The process of dip-pen lithography involves the adsorption of ink molecules on AFM tip, the formation of water meniscus, the transport of ink molecules, and diffusion of ink molecules on the substrate. More factors such as temperature, humidity, tip, scanning speed and so on will influence the process of dip-pen lithography. The paper analyzes in detail the mechanism of this technique, introduces synthetically the latest development, including electrochemical DPN, more-mode DPN, multiple DPN, multi-probe array DPN and so on. Finally, the paper describes the characteristics and the application of DPN.展开更多

A novel type of ballast for HID is proposed without an acoustic resonance. The system consists of high frequency DC/DC converter,DC/AC inverter(SLA2403M), high voltage igniter and a microcontroller unit(MCU). The proposed ballast controls the complex start-up process and constant power process by programming on the rnicrocontroller. It is verified that experimental results agree well with the calculated ones. The ballast features such functions as failure protection, line under-voltage, line over-voltage, output short circuit and disconnection protections.展开更多

Through the in- novative use of emerging coherent optical communication technology and the advance- ment of microelectronics technology, the new-generation 100Gb/s transport technology offers a high line rate and unprecedented re- silience to optical transmission impairments. This paper overviews the bandwidth demands of China Mobile driven by the upcoming roll- out of Time Division-Long Term Evolution (TD-LTE) and presents the 100Gb/s trials at China Mobile that were used to verify the performance of a lOOGb/s system. China Mo- bile's considerations, which were based on the trial results, regarding the deployment of lOOGb/s transport systems are introduced, and the requirements of China Mobile for the evo- lution of lOOGb/s transport systems are sum- marized.展开更多

In the present study, over 10,000 primary spermatocytes and round spermatid cells were successfully isolated by LCM. Using the cDNAs from primary spermatocytes and round spermatids, SSH cDNAs library of primary spermatocyte-specific was constructed. The average insert size of the cDNA isolated from 75 randomly picked white clones was 500 bp, ranging from 250 bp to 1.7 kb. Using the dot-blot method, a total of 421 clones were examined, resulting in the identification of 390 positive clones emitting strong signals. Partial sequence of cDNAs prepared from each clone was determined with an overall success rate of 84.4%. Genes encoding cytochrome c oxidase II and the rescue factor-humanin were most frequently expressed in primary spermatocytes, suggesting their roles involved in meiosis.展开更多
