In present China, both the national policy and market of housing system are in the process of perfecting, which pay more attention to the low-income residents and rural residents. This paper chooses Tianjin, the third pole of China development as the example for research. Tianjin public housing residential district planning explored a mode of ＂large-scale mix and small-scale pure＂ for the whole homeland development. It confirms that regional coordination, ecological concepts, green transport, space characteristics and appropriate technology is important in planning.展开更多

This formulation leads to an extremely simple and fast algo...A least squares version of the recently proposed weighted twin support vector machine with local information(WLTSVM) for binary classification is formulated. This formulation leads to an extremely simple and fast algorithm, called least squares weighted twin support vector machine with local information(LSWLTSVM), for generating binary classifiers based on two non-parallel hyperplanes. Two modified primal problems of WLTSVM are attempted to solve, instead of two dual problems usually solved. The solution of the two modified problems reduces to solving just two systems of linear equations as opposed to solving two quadratic programming problems along with two systems of linear equations in WLTSVM. Moreover, two extra modifications were proposed in LSWLTSVM to improve the generalization capability. One is that a hot kernel function, not the simple-minded definition in WLTSVM, is used to define the weight matrix of adjacency graph, which ensures that the underlying similarity information between any pair of data points in the same class can be fully reflected. The other is that the weight for each point in the contrary class is considered in constructing equality constraints, which makes LSWLTSVM less sensitive to noise points than WLTSVM. Experimental results indicate that LSWLTSVM has comparable classification accuracy to that of WLTSVM but with remarkably less computational time.展开更多
Acute leukemia is the most common childhood cancer and accounts for 31% of all cancers in children. There are two main types of acute leukemia. The most common is ALL （acute lymphoblastic leukemia） affecting the lym...Acute leukemia is the most common childhood cancer and accounts for 31% of all cancers in children. There are two main types of acute leukemia. The most common is ALL （acute lymphoblastic leukemia） affecting the lymphoid lineage, and the more rare AML （acute myeloid leukemia） affecting the myeloid linage. The intention of this thesis is to follow the course of treatment from the admission to the hospital until the last check up and also see how a child will react to the treatment and side effects in later life. We studied literature and my own case records from the period when I was treated for ALL. From the literature and my case records, we can see that children tolerate treatment quite well. Due to rapid diagnostics and the possibility to give high doses chemotherapy, the overall prognosis appears to be very good. Today, acute leukemias of paediatric patients have a really favourable prognosis. The overall survival rate for ALL is higher than 80% and for AML 65%. So the results are good, but there is still a long way to go before we can be satisfied. To date we do not have a contingency program for children treated for acute leukemia after 18 years of age （neither in Norway or Slovakia） so perhaps this should be a focus point in the future. It could be extended to follow up patients in adulthood in order to monitor late effects that may occur in later life after many years of treatment.展开更多
