[Objective] The aim was to study the variation of leaf characters from different provenance sources of Polygonum multiflorum Thunb,as well as to carry out cluster analysis on P.multiflorum from different provenance sources to provide basis for the classification,identification,breeding and improved variety selection of P.multiflorum.[Method] Leaf shape characters of 31 copies of germplasm resources in the major distribution region of the whole country were determined,and the genetic variation of P.multiflorum leaves from different producing areas was analyzed.[Result] The leaf characters of single plant of the same experimental provenance source of P.multiflorum were relatively stable,the variation was mainly found on the single leaf area,1/2 leaf width,leaf width and other indicators;the variation of each leaf character among different provenance sources was obvious,and the variation was mainly found on the single leaf weight,leaf area,1/2 leaf width,leaf length and other indicators.The correlation analysis of each leaf character in P.multiflorum suggested that the single leaf area and single leaf weight showed extremely significant positive correlation with leaf length,1/2 leaf width,leaf width,leaf thickness and leaf stem length,while the single leaf area and single leaf weight showed significant negative correlation with WWR(leaf width/1/2 leaf width)and LWR(leaf length/1/2 leaf length),in addition,several macroscopic leaf characters such as leaf length,1/2 leaf width,leaf width,leaf stem length showed extremely positive correlation.The main component analysis result suggested that the contribution rate of accumulation variance of the front three main components was up to 97.4%,which could better reflect the comprehensive performance of leaf characters of different provenance sources of P.multiflorum.The cluster analysis showed that the experimental 31 copies of P.multiflorum provenance sources should be divided into three classes,the first class was distributed in the Middle,Western of Guizhou,northwestern of Guangxi and western areas with higher altitude;the second class was distributed in Hunan,Hubei,Sichuan,Guangdong and the most area of Guangxi;the third class was distributed in Anhui,Jiangsu and Henan and Shandong.[Conclusion] Cluster analysis of leaf characters indicated that the kinds of provenance sources which the geographical position was closer could be got together.The study had provided a certain basis for the classification of P.multiflorum. 展开更多

[Method] Genetic diversities of the local cultivated water chestnut,wild chestnut,Lepironia articulata and Scirpus planiculmis Fr. Schmidt were analyzed by RAPD technology. [Result] Among the screened random primers 841,842,807 and 840,the polymorphism of amplification product of 841 was evident,and the obtained bands in electrophoresis were clear and showed good repeatability. Cluster analysis result showed that the affinity of cultivated water chestnut and wild water chestnut was nearer than that between Lepironia articulata and Scirpus planiculmis. [Conclusion] The research provides theoretical basis for cultivating high-quality new varieties of water chestnut. 展开更多

With 50 large-flowered Chrysanthemum varieties from germplasm nursery of Wunaoshan Forest Farm in Macheng City as research objects, 64 morphological traits were investigated by field experiments adopting randomized block design. The morphological differences were observed by uniformity analysis, variability analysis, principal component analysis and cluster analysis. The result showed that the vari- able coefficients of 59 traits were greater than 15%; the contribution rate of first seven principal components reached 81.45%; and it was found by clustering analy- sis that the 50 germplasm resources could be divided into four clusters with obvious morphological differences, and plant type could be used as an index for classifica- tion. 展开更多

The continuous expansion of the scale of the elderly population and the continuous acceleration of elderly population ageing have had a profound impact on China's economy, society and family, especially for the development of China's pension indusby, in this paper, taking Ganzhou City as an example, the population size, population ageing rate, urbanization rate and residential area were analyzed using Z-Scores standardized data processing model from three aspects: the population development level, the real estate market maturity degree and the service development level. The proportion of the tertiary industry and other indicators were used to explore the suitability of the development of eldedy care real estate, and cluster analysis was used to classify the sample areas according to the suitability. The results show that the 18 counties and cities in Ganzhou City could be divided into three categories, areas with poor suitability, areas with development potential, key development areas. Finally, suggestions were put forward that the target market of the development of old-age real estate could be comprehensively analyzed by combining the population development trend of the region with its thoughts and concepts, social and economic development, the maturity of the real estate market and the development of the service industry to ensure the sustainable operation of the old-age real estate. 展开更多

