The recycled cathode ray tube(CRT)funnel glass was used as replacement of magnetite sand in the concrete,and its mass replacement rates were 0,20%,40%and 60%,respectively.The flowability,apparent density and mechanical properties of the radiation shielding concrete were investigated,while itsγ-ray radiation shielding parameters such as linear and mass attenuation coefficients(μandμm,respectively),thickness values of half-value layer(hHVL)and tenth-value layer(hTVL)were obtained by theoretical calculation,experiment and Monte.Carlo N-Particle(MCNP)simulation code.The experimental results show that the flowability of the concrete increases significantly,whilst its apparent density,compressive strength and static elastic modulus decrease slightly.The calculated,simulated and experimentalμm,μ,hHVL and hTVL values of all concrete samples are very consistent at the sameγ-ray photon energy,and it is feasible to use MCNP code to simulateγ-ray radiation shielding parameters of materials.The calculated results show that in a wide range ofγ-ray photon energy,theμm value of the concrete with CRT funnel glass replacing magnetite sand is improved effectively,and its radiation shielding performances are the same as those of the control concrete(M.1).By comprehensively comparing the flowability,mechanical properties andγ-ray radiation shielding properties,the concrete samples with 20%.40%funnel glass as fine aggregate have good performances. 展开更多

Objective: To explore and analyze the effect of acupoint application combined with microwave treatment on the intestinal barrier dysfunction with moderately severe acute pancreatitis. Methods: A convenient sample of 90 moderately severe acute pancreatitis was selected from March 2017 to December 2017 in the comprehensive hospital with third grade in Tianjin. The patients were divided into group A (acupoint application combined with microwave treatment), group B (acupoint application) and group C (routine nursing). Thirty patients were included in each group. This study need to get the informed consent of the patients. Acupoint application combined with microwave treatment was used, basing on routine nursing measures in group A. Acupoint application was used by the same way and the same traditional Chinese medicine ,basing on routine nursing measures in group B. Routine nursing used in group C. C-reactive protein and the score of intestinal function were measured on 3 th day, 7 th day and 10 th day, after intervention. To record the effective ratio of the treatment after 10 days of intervention. Results: There are significant statistical difference among the three group after intervention (P < 0.05). Conclusion: In some way, acupoint application combined with microwave treatment are able to decrease the time about the recovery of intestinal barrier dysfunction in moderately severe acute pancreatitis and to alleviate the suffering of patients. 展开更多

AIM:To investigate the mechanisms of Lactobacillus plantarum(L.plantarum)action on gut barrier in preoperative and postoperative experimental obstructive jaundice in rats.METHODS:Forty rats were randomly divided into groups of sham-operation,bile duct ligation(BDL),BDL +L.plantarum,BDL+internal biliary drainage(IBD),and BDL+IBD+L.plantarum.Ten days after L.plantarum administration,blood and ileal samples were collected from the rats for morphological examination,and intestinal barrier function,liver function,intestinal oxidative stress and protein kinase C(PKC)activity measurement.The distribution and expression of the PKC and tight junction(TJ)proteins,such as occludin,zonula occludens-1,claudin-1,claudin-4,junction adhesion molecule-A and F-actin,were examined by confocal laser scanning microscopy,immunohistochemistry,Western blotting,real-time fluorescent quantitative polymerase chain reaction assay.RESULTS:L.plantarum administration substantially restored gut barrier,decreased enterocyte apoptosis,improved intestinal oxidative stress,promoted the activity and expression of protein kinase(BDL vs BDL+L.plantarum,0.295±0.007 vs 0.349±0.003,P<0.05;BDL+IBD vs BDL+IBD+L.plantarum,0.407±0.046 vs 0.465±0.135,P<0.05),and particularly enhanced the expression and phosphorylation of TJ proteins in the experimental obstructive jaundice(BDL vs BDL+L.plantarum,0.266±0.118 vs 0.326±0.009,P<0.05).The protective effect of L.plantarum was more prominent after internal biliary drainage(BDL+IBD vs BDL +IBD+L.plantarum,0.415±0.105 vs 0.494±0.145,P<0.05).CONCLUSION:L.plantarum can decrease intestinal epithelial cell apoptosis,reduce oxidative stress,and prevent TJ disruption in biliary obstruction by activating the PKC pathway. 展开更多

