胡佩诚教授是北京大学的一位医学心理学家,也是我国著名的性心理学家。他曾经担任亚洲与大洋洲性学会的理事长、中国高等医学教育医学心理学分会会长,现担任《中国性科学》杂志的主编,曾出版过160多本学术著作和180多篇学术文章。2008年获得"赫希菲尔德"奖,2010年获得北京大学"桃李奖"。

Discussion of the theories of the humanization in the education and management of the college students

In the education and management, people are the objects of the management, and also are the subjects. So in the education of the college students, how can we effectively carry on the management？ In view of this problem, this paper explains the profound theories with the description of the simple language from three aspects of the basic connotation of the humanization in the educational and management of the college students, the lack of the humanization in the education and management of the college students and its significance, and the thinking of the methods of the humanization in the education and management of the college students, to solve the concept of the humanization in the management, in order to provide the theoretical reference of the humanized management for the educators.

The Necessary Existence of Gravitational Waves and the Repulsive Gravitation

It is exciting that the gravitational wave has been confirmed, according to the announcement of LIGO. Perhaps, this is the time for physicists to fix the Einstein equation for the gravitational wave and the nonexistence of the dynamic solution. These two problems are inextricably related. As a first step, theorists should improve their pure mathematics beyond Einstein on non-linear mathematics and related physical considerations. Then, theoretically we must first show that the gravitational waves necessarily exist that Einstein was not certain. We find that the existence of gravitational waves is due to that the photons must have a gravitational wave component. Next, we must rectify the Einstein equation that has no gravitational wave solution which Einstein has recognized, and no dynamic solution that Einstein failed to see. However, it is very questionable that the measured gravitational waves are due to the black holes that can be definitely valid due to the long distance of the sources. Moreover, since the repulsive gravitation can also generate a gravitational wave, the problem of gravitational wave is actually far more complicated than we have known. A useful feature of the gravitational wave based on repulsive gravitation is that it can be easily generated on earth. Thus this can be a useful tool for communication because it can penetrate any medium.

Parental involvement and gender differences in the psychological profile of freshmen collegiate athletes

Background： The parent-to-child influences can be adaptive and contribute to the optimal psychological well-being and positive perception of the athlete. Contrary to the healthy parental involvement, a family can also have negative effects on an athlete development. The purpose of this study was to determine gender, father involvement, and mother involvement differences in the psychological profiles of collegiate freshmen athletes as measured by perfectionism, physical self-concept, and psychological well-being. Methods： Eighty-two male and 73 female collegiate freshmen responded to self-reported measures of family involvement, perfectionism, physical self-concept, and psychological well-being. Three separate 2 x 2 x 2 （gender x mother involvement x father involvement） factorial multivariate analysis of variance （MANOVAs） were carried out on the respective subscales from the reported measures. Results： There were significant differences for gender as well as father involvement in perfectionism （p 〈 0.01）. Freshmen females had lower concern over mistakes, and greater levels of organization as well as planfulness than males. Furthermore, freshmen athletes with high involved fathers showed greater levels of high standards for others as well as organization. A Game Theory Approach Using Excel

Understanding the behavior of companies in market conditions has been an important topic of studies for the economists and mathematicians. Many companies have treated their relationship of service providers as a game. Thus, the attitudes of the players can be endowed with rational thinking, which leads to the conclusion that the use of game theory as a tool to understand such behavior is of great importance. Based on the previous studies, this paper presents a study on the cooperative game theory, discussing the Nash equilibrium in pure and mixed strategies, treating solutions using the minimax John Von Neumarm theorem and illustrating a mathematical modeling of a game theory problem. Furthermore, a solution of linear programming using Microsoft Excel is also proposed and presented. The methodology adopted to model the problem may help students to familiarize themselves to game theory.

Studies on Various Physico-Chemical Characteristics of Some Vegetable Oils

The industrial chemistry of oils and fats is a mature technology, with decades of experience and refinement behind current practices, therefore some physico-chemical characteristics of eleven vegetable oils sunflower oil （four different manufacturing companies）, olive oil （three different manufacturing companies）, corn oil, castor oil, coconut oil and canola oil in Iraqi Kurdistan region （Hawler city center） have been evaluated according to association of official analytical chemists （AOAC） （1995） official methods. The refractive index, viscosity, acid value, peroxide value, pH values, and values of specific gravity of the vegetable oil samples were measured at various different conditions. The results showed that some of the oil samples have unacceptable values in comparison with the standards.

