It argues that as translation involves only two aspects "understanding" and "expression" from the angle of translation process or "meaning" and "form" from the angle of expression, the latter sheds light on the controversy about translatability. It is form instead of meaning that obstructs translation, for meaning is mostly translatable or the basic meaning is translatable while form is not wholly translatable or is just untranslatable.
