When the amount of landfill leachate is small and needs to be treated in combination with activated sludge, it is necessary to consider the inhibition characteristics of landfill leachate on activated sludge and the adaptation of activated sludge to landfill leachate. In this paper, for a certain landfill leachate effluent, the oxygen uptake rate (OUR) method was used to characterize the inhibition and adaptation of activated sludge to landfill leachate.
