The model of the SCG rotor drift is established through dimensionless processing, linearization within micro-displacement and the least-square approach. Both the measurement scheme of the SCG rotor drift based on the model and its parameter relationship are presented. To guarantee the potential of the suspension rotor to be zero, the distributing scheme of four pairs of detecting electrodes is presented. The scheme can measure the magnitude and the direction of the rotor drift. The negative factors for affecting the measurement precision of .the SCG rotor drift and simulation results of the total effects are given. Simulation results show that the distributing capacitance of these differential capacitance sensors, the zero potential of the rotor and the model error are the major negative factors. The methods for eliminating those negative factors and the application range of the model are given. The model ensures the relationship between the output voltage and the rotor drift be linear.展开更多

Its principal, design, and fabricating process are described in detail. A patterned dielectric layer, Ta2O5, with dielectric constant of 24 is reached. Experiment results show this novel structure,where the switch's dielectric layer is not prepared on the transmission line, features very low insertion loss. The insertion loss is 0.06dB at 2GHz and lower than 0.5dB in the wider range from De up to 20GHz,especially when the transmission line metal is only 0. 5μm thick.展开更多

[Result] Specific surface area, pore volume and pore size distribution of activated carbon exert- ed remarkable effects on butane adsorption. The activated carbon with high percent- age of micropore volume within the range of 1.2-2 nm possessed high butane activity. The level of butane retentivity rose with the increase of the volume of pore within the range of 0.5-0,9 nm, which led to smaller butan working capacity (BWC). [Conclusion] The study provided reference for the adsorption research for activated carbon.展开更多

AIM To investigate the correlation of iodine concentration(IC) generated by spectral computed tomography(CT) with micro-vessel density(MVD) and vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF) expression in patients with adva...AIM To investigate the correlation of iodine concentration(IC) generated by spectral computed tomography(CT) with micro-vessel density(MVD) and vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF) expression in patients with advanced gastric carcinoma(GC).METHODS Thirty-four advanced GC patients underwent abdominal enhanced CT in the gemstone spectral imaging mode. The IC of the primary lesion in the arterial phase(AP) and venous phase(VP) were measured, and were then normalized against that in the aorta to provide the normalized IC(nI C). MVD and VEGF were detected by immunohistochemical assays, using CD34 and VEGF-A antibodies, respectively. Correlations of nI C with MVD, VEGF, and clinical-pathological features were analyzed.RESULTS Both nI Cs correlated linearly with MVD and were higher in the primary lesion site than in the normal control site, but were not correlated with VEGF expression. After stratification by clinical-pathological subtypes, nI C-AP showed a statistically significant correlation with MVD, particularly in the group with tumors at stage T4, without nodular involvement, of a mixed Lauren type, where the tumor was located at the antrum site, and occurred in female individuals. nI C-VP showed a positive correlation with MVD in the group with the tumor at stage T4 and above, had nodular involvement, was poorly differentiated, was located at the pylorus site, of a mixed and diffused Lauren subtype, and occurred in male individuals. nI C-AP and nI C-VP showed significant differences in terms of histological differentiation and Lauren subtype.CONCLUSION The IC detected by spectral CT correlated with the MVD. n IC-AP and n IC-VP can reflect angiogenesis in different pathological subgroups of advanced GC.展开更多
The hierarchical ZnMn2O4/Mn3O4 composite sub-microrods were synthesized via a water-in-oil microemulsion method followed by calcination.The ZnMn2O4/Mn3O4 electrode displays an intriguing capacity increasing from 440 t...The hierarchical ZnMn2O4/Mn3O4 composite sub-microrods were synthesized via a water-in-oil microemulsion method followed by calcination.The ZnMn2O4/Mn3O4 electrode displays an intriguing capacity increasing from 440 to 910 mA·h/g at 500 mA/g during 550 consecutive discharge/charge cycles,and delivers an ultrahigh capacity of 1276 mA·h/g at 100 mA/g,which is much greater than the theoretical capacity of either ZnMn2O4 or Mn3O4 electrode.To investigate the underlying mechanism of this phenomenon,cyclic voltammetry and differential capacity analysis were applied,both of which reveal the emergence and the growth of new reversible redox reactions upon charge/discharge cycling.The new reversible conversions are probably the results of an activation process of the electrode material during the cycling process,leading to the climbing charge storage.However,the capacity exceeding the theoretical value indicates that there are still other factors contributing to the increasing capacity.展开更多

