The data of the amount of Cd sorption (Aq) and concentration of Cd in equilibrium solution(Ce), and the data of Aq and the heat effect (AH) caused by Cd^2+ sorption on goethite all fitted Langmuirisotherm. The amount of heat released from Cd sorption on goethite increased with the amount of Ce or Aq.The reaction process of Cd sorption on goethite may be divided into five stages and three plateaus, dependingon the variation of enthalpy change (.Hm) of Cd sorption with Aq, which implied three mechanisms ofinteraCtion between Cd and goethite. The experimental results showed that the microcalorimetry may beuseful for determination of microcalorie variation in soil.展开更多
Effects of electroacupuncture (EA) and routine acupuncture with twirling reinforcing and reducing manipulation of the needle (RA) both at Zusanli point (St 36) on volume of microcirculatory blood flow in the cerebral ...Effects of electroacupuncture (EA) and routine acupuncture with twirling reinforcing and reducing manipulation of the needle (RA) both at Zusanli point (St 36) on volume of microcirculatory blood flow in the cerebral pia mater were observed by fenestration of the cranial bone and laser Doppler microcirculatory blood flow analyser. Results showed that both RA and EA could increase the volume of microcirculatory blood flow in the cerebral pia mater; and that the increase in the EA group was superior to that in RA group. Method: Separat...Objective: To establish the animal model of the compressed lumbar nerve and investigate the effect of acupuncture to the ultra-micro structure of the injured rat lumbar nerve and inflammatory medium. Method: Separate the laboratory rats into Group A (model group, n= 45) and Group B(model + electroacupuncture group, n = 45). observe injured lumbar nerve tissue with optic microscope and electron microscope and measure the content of PGE2 and 5-HT. Results: Hyperemia around the nerve tissue, edema and nerve root demyelination of electroacupuncture 15 day (Group B) is less than model group 15 day (Group A). The structure of Schwann cell is normal. Demyelination of electroacupuncture 30 day group (Group B) becomes slight and the nerve edema alleviates. In the Group B, contents of PGE2. and 5-HT after electroacupuncture obviously decrease compared to the Group A. Conclusion: Electroacupuncture can alleviates inflammatory reaction around the injured lumbar nerve and improve the ultra-micro structure of lumbar nerve root.展开更多

But, the electr...As a component of traditional Chinese medical therapies, the therapeutic effects of acupuncture for some nervous system diseases have been proven by a large number of clinical and experimental studies. But, the electrophysiological techniques of the commonly used EEG and evoked potentials are still not sufficient to reveal the functional mechanism of acupuncture therapy. The recording technique of microelectrode array (MEA), a kind of electrophysiological technique originated from the overseas biological electrical signal monitoring technique, can be used to record multiple electrical signals of the nervous cells in vivo or in vitro, and maintain the accuracy and stability of the recorded information at the same time, which greatly enriches the means of electrophysiological study. This technique has been already applied in the basic study and clinical treatment abroad, but it is very seldom used in the study of acupuncture field. In order to guide the application of MEA in the research field of acupuncture science, a general survey about the application of MEA technique in vivo was done, and the present situation and prospects of the application of the technique in acupuncture science was briefly analyzed.展开更多
