A case is studied and shows that the subgrade was slided because of excessive filling velocity. To determine a reasonable filling velocity is a key problem to a subgrade with marine soft soil.展开更多

A primary case study on a hospital centre has allowed us to define the methodological basis. Also, it concludes to the need for a systematic method due to the complexity of hospital system and the specific knowledge. This "screening method" exits but it is applicable to the context of a major earthquake, where the main objective is to save life, while ours is to guarantee the continuity of hospital services. Other aims are to adapt this method in order to introduce the concept of a moderate earthquake, to take into account the environmental interactions of the hospital system and to improve the knowledge base. Subsequently, a software tool has to be developed to facilitate the implementation for the technical manager.展开更多

This result can be interpreted as independent experimental evidence for new physics beyond the SM, even if the 125 GeV Higgs-like boson at the LHC is ultimately confirmed as the SM Higgs. A recalculated global electroweak fit with a model-independent Z' shows that Z' can simultaneously suppress AFB(0,b) and Ae at the Z-pole, and reduce the largest deviation from 2.6σ in SM to 1.0σ in our scenario. The Z' fitting results also support a negative S parameter.展开更多

The transmitted signals are not specifically designed radar waveforms. In this work, the frequency agile, phased array air surveillance radar(ASR) is used as the illuminator of opportunity to detect the weak target. The phased array technology can help realize beam agility to track targets from different aspects simultaneously. The frequency agility technology is widely employed in radar system design to increase the ability of anti-jamming and increase the detection probability. While the frequency bandwidth of radar signals is usually wide and the range resolution is high, the range cell migration effect is obvious during the long time integration of non-cooperative bistatic radar. In this context, coherent integration methods are not applicable. In this work, a parametric non-coherent integration algorithm based on task de-interweaving is proposed. Numerical experiments verify that this is effective in weak target detection.展开更多
