and communication technologies) program.展开更多

Their daylight and energy performance can be determined by the building shape and orientation. The paper initially produced the results of illuminations and energy efficiency using the daylight and thermal simulations by Autodesk "ECOTECT". It then provided the comparison on simulation results of two type buildings: Flat-type and L-type apartment. The available options for the design incorporating the environmental performance have less flexibility in fiat-type apartments than in L-type ones. The best unit in the fiat apartment is fixed from -45 to 45 degrees rotation, however, that in the L-type one can change depending on rotating the building. Moreover, if the upper level units had the appropriate environment, the lower level could have larger window areas in order to meet those daylight performance needs. Results show that the facade design should have the different window areas depending on the location of each unit. It can assist in the comfort and low-energy consumption design by using simulation tools that achieve the more predictable understandings.展开更多

Promotional flyers make-up 5.1% of the money spent on communication and rank third place in terms of importance for retailers. The aim of this investigation work is to focus on analysing the utility of a promotional tool, such as a flyer, to fulfil a strategic objective, like creating a retail brand image, within a modern dynamic sector that is growing fast, such as Category Killers. Two sources of information have been used to carry out the research. On the One hand, a survey conducted on those responsible for the definition and execution of the promotional plan, and on the other hand, the accumulation and analysis of all the flyers issued into the market thought-out a year by those retailers which belong to this format, in order to conduct a study of seven defined image indicators. This information has been largely analyzed using multidimensional scaling method and chi-square test. As a result, we have managed to gather the differential elements in flyers execution between those retailers that prize the communications of image attributes and those retailers which concentrate on communicating price. The first group makes greater use of promotional theme related flyers, and shows greater differentiation in both product assortment and the depth of the range being communicated.展开更多
