The microstructure and tribological properties of the composite coatings were researched. The results show that the composite coatings mainly consist of γ-Ni, α-Al2O3, γ-Al2O3 and rutile-TiO2 etc, and exhibit lower friction coefficients and wear losses than the Ni-based alloy coatings at different loads and speeds. The composite coating bears low contact stress at 3 N and its wear mechanism is micro-cutting wear. As loads increase to 6-12 N, the contact stress is higher than the elastic limit stress of worn surface, and the wear mechanisms change into multi-plastic deformation wear, micro-brittle fracture wear and abrasive wear. With the increase of speeds, the contact temperature of worn surface increases. The composite coating experiences multi-plastic deformation wear, fatigue wear and adhesive wear.展开更多

The infiltration quality and interfacial bonding behavior were investigated by SEM, EDS, XRD and tensile tests. The results show that there is an obvious interfacial reaction layer between the alloying steel and the Ni/Al2O3 composite ceramic. The interfacial reactive products are (FexAly)3O4 intermetallic phase and (AlxCry)2O3 solid solution. The interracial bonding strength is as high as about 67.5 MPa. The bonding mechanism of X10CrNi 18-8 steel with the composite ceramic is that Ni inside the ceramic bodies dissolves into the alloy melt and transforms into liquid channels, consequently inducing the steel melt infiltrating and filling in the pores and the liquid channels. Moreover, the metallurgical bonding and interfacial reactive bonding also play a key role on the stability of the bonding interface.展开更多

The materials were characterized by XRD and SEM. The effect of annealing process on the phase composition, sintering performance, microstructure, bending strength, dielectric loss and thermal conductivity of the materials was investigated. The results showed that both annealing at 1 850 ℃ and 1 450 ℃ promoted the phase transformation of α-Si3N4 to β-Si3N4. After annealing at 1 850 ℃, grain growth to a certain extent occurred in the materials. Especially, the elongated β-Si3N4 grains showed a slight increase in diameter from 0.2 μm to 0.6 μm approximately and a decrease in aspect ratio. As a result, as the annealing time increased to 4 h, the bending strength declined from 456 MPa to 390 MPa, whereas the dielectric loss decreased to 2.15× 10^-3 and the thermal conductivity increased to 16.3 W/(m.K) gradually. When annealed at 1 450 ℃, increasing the annealing time to 4 h significantly promoted the crystallization of glassy phase to La2Si6N803 phase in the materials, which led to the increase in bending strength to 619 MPa and thermal conductivity to 15.9 W/(m·K), respectively, and simultaneously the decrease in dielectric loss to 1.53× 10^-3.展开更多

SEM and TEM investigations revealed that the grain size of AlN particles was less than 1 μm. In spite of sub-micron grain size, composites showed relatively high thermal conductivity (TC), 55-107 W/(m·K). The thermal expansion coefficient (CTE) of the composite produced with commercial Al source, which has the highest TC of 107 W/(m·K), was 6.5×10-6 K-1. Despite the high CTE of Al (23.6×10-6 K-1), composites revealed significantly low CTE through the formation of Si and AlN phases during the infiltration process.展开更多

For this evaluation, an elastoplastic analysis was used to estimate critical COD values for single edge notched bending (SENB) specimens. The relationship between fracture toughness (Kic) and critical COD for SENB specimens was obtained. Microstructure of the interface between AleO3-TiO2 composite ceramic coatings and AISI 1045 steel substrates was studied by using scanning electron microscope (SEM). Chemical compositions were clarified by energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDS). The results show that the interface between of Al203-TiO2 and substrate has mechanical combining. The nanohardness of the coatings can reach 1 200 GPa examined by nanoindentation. The Klc was calculated according to this relationship from critical COD. The bending process produces a significant relationship of COD independent of the axial force applied. Fractographic analysis was conducted to determine the crack length. From the physical analysis of nanoindentation curves, the elastic modulus of 1045/AI2O3-TiO2 is 180 GPa for the 50 μm film. The highest value of fracture toughness for 1045/A1203-TiO2-250 μm is 348 MPa·mv2.展开更多

In this study, butanol was recovered from its aqueous solution using a polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS)/ceramic composite pervaporation membrane. The effects of operating temperature, feed concentration, feed flow rate and operating time on the membrane pervaporation performance were investigated. It was found that with the increase of temperature or butanol concentration in the feed, the total flux through the membrane increased while the separation factor decreased slightly. As the feed flow rate increased, the total flux increased gradually while the separation factor changed little. At 40°C and 1% (by mass) butanol in the feed, the total flux and separation factor of the membrane reached 457.4 g·m?2·h?1 and 26.1, respectively. The membrane with high flux is suitable for recovering butanol from ABE fermentation broth.展开更多