It is shown that the model always has a stable steady-state solution (SSS) if all differential capacitances are positive. On the other hand, when negative differential capacitance is included, the model can have no stable SSS and be in a self-sustained current oscillation behavior. Therefore, we find a possible minimum toy model with both negative differential resistance and negative differential capacitance which can include the phenomena of both self-sustained current oscillation and I-V oscillation of stable SSSs.展开更多

To make the most of excess silicon and alkali sources in mother liquid derived from FAU/LTA-0, zeolite FAU/LTA-I b was synthesized in the same method with the use of mother liquid by adding a certain amount of aluminum source. Influences of different adding ways of aluminum source and recycling dosages of mother liquid on synthesis of zeolites FALl/ LTA with mother liquid were investigated. The phase, microstructure and thermostability of FAU/LTA-0 and FAU/LTA-lb were characterized by XRD, SEM and TG-DTA. The calcium and magnesium cation exchange capacities (CECs) of the zeolites were determined. The results have shown that co-crystalline zeolite can be synthesized with the use of mother liquid by adding aluminum source after 2 h of reaction. Compared with FAU/LTA-0, the crystal twinning structure of FAU/LTA-lb became weaker, the grain size was smaller, and the thermostability was better. With a lower dosage of mother liquid, the content of P-type impurity in product decreased significantly, and the content of LTA phase increased. The reuse rate of mother liquid can reach 48%. The CECs of FAU/LTA-I b-150 can reach 343 mg CaCO3. g-1 and 180 mg MgC03. g-1, showing more excellent adsorption capacities than FAU/LTA-0 and commercial zeolite 4A. The full recycling use of mother liquid to synthesize zeolite FAU/LTA which can be applied for detergent not only improves resource utilization but also reduces oroduction cost.展开更多

By using purely mathematical transformations, the decou...A novel adaptive fault-tolerant control scheme in the differential algebraic framework was proposed for attitude control of a heavy lift launch vehicle (HLLV). By using purely mathematical transformations, the decoupled input-output representations of HLLV were derived, rendering three decoupled second-order systems, i.e., pitch, yaw and roll channels. Based on a new type of numerical differentiator, a differential algebraic observer (DAO) was proposed for estimating the system states and the generalized disturbances, including various disturbances and additive fault torques. Driven by DAOs, three improved proportional-integral- differential (PID) controllers with disturbance compensation were designed for pitch, yaw and roll control. All signals in the closed-loop system were guaranteed to be ultimately uniformly bounded by utilization of Lyapunov's indirect method. The convincing numerical simulations indicate that the proposed control scheme is successful in achieving high performance in the presence of parametric perturbations, external disturbances, noisy corruptions, and actuator faults.展开更多
As a preliminary investigation towards obtaining carbon nanotube composite adsorbent for CO2 capture, in this study CO2 adsorption performance of three commercial carbon nanotubes (CNTs) one single-walled carbon nan...As a preliminary investigation towards obtaining carbon nanotube composite adsorbent for CO2 capture, in this study CO2 adsorption performance of three commercial carbon nanotubes (CNTs) one single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs), and two (2) different multi-walled carbon nanotubes (referred to as A-MWCNTs and B-MWCNTs) were evaluated and compared. The purpose of this study was to compare the different types of CNTs and select the best to serve as the solid anchor in the development of a hydrophobic composite adsorbent material for CO2 capture. The N2 physi- sorption of the CNTs was conducted to determine their surface area, pore volume and pore size. In addition, morphology and purity of the CNTs were checked with Transmission Electron Microscopy and Raman Spectroscopy, respectively. The CO2 adsorption capacity of the CNTs was evaluated using Thermo-gravimetric analysis (TGA) at 1.1 bar, at operating temperature ranged from 25 to 55 ~C and at different CO2 feed flow rates, in order to evaluate the effects of these variables on the CO2 adsorption capacity. The results of CO2 adsorption with the TGA show that CO2 adsorption capacity for both SWCNTs and MWCNTs was the highest at 25 ~C. Changing the CO2 flowrates had no significant effect on the adsorption capacity of MWCNTs, but decreasing the CO2 flow rate resulted in the enhancement of the CO2 adsorption capacity of SWCNTs. Overall, it was found that the SWCNTs displayed the highest CO2 adsorption capacity (29.97 gCO2/kg ad- sorbent) when compared to the MWCNTs (12.09 gCO2/kg adsorbent), indicating a 150% increase in adsorption capacity over MWCNTs.展开更多

