The improvements of the design and the compatibility with silicon IC of RF MEMS switch are presented.The compatibility with silicon IC is realized by dielectric isolation technology,and the decrease of the pull voltag...The improvements of the design and the compatibility with silicon IC of RF MEMS switch are presented.The compatibility with silicon IC is realized by dielectric isolation technology,and the decrease of the pull voltage of the switch is done by etching some holes on the metal membrane.The preliminary test results are as follows: C off and C on are 0 32pF,6pF,respectively;the pull down voltage is about 25V.The package of the RF MEMS switch is done by micro stripline,and the isolation and the insertion loss are 35dB,2dB,respectively at 1 5GHz;the switching speed is about 3μs by oscilloscope.展开更多
The mining industry annually consumes trillions of British thermal units of energy,a large part of which is saveable.Diesel fuel is a significant source of energy in surface mining operations and haul trucks are the m...The mining industry annually consumes trillions of British thermal units of energy,a large part of which is saveable.Diesel fuel is a significant source of energy in surface mining operations and haul trucks are the major users of this energy source.Cross vehicle weight,truck velocity and total resistance have been recognised as the key parameters affecting the fuel consumption.In this paper,an artificial neural network model was developed to predict the fuel consumption of haul trucks in surface mines based on the gross vehicle weight,truck velocity and total resistance.The network was trained and tested using real data collected from a surface mining operation.The results indicate that the artificial neural network modelling can accurately predict haul truck fuel consumption based on the values of the haulage parameters considered in this study.展开更多

The purpose of the study is to quantify social-economic well-being development with special emphasis on poverty. The maximum entropy bootstrap was presented that did not require the property of stationarity. Moreover, the methodology was stratified both the ergodic theorem and the central limit theorem. Thailand＇s GINI index and Thailand-Japan＇s volume of trade data cover the 14-year period from 1998 to 2011. There is a statistically significant negative non-linear relationship between endogenous Thailand＇s GINI index and exogenous Thailand-Japan＇s volume of trade. The results confirmed that every lagged one percent increase in Thailand-Japan＇s volume of trade influenced by a decrease of Thailand＇s GINI index coefficient 0.039 percent with the asymmetric around 0-almost closed to range condition -0.034824348 at 2.5%.展开更多

Fourteen patient...In this paper the results of skeletal traction and irrigation therapy (STIT) used for open fracture complicated with large-sized full-thickness skin-deficit and infection wounds (OFIW) were presented. Fourteen patients of OFIW were treated by the plaster cast and wound dressing (PCWD), and 30 patients of OFIW were treated by STIT. The results indicated that after one week of treatment, the white blood cell count in the STIT group, compared to 17. 6±l. 0×109/L from before treatment, returned to 8. 8±0. 8×109/L,and in contrast, the cell count of the PCWD group was about 13. 0±1. 4×109/L. All of wound exudate culture in the STIT group was negative, and those of 7 cases (7/14) in PCWD group were positive (P<0. 0l). The symptoms and signs such as pain, fever and septic exudate on the wound in the STIT group were much milder than those in the PCWD group. There were 5 cases (35. 7%) of toxicemia and septicemia, 2 cases (14. 3%) of osteomyelitis, 2 cases (14. 3 %) of amputation, 1 case (7. 1%) of delayed union and 3 cases (21. 4 %) of malunion in the PCWD group, and no complications in the STIT group.展开更多