In this work, ceramic supported polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) and poly (ethylene glycol) diacrylate (PEGDA) composite membranes were prepared. The microstructure and physicochemical properties of the compos- ite membranes were characterized. Preparation conditions were systematically optimized. The gas separation performance of the as-prepared membranes was studied by pure gas and binary gas permeation measurement of CO〉 N2 and H〉 Experiments showed that PDMS, as silicone rubber, exhibited larger permeance and lower separation factors. Conversely, PEGDA composite membrane presented smaller gas permeance but higher ideal selectivity for CO2/N2. Compared to the performance of those membranes using polymeric supports or freestanding membranes, the two kinds of ceramic supported composite membranes exhibited higher gas permeance and acceptable selectivity. Therefore, the ceramic supported composite membrane can be expected as a candidate for CO2 separation from light gases.展开更多

The results show that thermogravimetrie behavior of pitch and TiB2/C green composite cathode is similar, and appears the largest mass loss rate in the temperature range from 200 to 600 ℃. The bulk density variation of sample K5 before and after baking is the largest (11.9%), that of sample K25 is the second, and that of sample M5 is the smallest (6.7%). The crushing strength of sample M5 is the biggest (51.2 MPa), that of sample K2.5 is the next, and that of sample K5 is the smallest (32.8 MPa). But, the orders of the electrical resistivity and electrolysis expansion of samples are just opposite with the order of crushing strength. The heating rate has a great impact on the microstructure of sample. The faster the heating rate is, the bigger the pore size and porosity of sample are. 文摘Thermal properties of AlN-Si-Al composites produced by pressureless melt infiltration of Al/Al alloys into porous a-Si3N4 preforms were investigated in a temperature range of 50-300 °C. Despite the high CTE of Al (23.6×10-6 K-1), composites revealed significantly low CTE through the formation of Si and AlN phases during the infiltration process.

文摘Abstract: An effective approach was conducted for estimating fracture toughness using the crack opening displacement (COD) method for plasma enhanced chemical vapor deposition (PECVD) coating materials. The highest value of fracture toughness for 1045/A1203-TiO2-250 μm is 348 MPa·mv2.
文摘The structure and dielectric properties of (Pb,Sr)Nb2O6-NaNbO3-SiO2 glass-ceramics with different Pb and Sr contents were investigated. The XRD pattern of glass-ceramics without Sr substitution is different from that with Sr substitution, which indicates the existence of orthorhombic phase in the latter ones. TEM bright field observation shows nanosized microstructures, while for samples with Sr, typical eutectic microstrncture with separated crystallized bands is found in the glass matrix. Dielectric properties measurement of the samples indicates an obvious improvement of dielectric constant, dielectric loss, DC field and temperature dependence of dielectric constant when the molar ratio of Sr to Pb is 4:6.

文摘Pervaporation has attracted considerable interest owing to its potential application in recovering biobutanol from biomass acetone-butanol-ethanol (ABE) fermentation broth. The membrane with high flux is suitable for recovering butanol from ABE fermentation broth.

文摘The CaO doped 10NiO-NiFe2O4 composite ceramics were prepared by the cold isostatic pressing-sintering process, and the effects of CaO content on the phase composition, mechanical property and thermal shock resistance of 10NiO-NiFe2O4 composite ceramics were studied. The results show that the samples mainly consist of NiO and NiFe2O4 when content of CaO is less than 4%(mass fraction), bending strength increases obviously by CaO doping. Bending strength of the samples doped with 2% CaO is above 185 MPa, but that of the samples without CaO is only 60 MPa. Fracture toughness is improved obviously by CaO doping, the samples doped with 2% CaO have the maximum fracture toughness of 2.12 MPa ·m1/2 , which is about two times of that of the undoped ceramics. CaO doping is bad to thermal shock resistance of 10NiO-NiFe2O4 composite ceramics.

文摘Composite membranes have attracted increasing attentions owing to their potential applications for CO2 separation. Therefore, the ceramic supported composite membrane can be expected as a candidate for CO2 separation from light gases.

文摘Pitch and TiB2/C green composite cathode material were respectively analyzed with simultaneous DSC-TGA, and effects of three baking processes of TiB2/C composite cathode material, i.e. K25, K5 and M5, on properties of TiB2/C composite cathode material were investigated. Compared with the heating rate between 200 and 600℃ of samples K25 and K5, that of sample M5 is slower and suitable for baking process of TiB2/C composite cathode material.