Using comprehensive observation datasets, this study analyzes the evolutio...On March 16–17, 2008, a sea fog occurred in Dianbai in the west of Guangdong Province and was accompanied by a high-pressure synoptic system. Using comprehensive observation datasets, this study analyzes the evolution of liquid water content during this sea fog and investigates the relationships between liquid water content and the average diameters and count densities of fog droplets, air temperature, wind speed and turbulence exchanges. The main results are presented as follows. (1) The sea fog showed a quasi-periodic oscillation characteristic, i.e., it developed, disappeared and then developed again. (2) During the sea fog, the number of fog droplets changed significantly while the changes in average diameter of the fog droplets were relatively small. The development and disappearance of the sea fog correlated significantly with the fog droplet numbers. (3) The air-cooling mechanism played a significant role in sea fog formation and development. However, the influences of this mechanism were not evident during fog persistence. (4) During sea fog formation, weak turbulence exchanges were helpful for fog formation. During sea fog development and persistence, liquid water content increased when turbulence exchanges weakened, and vice versa. The changes in turbulence exchanges were closely related to the quasi-periodic oscillations observed in sea fog presence.展开更多

The influence of Fe^(3+) a...Large scaled uniform and size-controllable magnetic submicroparticles(MSPs) were synthesized via solvothermal method with ferric chloride as iron source and sodium acetate as trapping agent. The influence of Fe^(3+) and Na Ac contents on the size distribution of MSPs was investigated. The structural and morphological properties of the synthesized particles were studied by scanning electron microscopy(SEM), X-ray power diffraction(XRD) and vibrating sample magnetometer(VSM). The well-dispersed MSPs with size of 100-1000 nm were obtained by simply adjusting the contents of Fe^(3+) and NaA c. In addition, the hemolysis and cytotoxicity of Fe_3O_4 MSPs, and their ability to case arrest in cell life-cycles were studied. The results indicate that larger size could lead to lower hemolysis. From MTT(3-(4,5-dimethylthuazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide) assay, the interactions between MSPs and adhesive mouse fibroblast cell line(L929) were probed. Larger size of Fe_3O_4 MSPs demonstrates lower cell viability following an exposure to the cells.展开更多

Simulated results of PHs seasonal ...An environmental capacity model for the petroleum hydrocarbon pollutions (PHs) in Jiaozhou Bay is constructed based on field surveys, mesocosm, and parallel laboratory experiments. Simulated results of PHs seasonal successions in 2003 match the field surveys of Jiaozhou Bay resaonably well with a highest value in July. The Monte Carlo analysis confirms that the variation of PHs concentration significantly correlates with the river input. The water body in the bay is reasonably subjected to self-purification processes, such as volatilization to the atmosphere, biodegradation by microorganism, and transport to the Yellow Sea by water exchange. The environmental capacity of PHs in Jiaozhou Bay is 1500 tons per year IF the seawater quality criterion (Grade Ⅰ/Ⅱ, 0.05 mgLl) in the region is to be satisfied. The contribution to self-purification by volatilization, biodegradation, and transport to the Yellow Sea accounts for 48%, 28%, and 23%, respectively, which make these three processes the main ways of PHs purification in Jiaozhou Bay.展开更多

