Acoustic signal generated by PD was selected to remove excessive interfering signals and electromagnetic interferences. Acoustic signals were collected and decomposed into I0 levels by wavelet transform into approximation and detail components. “Daubechies 25” was proved to be the most suitable mother wavelet for the extraction of PD acoustic signals. Compared with conventional wavelet denoising method, Teager's energy operators were adopted to the PD signal reconstruction and the signal to noise ratio was in creased by 20%-25% inthe experiment, without lost in energy and pulse amplitude.展开更多

With the sample sequences, which need at most 7 points and are sampled at a sample frequency of 25600 Hz, and computation sequences, using employed a formulation proposed in this paper, the frequencies of each component of the signal are all estimated at an accuracy of 0.001% over 1 Hz to 800 kHz with the amplitudes of each component of the signal varying from 1 V to 200 V and the phase angle of each component of the signal varying from 0° to 360°. The proposed algorithm needs at most a half cycle for the frequencies of each component of the signal under noisy or non-noisy conditions. A testing example is given to illustrate the proposed algorithm in Matlab environment.展开更多

Using array techniques, the author performed identification, f-k analysis, velocity spectrum analysis, etc. of the weak signals. The analysis results show that the signal-to-noise ratio after beamforming was obviously enhanced, and the signal could be clearly shown. The energy from this explosion was mainly concentrated in the 1 -8Hz range from f-k analysis. The velocity spectrum gave clear positions of event phases, which could not be seen in the original weak signals. The maximum energy distribution obtained by the Beaman method is close to the theoretical value in the azimuth-slowness domain.展开更多

The micro flow sensor, developed by Innovative Sensor Technology AG (Switzerland), is by principle a calorimetric flow sensor produced as a micro system on a glass substrate by means of photolithography and glass etching technology. These structures are arranged as a platinum micro heater and sensor in a Wheatstone bridge. The subsequent etching process produces an exposed area of polyimide membrane that is only a few microns thick and includes the resistive sensor structure as the active area. In addition, the RTD (resistance temperature detector) technology included on the sensor allows for the implementation of a variety of electronic biasing and signal processing modes. Since the sensor can be powered and the bridge can be measured in both CTA (constant temperature anemometer) and calorimetric mode, new possibilities are presented for both low and high flow rates with regard to temperature compensation, self-calibration and self-monitoring.展开更多

We show that our nonlinear-cavity quantum amplifier has large gain in the single-value stable regime and achieves quantum limit unconditionally.展开更多
