基于生态范式的翻译专业课程思政体系构建

生态范式在自然生态平衡的元背景下构筑了人与社会和谐发展的伦理基础。在当前国内广泛开展课程思政教育的大环境下,生态范式对于构建翻译专业课程思政体系具有重要的阐释和指导作用。课程思政教育旨在建立有利于学生全面发展的思政生态共同体,构建翻译专业课程思政体系则应当顺应生态性思政教育模式,坚持“同向同构、译思怡思”的理念,在培养学生职业翻译能力的同时,帮助学生充分感知和养成符合社会生态伦理的理性价值观,寻求群体规约性与个体差异性之间的和谐与平衡,并明确个人的生态定位。只有当学生主动承担起维护社会政治生态和谐平衡的职责,翻译专业才能有效实现立德树人的根本目标。

Questioned on Andre Lefevere＇s ＂Chinese and Western thinking on translation＂

In Andre Lefevere＇s ＂Chinese and Western thinking on translation＂, he has compared the Chinese translation tradition with the tradition of the Western translation. Historically and culturally, he views the similarities and the differences between these two traditions, which has shed much light on extending the horizons of translation studies in China. However, some of his points put forward in the article need a further consideration. The author has a few doubts about the essay and offers her own different opinions.

Confucianism in Du Fu＇s Poetry and Sun Dayu＇s Translation

The great Chinese poet Du Fu＇s poetry in the Dang Dynasty has important significance in the development of the world culture. Confucianism is the main theme of his poetry, which penetrates connotation of benevolence, love of all life and self-cultivation. The famous poet Sun Dayu strived to highlight ideological content and the essence of Confucianism in Du Fu＇s poetry through translation. On the basis of deep understanding of the source text and careful choice of words, Sun Dayu mainly used literal translation, free translation and explanation in order to make the target readers know the spirit of Confucianism. His translation activities showed solicitude for national destiny and historical responsibility.

The Transformation of Thought Patterns in English-Chinese Translation

Translation involves not only formal transformation of two languages concerned, but also conversion of thought patterns. The oriental thought pattern is considered ＂concrete＂, ＂man-centered＂, and ＂ordinal＂; while the western one is believed to be ＂abstract＂, ＂object-centered＂, and ＂conversed＂. These are the decisive factors for the existence of the differences in language expressing. It is of great importance to study these differences and make some adjustments in terms of syntactic structure, semantic focus, and time order so as to achieve a natural rending.

The impact of thinking differences between English and Chinese on translation

Translation is not only a language activity, but also a thinking activity, which involves the conversion of the two languages, and the language is both a thinking tool and the result of thinking. Language and thought are closely related, and they are both interacting and interdependent. Different thinking determines that the expression of both English and Chinese on the same topic is also different. Through the relationship between language and thought, standing on a higher philosophical point of thinking, we can investigate the effect of the differences between English and Chinese translation. The translator can pay more attention to the difference＇ s impact of translation, which assure a higher accuracy of the translation.

The Effectiveness of Using Constructive Learning Strategies in Teaching English Language on Developing the Achievement of Grammar, Translation, and Critical Thinking Skills for the Third Grade Intermediate Students

The study aimed to reveal the effectiveness of the integration between some constructive learning strategies in teaching a unit of the English language course to collect translation skills, using grammar, and the acquisition of critical thinking skills for intermediate third grade students in Mecca. Also, it aimed to acknowledge the statistical differences between the modified averages for the study sample groups degrees in the dimensional collecting of grammar and translation skills at the knowledge of the grammar level and using it, and at the macro level for collecting translation and grammar skills after adjusting the old collecting, as well as the knowledge of the statistical differences between the modified averages for the study sample groups in the total telemetric for the critical thinking skills after adjusting the old collecting. To achieve the study objectives, the researcher used the semi-experimental method that had several experimental groups （four groups）, and applied it to a sample of intermediate third-grade students in the city of Makkah （99 students） in teaching the unit of the English language course, which is （Healthy Eating） in the second semester in 2011/2012. After using the appropriate statistical methods, the study came to a result that there are no statistically significant differences in the old implementation for the test of skills of academic achievement of grammar, translation, and critical thinking skills, and that there are statistically significant differences in the new implementation due to the four strategies. According to the results of the study, the researcher recommended a number of recommendations including： the necessity to focus on the constructive theory in teaching English language skills, the importance of expanding the use of the suggested integrative oriented and its development in the field of English language teaching, to hold an intensive training courses for teachers of the English language to train them on using the suggested integrative strategy, the emphasis on the importance of the curriculum activities which focus on the integration between the constructive learning strategies, the importance of expanding of scientific research in the field of integrative strategies, and the development of synthesis methods that combine two strategies or more.