As a result, implanted electronic devices can irritate and damage...Most biological tissues are supple and elastic, while current electronic devices fabricated by semiconductors and metals are usually stiff and brittle. As a result, implanted electronic devices can irritate and damage surrounding tissues, causing immune reaction and scarring. In this work, we develop stretchable microelectrode arrays, with the development of a novel soft lithography technology, which are designed and fabricated with a polymer/stretchable metal/polymer sandwich structure. With the great deformability of stretch, compression, bend and twisting, while preserving electrical property, this technology overcomes the fundamental mismatch of mechanical properties between biological tissues and electronic devices, and provides highly-compliant, confonnal and stretchable bio-electronic interfaces. Here we also describe the following three applications of the stretchable electrode arrays: a. monitoring intracranial electroencephalography (EEG); b. stimulating peripheral nerves to drive muscles; c. monitoring epicardial electrocardiography (ECG). Stretchable microelectrode arrays create a promising field in biomedical applications for its better modulus match with biological tissues and robust mechanical and electrical properties. They allow for construction of electronic integrated circuits spread over on complex and dynamic curved surfaces, providing a much friendlier bio-electronic interface for diagnosis, treatment and in- telligent bio-control.展开更多
Nickel hexacyanoferrate (NiHCF) film was synthesized on porous three-dimensional carbon felt (PTCF) substrate by repetitious batch chemical depositions, and the NiHCF/PTCF electrode was used as electrochemically switc...Nickel hexacyanoferrate (NiHCF) film was synthesized on porous three-dimensional carbon felt (PTCF) substrate by repetitious batch chemical depositions, and the NiHCF/PTCF electrode was used as electrochemically switched ion exchange (ESIX) electrode in a packed bed for continuous separation for cesium ions. The morphologies of the prepared electrodes were characterized by scanning electron microscopy and the effects of solution concentration on the ion-exchange capacity of the electrodes were investigated by cyclic voltammetry technique. Cycling stability and long-term storage stability of NiHCF/PTCF electrodes were also studied. The NiHCF/PTCF electrodes with excellent ion-exchange ability were used to assemble a diaphragm-isolated ESIX reactor for cesium separation. Continuous separation of cesium and regeneration of NiHCF/PTCF electrode based on the diaphragm-isolated reactor were performed in a laboratory-scale two-electrode system.展开更多
Distinguished from commonly used Fe2O3 and Fe3O4,a three-dimensional multilevel macromicro-mesoporous structure of FeC2O4/graphene composite has been prepared as binderfree electrode for supercapacitors.The as-prepare...Distinguished from commonly used Fe2O3 and Fe3O4,a three-dimensional multilevel macromicro-mesoporous structure of FeC2O4/graphene composite has been prepared as binderfree electrode for supercapacitors.The as-prepared materials are composed of macroporous graphene and microporous/mesoporous ferrous oxalate.Generally,the decomposition voltage of water is 1.23 V and the practical voltage window limit is about 2 V for asymmetric supercapacitors in aqueous electrolytes.When FeC2O4/rGO hydrogel was used as the negative electrode and a pure rGO hydrogel was used as the positive electrode,the asymmetrical supercapacitor voltage window raised to 1.7 V in KOH(1.0 mol/L)electrolyte and reached up to 2.5 V in a neutral aqueous Na2SO4(1.0 mol/L)electrolyte.Correspondingly it also exhibits a high performance with an energy density of 59.7 Wh/kg.By means of combining a metal oxide that owns micro-mesoporous structure with graphene,this work provides a new opportunity for preparing high-voltage aqueous asymmetric supercapacitors without addition of conductive agent and binder.展开更多

文摘The hierarchical ZnMn2O4/Mn3O4 composite sub-microrods were synthesized via a water-in-oil microemulsion method followed by calcination.The ZnMn2O4/Mn3O4 electrode displays an intriguing capacity increasing from 440 to 910 mA·h/g at 500 mA/g during 550 consecutive discharge/charge cycles,and delivers an ultrahigh capacity of 1276 mA·h/g at 100 mA/g,which is much greater than the theoretical capacity of either ZnMn2O4 or Mn3O4 electrode.To investigate the underlying mechanism of this phenomenon,cyclic voltammetry and differential capacity analysis were applied,both of which reveal the emergence and the growth of new reversible redox reactions upon charge/discharge cycling.The new reversible conversions are probably the results of an activation process of the electrode material during the cycling process,leading to the climbing charge storage.However,the capacity exceeding the theoretical value indicates that there are still other factors contributing to the increasing capacity.

