小学课程育德——以小学语文、数学课程为例

Ethical Awareness: Do We Need to Teach Accounting Ethics? The Case of Bahrain

Based on the premise that ethics education leads to creation of the required (acceptable level of) ethical awareness, the general streamline of accounting ethics literature is strongly in favor of teaching adequate, efficient, and effective accounting ethics. This paper takes the position that this premise must be checked in an educational setting in which accounting ethics education lacks the characteristics of being adequate, efficient, and effective. Accordingly, a questionnaire with two parts was distributed to accounting students about to graduate from the University of Bahrain (UoB). The first part is an exploratory investigation consisting of 21 variables/questions. The second part is an experimental investigation consisting of 13 hypothetical accounting cases representing various ethics violations. The general tendency by an accounting student based on the two parts indicates that he/she holds an acceptable level of ethical awareness, despite the fact that accounting education programs lack an adequate, efficient, and effective approach to teaching accounting ethics. 展开更多

In order to implement the requirement of Minislry of Education, "further deepen the reform of moral education courses, and play a role in the classroom main channel", with literature analysis, case studies and other methods, we make an objective analysis of the real issues of "sports disciplines teaching moral education ". The results show that physical teachers should effectively improve the penetration ideology and moral education wisdom and teaching skills; they should grasp the connection between moral and discipline and integrate "moral goals" organically into a three-dimensional target subjects, and implemented it in accordance with the corresponding dimension specific content; in the implementation process, we should focus on using a variety of learning styles, making clever use of resources and make the best use; we need to persevere, to strengthen the sports discipline of moral norms infiltration operations, and better protect the effective penetration of Physical Education in Moral Education. 展开更多

On one hand, it is because the juvenile education is in the most basic and critical stage of the whole education stage, which is in the stage of the biggest influence of education development; on the other hand, it is because the young people are active and curious by nature, which will cause the difficulty of moral education to increase in the education process. Various countries and regions in the world have their own unique cultures and adjustments,and these different cultures affect the residents of different countries and regions with different living habits, ways of thinking and behaviors; thus forming different cultural differences. With the development of information technology, there is a stronger appeal for humanistic education. The low efficiency of China's current English foreign language teaching (EFLT) and the ever-present affect and behavioral problems with middle school and college students set stronger requirements for humanistic education in English classes. Studies show that mere cultivation of competence itself is powerless to solve the problems. This paper attempts a tentative exploration into humanistic education in EFLT concerning curriculum, course-design, evaluation and classroom instruction. It further proposes a three-staged approach to classroom instruction, suggesting a way to go one step further from cultivation of competence to humanistic education. 展开更多
