The algorithm is based on the correlation matrices of outputs of decorrelator, which is a Multi-User Detection(MUD) approach, one of the key techniques for CDMA system. Through decorrelating processing, the desired user's mulipath signals can be resolved and all the other resolved multipath signal interference is eliminated. So the proposed algorithm is expected to perforln much better than algorithm such as that based directly on the Matched Filter(MF) bank outputs. Simulation results confirm this. While the improved algorithm performs better and better as Signal-to-Noise Ratio(SNR) increases, the performance of algorithm based directly on the MF bank outputs can not be improved.展开更多

A novel multiuser detector based on Gibbs sampler is proposed, in which Gibbs sampler is employed to perform the Bayesian multiuser detection according to the linear group-blind decorrelator output. Since Gibbs sampler is dependent of parameter estimation that can be improved by the output of the detector, an enhanced Gibbs sampler based detector using the improved parameter estimation is put forward. However, differential multiple access interference (MAI) will deteriorate the frequency offset estimation performances, especially in interleaved OFDMA system. Analysis and simulation results manifest that frequency offset estimation by Moose scheme in block OFDMA system is more robust than that in interleaved OFDMA systern. And an iterative interference cancellation method has been proposed to suppress the differential MAI interference for interleaved OFDMA system, in which Moose scheme is the special case of the number of iteration is equal to one. Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed method can improve the performance with the increase of the number of iterations. In consideration of the performance and complexity, the proposed method with two iterations is selected. And the full comparison results of the proposed iterative method with two iterations and that with one iteration (conventional Moose scheme) are given in the paper, which sufficiently demonstrate that the performance gain can be obtained by the interference cancellation operation in interleaved OFDMA system.展开更多

The position/speed control is performed using vector techniques of three-phase induction machines. The estimation of the motor electromagnetic torque is used for setting the feedrate of the table. The speed control is developed using TS (Takagi-Sugeno) fuzzy logic model and electromagnetic torque estimation using neural network type LMS (least mean square) algorithm. The induction motor is powered by a frequency inverter driven by a DSP (digital signal processor). Control strategies are implemented in DSP. Simulation results are presented for evaluating the performance of the system.展开更多

This estimation method is based on an on-line stator resistance correction regarding the variations of the stator current estimation error. In fact, the input variable of the P1 estimator is the stator current estimation error. The main idea is to tune accurately the stator resistance value relatively to the evolution of the stator current estimation error gradient to avoid the drive instability and ensure the tracking of the actual value of the stator resistance. But there is an unavoidable steady state error between the filtered stator current modulus and its estimated value from the dq model of the machine which is due to pseudo random commutations of the inverter switches. This may deteriorate the performance of the proposed fuzzy stator resistance estimator. An offset has been introduced in order to overcome this problem, for different speed command values and load torques. Simulation results show that the proposed estimator was able to successfully track the actual value of the stator resistance lbr different operating conditions.展开更多

This feature permits to use either flow sensors or flow estimators. The solution chosen was the estimation of rotor flux with the hybrid neuro-fuzzy system. The motor characteristics are: 3.75 kW (5 HP), two pole-pair, operate at 60 Hz and air-gap length 0.2 mm. The ANFIS (adaptive neuro-fuzzy inference system) was used to tune the membership functions in fuzzy system. The hybrid estimator aims at compensating possible parametric variations of the machine caused by agents, such as temperature or nucleus saturation.