[Objective] The aim was to study the heat stress mechanism of differen tially expressed genes in rat jejunal mucosal.[Method] Variable cluster analysis and cluster analysis of samples on the differentially expressed heat stress genes in rat jejunal mucosal were carried out with SAS software,and statistics of distribution of the differentially expressed genes on chromosomes were conducted.[Result] The differentially expressed genes were divided into seven categories,of which,the upregulated genes included three categories (i.e.:Category A:Hspa1a,Hspa1b,Hspb1,Hsph1,Dnaja4,Ahsa2 and P4ha1; Category B:Cyp1a2,Zbtb16,Gucy2g,Fgb,Cyp4a3 and Etv2; and Category C:Cyp1a2,Chac1 and Cyp4b1) and the down-regulated genes included four categories (i.e.:Category D:Tlr2,Noxo1,LOC286989 and Aspg; Category E:RGD1560395,Alb and BQ194726; Category F:Ccl4,Gzmk,Al228153,Anxa10,S100a9 and Ascl5; and Category G:Reg1a and Slc13a1).The classification,function and reasons of differential expression for each gene category were analyzed.[Conclusion] Most of the three categories of up-regulated genes were related to the heat shock proteins; and most of the four categories of down-regulated genes were related to the immunity,providing reference for discussion of the heat stress mechanism. 展开更多

Nowadays,many steganographic tools have been developed,and secret messages can be imperceptibly transmitted through public networks.This paper concentrates on steganalysis against spatial least significant bit(LSB) matching,which is the prototype of many advanced information hiding methods.Many existing algorithms deal with steganalysis problems by using the dependencies between adjacent pixels.From another aspect,this paper calculates the differences among pixel pairs and proves that the histogram of difference values will be smoothed by stego noises.We calculate the difference histogram characteristic function(DHCF) and deduce that the moment of DHCFs(DHCFM) will be diminished after stego bits are hidden in the image.Accordingly,we compute the DHCFMs as the discriminative features.We calibrate the features by decreasing the influence of image content on them and train support vector machine classifiers based on the calibrated features.Experimental results demonstrate that the DHCFMs calculated with nonadjacent pixels are helpful to detect stego messages hidden by LSB matching. 展开更多

Objective: To identify differentially expressed long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) involved in the metastasis of epithelial ovarian cancer. Methods: An in vitro invasion assay was performed to validate the invasive capability of SKOV3 and SKOV3.ip1 cell lines. Total R.NA was then extracted, and microarray analysis was performed. Moreover, nine lncRNAs were selected for validation using RT-qPCR. Results: Compared with the SKOV3 cells, the SKOV3.ip1 cells significantly improved in the in vitro invasive activity. Of the 4,956 lncRNAs detected in the microarra~ 583 and 578 lncRNAs were upregulated and downregulated, respectivel~ in SKOV3.ip1 cells, compared with the parental SKOV3 cells. Seven of the analyzed lncRNAs (MALAT1, H19, UCA1, CCAT1, LOC645249, LOC100128881, and LOC100292680) confirmed the deregulation found by microarray analysis. Conclusion: LncRNAs clusters were differentially expressed in ovarian cancer cells with varying metastatic potentials. This result indicates that some lncRNAs might exert a partial or key role in epithelial ovarian cancer metastasis. Further studies should be conducted to determine the roles of these lncRNAs in ovarian cancer metastasis. 展开更多

Thirty-five large and medium sized Chinese cities are classified into six clusters applying the minimum variance clustering method according to the calculated correlation coefficients between the housing price indices of every two cities.Time difference correlation analysis is then employed to quantify the relations between the housing price indices of the six clusters and the monetary policies.It is suggested that the housing prices of various cities evolved at different paces and their responses to the monetary policies are heterogeneous,and local economic features are more important than geographic distances in determining the housing price trends. 展开更多

The aim of this study was to investigate the clinical heterogeneity of Parkinson's disease(PD) among a cohort of Chinese patients in early stages.Clinical data on demographics,motor variables,motor phenotypes,disease progression,global cognitive function,depression,apathy,sleep quality,constipation,fatigue,and L-dopa complications were collected from 138 Chinese PD subjects in early stages(Hoehn and Yahr stages 1-3).The PD subject subtypes were classified using k-means cluster analysis according to the clinical data from five-to three-cluster consecutively.Kappa statistical analysis was performed to evaluate the consistency among different subtype solutions.The cluster analysis indicated four main subtypes:the non-tremor dominant subtype(NTD,n=28,20.3%),rapid disease progression subtype(RDP,n=7,5.1%),young-onset subtype(YO,n=50,36.2%),and tremor dominant subtype(TD,n=53,38.4%).Overall,78.3%(108/138) of subjects were always classified between the same three groups(52 always in TD,7 in RDP,and 49 in NTD),and 98.6%(136/138) between five-and four-cluster solutions.However,subjects classified as NTD in the four-cluster analysis were dispersed into different subtypes in the three-cluster analysis,with low concordance between four-and three-cluster solutions(kappa value= 0.139,P=0.001).This study defines clinical heterogeneity of PD patients in early stages using a data-driven approach.The subtypes generated by the four-cluster solution appear to exhibit ideal internal cohesion and external isolation. 展开更多