文摘The differential cubature solution to the problem of a Mindlin plate lying on the Winkler foundation with two simply supported edges and two clamped edges was derived.Discrete numerical technology and shape functions were used to ensure that the solution is suitable to irregular shaped plates.Then,the mechanical model and the solution were employed to model the protection layer that isolates the mining stopes from sea water in Sanshandao gold mine,which is the first subsea mine of China.Furthermore,thickness optimizations for the protection layers above each stope were conducted based on the maximum principle stress criterion,and the linear relations between the best protection layer thickness and the stope area under different safety factors were regressed to guide the isolation design.The method presented in this work provides a practical way to quickly design the isolation layer thickness in subsea mining.

文摘We generalize a simple model for superlattices to include the effect of differential capacitance. It is shown that the model always has a stable steady-state solution (SSS) if all differential capacitances are positive. On the other hand, when negative differential capacitance is included, the model can have no stable SSS and be in a self-sustained current oscillation behavior. Therefore, we find a possible minimum toy model with both negative differential resistance and negative differential capacitance which can include the phenomena of both self-sustained current oscillation and I-V oscillation of stable SSSs.

文摘Co-crystalline zeolite FAU/LTA-0 was synthesized by hydrothermal method from lithium slag. To make the most of excess silicon and alkali sources in mother liquid derived from FAU/LTA-0, zeolite FAU/LTA-I b was synthesized in the same method with the use of mother liquid by adding a certain amount of aluminum source. Influences of different adding ways of aluminum source and recycling dosages of mother liquid on synthesis of zeolites FALl/ LTA with mother liquid were investigated. The phase, microstructure and thermostability of FAU/LTA-0 and FAU/LTA-lb were characterized by XRD, SEM and TG-DTA. The calcium and magnesium cation exchange capacities (CECs) of the zeolites were determined. The results have shown that co-crystalline zeolite can be synthesized with the use of mother liquid by adding aluminum source after 2 h of reaction. Compared with FAU/LTA-0, the crystal twinning structure of FAU/LTA-lb became weaker, the grain size was smaller, and the thermostability was better. With a lower dosage of mother liquid, the content of P-type impurity in product decreased significantly, and the content of LTA phase increased. The reuse rate of mother liquid can reach 48%. The CECs of FAU/LTA-I b-150 can reach 343 mg CaCO3. g-1 and 180 mg MgC03. g-1, showing more excellent adsorption capacities than FAU/LTA-0 and commercial zeolite 4A. The full recycling use of mother liquid to synthesize zeolite FAU/LTA which can be applied for detergent not only improves resource utilization but also reduces oroduction cost.

