Based on the real dynamic tensile-shear failure mechanism of slope, the paper proposes dynamic analysis of strength reduction FEM (finite element method) and takes the reduction of shear strength parameters and tensile strength parameters into consideration. And it comprehensively takes the transfixion of the failure surface, the non-convergence of calculation and mutation of displacement as the criterion of dynamic instability and failure of the slope. The strength reduction factor under limit state is regarded as the dynamic safety factor of the slope under earthquake effect and its advantages are introduced. Finally, the method is applied in the seismic design of anchors supporting and anti-slide pile supporting of the slope. Calculation examples show that the application of dynamic analysis of strength reduction is feasible in the seismic design of slope engineering, which can consider dynamic interaction of supporting structure and rock-soil mass. Owing to its preciseness and great advantages,it is a new method in the seismic design of slope supporting.展开更多

This may be termed "norms of legality" in relation to the effect of juristic acts (Rechtsgeschaft). This refers only to jus cogens in public law, since jus cogens in private law is self-governing or autonomous in nature and its violation results at worst in ineffectiveness rather than invalidity. In determining whether legal acts that contravene public law are valid, the objectives of the related public laws must be examined and the principle of proportionality applied to limit the interpretation of the objectives of the public law in question, in order to further distinguish obligations in public law from those in private law. Local laws and administrative rules cannot be excluded completely in the application of civil law. Violation of the law and violation of public order and good custom have totally different effects and cannot be treated as the same thing.展开更多

First, using pp collision data collected by the DO and CDF II detectors, we find that the LRTH Z' boson is excluded with masses below 940 GeV. Then we search for signatures of the Z' boson at the LHC from the analysis of some distributions for pp --* It+g- + X, such as the number of events, the differential cross section of the dimuon invariant mass, the distributions of the transverse momentum and the forward-backward charge asymmetry. We do our calculation for two typical values of the LHC center of mass energy (7 and 14 TeV). The numerical results show that, by applying convenient cuts on some of the observables, the dimuon invariant mass and final particle PT distributions can reveal the presence of the heavy neutral gauge boson Z' contribution in the LRTH model.展开更多