In order to fulfill the ever-growing requirements for electromagnetic interference(EMI)shielding materials,achieving a high efficiency with great flexibility is still a big challenge.Herein,high-performance EMI shielding composite films with excellent mechanical properties were fabricated via a convenient evaporation method using poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene):poly(styrenesulfonate)(PEDOT:PSS)and silver nanowires(Ag NWs)as conductive fillers.By adding 1.38 wt% Ag NWs into the original polyvinyl alcohol/PEDOT:PSS(PVA/PEDOT:PSS)composite,the obtained film with a thickness of about 20μm shows a remarkable EMI shielding performance(~33 dB)and a special EMI shielding efficiency of 16,800 dB cm^(-1) at 10 GHz.Furthermore,PVA/PEDOT:PSS/Ag NWs films present excellent tensile strength(~62.39 MPa)and elongation at break(~29.3%).The good mechanism allows the films to apply in actual harsh environments.Overall,this study will draw attention to the new films for electromagnetic shielding application. 展开更多

Spintronics has received a great attention and significant interest within the past decades,and provided considerable and remarked applications in industry and electronic information etc.In spintronics,the MgO based magnetic tunnel junction(MTJ) is an important research advancement because of its physical properties and excellent performance,such as the high TMR ratio in MgO based MTJs.We present an overview of more than a decade development in MgO based MTJs.The review contains three main sections.(1) Research of several types of MgO based MTJs,including single-crystal MgO barrier based-MTJs,double barrier MTJs,MgO based MTJs with interlayer,novel electrode material MTJs based on MgO,novel barrier based MTJs,novel barrier MTJs based on MgO,and perpendicular MTJs.(2) Some typical physical effects in MgO based MTJs,which include six observed physical effects in MgO based MTJs,namely spin transfer torque(STT) effect,Coulomb blockade magnetoresistance(CBMR) effect,oscillatory magnetoresistance,quantum-well resonance tunneling effect,electric field assisted magnetization switching effect,and spincaloric effect.(3) In the last section,a brief introduction of some important device applications of MgO based MTJs,such as GMR & TMR read heads and magneto-sensitive sensors,both field and current switching MRAM,spin nano oscillators,and spin logic devices,have been provided. 展开更多

This paper proposes a new infeasible interior-point algorithm with full-Newton steps for P_*(κ) linear complementarity problem(LCP),which is an extension of the work by Roos(SIAM J.Optim.,2006,16(4):1110-1136).The main iteration consists of a feasibility step and several centrality steps.The authors introduce a specific kernel function instead of the classic logarithmical barrier function to induce the feasibility step,so the analysis of the feasibility step is different from that of Roos' s.This kernel function has a finite value on the boundary.The result of iteration complexity coincides with the currently known best one for infeasible interior-point methods for P_*(κ) LCP.Some numerical results are reported as well. 展开更多

Increase of microvascular permeability is one of the most important pathological events in the pathogenesis of trauma and burn injury. Massive leakage of fluid from vascular space leads to lose of blood plasma and decrease of effective circulatory blood volume, result- ing in formation of severe tissue edema, hypotension or even shock, especially in severe burn injury. Fluid resusci- tation has been the only valid approach to sustain patient's blood volume for a long time, due to the lack of overall and profound understanding of the mechanisms of vascular hyperpermeability response. There is an emerging concept in recent years that some so-called barrier stabilizing media- tors play a positive role in preventing the increase ofvascu-lar permeability. These mediators may be released in re- sponse to proinflammatory mediators and serve to restore endothelial barrier function. Some of these stabilizing mediators are important even in quiescent state because they preserve basal vascular permeability at low levels. This review introduces some of these mediators and reveals their underlying signaling mechanisms during endothelial barrier enhancing process. 展开更多