文摘A novel adaptive fault-tolerant control scheme in the differential algebraic framework was proposed for attitude control of a heavy lift launch vehicle (HLLV). By using purely mathematical transformations, the decoupled input-output representations of HLLV were derived, rendering three decoupled second-order systems, i.e., pitch, yaw and roll channels. Based on a new type of numerical differentiator, a differential algebraic observer (DAO) was proposed for estimating the system states and the generalized disturbances, including various disturbances and additive fault torques. Driven by DAOs, three improved proportional-integral- differential (PID) controllers with disturbance compensation were designed for pitch, yaw and roll control. All signals in the closed-loop system were guaranteed to be ultimately uniformly bounded by utilization of Lyapunov's indirect method. The convincing numerical simulations indicate that the proposed control scheme is successful in achieving high performance in the presence of parametric perturbations, external disturbances, noisy corruptions, and actuator faults.
文摘As a preliminary investigation towards obtaining carbon nanotube composite adsorbent for CO2 capture, in this study CO2 adsorption performance of three commercial carbon nanotubes (CNTs) one single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs), and two (2) different multi-walled carbon nanotubes (referred to as A-MWCNTs and B-MWCNTs) were evaluated and compared. The purpose of this study was to compare the different types of CNTs and select the best to serve as the solid anchor in the development of a hydrophobic composite adsorbent material for CO2 capture. The N2 physi- sorption of the CNTs was conducted to determine their surface area, pore volume and pore size. In addition, morphology and purity of the CNTs were checked with Transmission Electron Microscopy and Raman Spectroscopy, respectively. The CO2 adsorption capacity of the CNTs was evaluated using Thermo-gravimetric analysis (TGA) at 1.1 bar, at operating temperature ranged from 25 to 55 ~C and at different CO2 feed flow rates, in order to evaluate the effects of these variables on the CO2 adsorption capacity. The results of CO2 adsorption with the TGA show that CO2 adsorption capacity for both SWCNTs and MWCNTs was the highest at 25 ~C. Changing the CO2 flowrates had no significant effect on the adsorption capacity of MWCNTs, but decreasing the CO2 flow rate resulted in the enhancement of the CO2 adsorption capacity of SWCNTs. Overall, it was found that the SWCNTs displayed the highest CO2 adsorption capacity (29.97 gCO2/kg ad- sorbent) when compared to the MWCNTs (12.09 gCO2/kg adsorbent), indicating a 150% increase in adsorption capacity over MWCNTs.

文摘On March 16–17, 2008, a sea fog occurred in Dianbai in the west of Guangdong Province and was accompanied by a high-pressure synoptic system. Using comprehensive observation datasets, this study analyzes the evolution of liquid water content during this sea fog and investigates the relationships between liquid water content and the average diameters and count densities of fog droplets, air temperature, wind speed and turbulence exchanges. The main results are presented as follows. (1) The sea fog showed a quasi-periodic oscillation characteristic, i.e., it developed, disappeared and then developed again. (2) During the sea fog, the number of fog droplets changed significantly while the changes in average diameter of the fog droplets were relatively small. The development and disappearance of the sea fog correlated significantly with the fog droplet numbers. (3) The air-cooling mechanism played a significant role in sea fog formation and development. However, the influences of this mechanism were not evident during fog persistence. (4) During sea fog formation, weak turbulence exchanges were helpful for fog formation. During sea fog development and persistence, liquid water content increased when turbulence exchanges weakened, and vice versa. The changes in turbulence exchanges were closely related to the quasi-periodic oscillations observed in sea fog presence.

文摘Fault tolerance in microprocessor systems has become a popular topic of architecture research. Much work has been done at different levels to accomplish reliability against soft errors, and some fault tolerance architectures have been proposed. But little attention is paid to the thread level superscalar fault tolerance. This letter introduces microthread concept into superscalar processor fault tolerance domain, and puts forward a novel fault tolerance architecture, namely, MicroThread Based (MTB) coarse grained transient fault tolerance superscalar processor architecture, then discusses some detailed implementations.

文摘Large scaled uniform and size-controllable magnetic submicroparticles(MSPs) were synthesized via solvothermal method with ferric chloride as iron source and sodium acetate as trapping agent. The influence of Fe^(3+) and Na Ac contents on the size distribution of MSPs was investigated. The structural and morphological properties of the synthesized particles were studied by scanning electron microscopy(SEM), X-ray power diffraction(XRD) and vibrating sample magnetometer(VSM). The well-dispersed MSPs with size of 100-1000 nm were obtained by simply adjusting the contents of Fe^(3+) and NaA c. In addition, the hemolysis and cytotoxicity of Fe_3O_4 MSPs, and their ability to case arrest in cell life-cycles were studied. The results indicate that larger size could lead to lower hemolysis. From MTT(3-(4,5-dimethylthuazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide) assay, the interactions between MSPs and adhesive mouse fibroblast cell line(L929) were probed. Larger size of Fe_3O_4 MSPs demonstrates lower cell viability following an exposure to the cells.

