Three populations of B6, Popl and Pop2 purchased from Beijing and Pop3 purchased from Shanghai, were examined. Fifteen microsatellite loci reported to be polymorphic among inbred strains were amplified using FAM labeled primers and genotyped with ABI Prism 377 automated sequencer. Seven loci were found polymorphic, and all the loci were homozygous in all the three populations. The present study indicates that genetic variation occurs in different B6 populations although they are still inbred in each breeder. The mechanism of genetic variation is not well understood now, but it is very important to know the precise content of the B6 genome before use of this strain in research.展开更多

[Conclusion] We compared the values above, the order of the genetic variability among these grouper species was E. fario E. merra E. malabaricus E. coioides. We found that the level of genetic variability of these groupers species was relatively higher than that of other marine fish, so their genetic status was good. In addition, the analyisis of genetic relationship showed that E. malabaricus and E. coioides was the closest and it was the farthest between E. merra and E. coioides.展开更多

METHODS: We examined 42 cases of gallbladder carcinoma: 22 Japanese and 20 Hungarian cases, p53 mutations at exons 5 to 8 and K-ras mutations at codon 12 were tested by direct sequencing. Microsatellite instability was determined from fluorescent dye-labeled PCR amplifications of flve-microsatellite markers (BAT-25, BAT-26, D2S123, DSS346, and D17S250). RESULTS: Mutations of p53 were detected in 11 of 22 Japanese cases and 6 of 18 Hungarian cases (11/22 vs 6/18, P = 0.348). Transition at CpG sites was found in none of 11 Japanese cases and 2 of 6 Hungarian cases; the difference was marginally significant (0/11 vs 2/6,P = 0.110). K-ras mutations were detected in only one of the Hungarian cases. Eight of 19 (42.1%) ]apanese cases were MSI-high (presence of novel peaks in more than one of the five loci analyzed), whereas only 1 of 15 (6.7%) Hungarian cases was MSI-high (P = 0.047). CONCLUSION: It appears that the p53 mutations and MSI differ in patients with gallbladder carcinoma between two distinct high-incidence areas. The hot deformation characteristics of as-forged Ti−3.5Al−5Mo−6V−3Cr−2Sn−0.5Fe−0.1B−0.1C alloy within a temperature range from 750 to 910℃and a strain rate range from 0.001 to 1 s^(-1) were investigated by hot compre...The hot deformation characteristics of as-forged Ti−3.5Al−5Mo−6V−3Cr−2Sn−0.5Fe−0.1B−0.1C alloy within a temperature range from 750 to 910℃and a strain rate range from 0.001 to 1 s^(-1) were investigated by hot compression tests.The stress−strain curves show that the flow stress decreases with the increase of temperature and the decrease of strain rate.The microstructure is sensitive to deformation parameters.The dynamic recrystallization(DRX)grains appear while the temperature reaches 790℃at a constant strain rate of 0.001 s^(-1) and strain rate is not higher than 0.1 s^(-1) at a constant temperature of 910℃.The work-hardening rateθis calculated and it is found that DRX prefers to happen at high temperature and low strain rate.The constitutive equation and processing map were obtained.The average activation energy of the alloy is 242.78 kJ/mol and there are few unstable regions on the processing map,which indicates excellent hot workability.At the strain rate of 0.1 s^(-1),the stress−strain curves show an abnormal shape where there are two stress peaks simultaneously.This can be attributed to the alternation of hardening effect,which results from the continuous dynamic recrystallization(CDRX)and the rotation of DRX grains,and dynamic softening mechanism.展开更多
Consumption of rice is the main source of micronutrients to human in Asia. A paddy field with unknown anthro- pogenic contamination in Deqing County, Zhejiang Province, China was selected to characterize the spatial v...Consumption of rice is the main source of micronutrients to human in Asia. A paddy field with unknown anthro- pogenic contamination in Deqing County, Zhejiang Province, China was selected to characterize the spatial variability and distribution of micronutrients in rice grain and soil. A total of 96 paired soil and rice grain samples were collected at harvest. The micronutrients in the soil samples were extracted by diethylenetriamine pentaacetic acid (DTPA). The mean micronutrient concentrations in rice grain were 3.85 μg Cu g^-1, 11.6 μg Fe g^-1, 39.7 μg Mn g^-1 and 26.0 μg Zn g^-1 The mean concentrations were 2.54μg g^-1 for DTPA-Cu, 133.5μg g^-1 for DTPA-Fe, 30.6μg g^-1 for DTPA-Mn, and 0.84μg g^-1 for DTPA-Zn. Semivariograms showed that measured micronutrients in rice grain were moderately dependent, with a range distance of about 110 m. The concentrations of the DTPA-extractable micronutrients all displayed strong spatial dependency, with a range distance of about 60 m. There was some resemblance of spatial structure between soil pH and the grain Cu, Fe, Mn, and Zn. By analogy, similar spatial variation was observed between soil organic matter (SOM) and DTPA-extractable table micronutrients in the soil. Kriging estimated maps of the attributes showed the spatial distributions of the variables in the field, which is beneficial for better understanding the spatial variation of micronutrients and for potentially refining agricultural management practices at a field scale.展开更多