Pattern of rubber bullet injuries in the lower limbs： A report from Kashmir

Purpose： Rubber bullets are considered a non-lethal method of crowd control and are being used over the world. However the literature regarding the pattern and management of these injuries is scarce for the forensic pathologist as well as for the traumatologist. The objective of this report was to add our experience to the existing literature. Methods： From June 2008 to August 2010 the Government Hospital for Bone and Joint Surgery Barzulla and the Department of Orthopaedics, SKIMS Medical College/Hospital Bemina Srinagar received 28 patients for management of their orthopaedic injuries caused by rubber bullets. We documented all injuries and also recorded the management issues and complications that we encountered. Results： All patients were males with an age range of 11-32 years and were civilians who had been hit by rubber bullets fired by the police and the paramilitary forces. Among them, 19 patients had injuries of the lower limbs and 9 patients had injuries of the upper limbs. All patients were received within 6 h of being shot. Conclusion： Our findings suggest that these weapons are capable of causing significant injuries including fractures and it is important for the surgeon to be well versed with the management of such injuries especially in areas of unrest, The report is also supportive of the opinion that these weapons are lethal and should hence be reclassified_

Physical characteristics of Chinese Hakka

Using standard and internationally validated methods,86 anthropologic characteristics were determined in 650 male(305 from urban areas and 345 from rural areas) and 704 female(331 from urban areas,373 from rural areas) Chinese Hakka adults living in Guangdong and Jiangxi.The data were used to calculate 24 anthropologic indices,which were analyzed statistically.The physical characteristics of Hakka subjects were analyzed and compared with reference ethnic data.There were four main findings of this study.First,a small proportion of Hakka adults had an eye fold on the upper eyelid,but a large proportion had a mongoloid fold.The eye slits were narrow in most adults,had a medium nasal root height and straight bridges,and most of the external angles were prominent.The nasal base was upturned in most men.The distributions of the three types of nasal base in women were similar.The proportions of subjects with middle and high alae nasi heights were high and similar.Males with a maximum nostril diameter were mostly classified as transverse and oblique,while many women were classified as transverse and had relatively wide alae nasi.The round lobe type was the most common.Upper lip skin height was mostly classified as medium.Lips were classified as thin.The hair was black,eyes were brown,and the skin was yellowish.Second,the head length was long in male Hakka.The minimum frontal breadth,face breadth,lip height,and interocular breadth were similar to those of North-Asian populations.Meanwhile,head breadth,morphological facial height,nose breadth,mouth breadth,and nose height were similar to those of South-Asian populations.Head length was long in female Hakka.The minimum frontal breadth,face breadth,lip height,and interocular breadth were similar to those of North-Asian populations.Head breadth,nose breadth,and mouth breadth were similar to those of South-Asian populations.Third,the stature of male and female Hakka in urban and rural areas was classified as medium.The proportions of male and female Hakka classified as mesocephaly(length-breadth index of the head),hypsicephalic type,metriocephalic type(breadth-height index of the head) mesorrhiny,long trunk,subbrachyskelic type,broad shoulder breadth,and narrow distance between iliac crests were higher than those of other types.Finally,principal component analyses showed that the physical characteristics of Hakka were between those of South-Asian and North-Asian ethnic populations,but were generally closer to those of North-Asian populations in China.

Religion and Rationality, Poetry and Philosophy： In Search of the ＂Axial Breakthrough＂ in Ancient Greece

Axial age theory suggests that a major transformation of thought occurred across several civilisations, including ancient Greece, in the period 800-200 BCE. This paper questions whether any such transformation can be identified in ancient Greece. It focuses on texts associated with ＂mystery religions＂ and the works of Presocratic philosophers as potential evidence for transformation. It demonstrates that there was a continuity of thought throughout the period, and that ＂rationality＂ was never seen to be in conflict with ＂traditional religious ideas＂.