文摘An environmental capacity model for the petroleum hydrocarbon pollutions (PHs) in Jiaozhou Bay is constructed based on field surveys, mesocosm, and parallel laboratory experiments. Simulated results of PHs seasonal successions in 2003 match the field surveys of Jiaozhou Bay resaonably well with a highest value in July. The Monte Carlo analysis confirms that the variation of PHs concentration significantly correlates with the river input. The water body in the bay is reasonably subjected to self-purification processes, such as volatilization to the atmosphere, biodegradation by microorganism, and transport to the Yellow Sea by water exchange. The environmental capacity of PHs in Jiaozhou Bay is 1500 tons per year IF the seawater quality criterion (Grade Ⅰ/Ⅱ, 0.05 mgLl) in the region is to be satisfied. The contribution to self-purification by volatilization, biodegradation, and transport to the Yellow Sea accounts for 48%, 28%, and 23%, respectively, which make these three processes the main ways of PHs purification in Jiaozhou Bay.

文摘Most biological tissues are supple and elastic, while current electronic devices fabricated by semiconductors and metals are usually stiff and brittle. As a result, implanted electronic devices can irritate and damage surrounding tissues, causing immune reaction and scarring. In this work, we develop stretchable microelectrode arrays, with the development of a novel soft lithography technology, which are designed and fabricated with a polymer/stretchable metal/polymer sandwich structure. With the great deformability of stretch, compression, bend and twisting, while preserving electrical property, this technology overcomes the fundamental mismatch of mechanical properties between biological tissues and electronic devices, and provides highly-compliant, confonnal and stretchable bio-electronic interfaces. Here we also describe the following three applications of the stretchable electrode arrays: a. monitoring intracranial electroencephalography (EEG); b. stimulating peripheral nerves to drive muscles; c. monitoring epicardial electrocardiography (ECG). Stretchable microelectrode arrays create a promising field in biomedical applications for its better modulus match with biological tissues and robust mechanical and electrical properties. They allow for construction of electronic integrated circuits spread over on complex and dynamic curved surfaces, providing a much friendlier bio-electronic interface for diagnosis, treatment and in- telligent bio-control.

文摘Nickel hexacyanoferrate (NiHCF) film was synthesized on porous three-dimensional carbon felt (PTCF) substrate by repetitious batch chemical depositions, and the NiHCF/PTCF electrode was used as electrochemically switched ion exchange (ESIX) electrode in a packed bed for continuous separation for cesium ions. The morphologies of the prepared electrodes were characterized by scanning electron microscopy and the effects of solution concentration on the ion-exchange capacity of the electrodes were investigated by cyclic voltammetry technique. Cycling stability and long-term storage stability of NiHCF/PTCF electrodes were also studied. The NiHCF/PTCF electrodes with excellent ion-exchange ability were used to assemble a diaphragm-isolated ESIX reactor for cesium separation. Continuous separation of cesium and regeneration of NiHCF/PTCF electrode based on the diaphragm-isolated reactor were performed in a laboratory-scale two-electrode system.

文摘Distinguished from commonly used Fe2O3 and Fe3O4,a three-dimensional multilevel macromicro-mesoporous structure of FeC2O4/graphene composite has been prepared as binderfree electrode for supercapacitors.The as-prepared materials are composed of macroporous graphene and microporous/mesoporous ferrous oxalate.Generally,the decomposition voltage of water is 1.23 V and the practical voltage window limit is about 2 V for asymmetric supercapacitors in aqueous electrolytes.When FeC2O4/rGO hydrogel was used as the negative electrode and a pure rGO hydrogel was used as the positive electrode,the asymmetrical supercapacitor voltage window raised to 1.7 V in KOH(1.0 mol/L)electrolyte and reached up to 2.5 V in a neutral aqueous Na2SO4(1.0 mol/L)electrolyte.Correspondingly it also exhibits a high performance with an energy density of 59.7 Wh/kg.By means of combining a metal oxide that owns micro-mesoporous structure with graphene,this work provides a new opportunity for preparing high-voltage aqueous asymmetric supercapacitors without addition of conductive agent and binder.
