Firstly, it clarifies the comprehensiveness and effective- ness of CMMI as a process improvement methodology by analysing the definition and structure of the CMMI model. Secondly, the specific applications of the CMMI model in project management, including project management process improvement and organisational structure optimisation, are described. The contribution of the CMMI model in improving the efficiency of software development, such as process standardisation, resource optimisation and cost control, and project management capability enhancement, is further explored. The role of the CMMI model in quality management is also discussed in detail, including the establishment of a quality management system and problem identification and resolution. Finally, the article discusses the differences between the CMMI model and other models in improving software development efficiency, providing valuable references and lessons for software companies.展开更多
