The effects of substrate rotation speed and target-substrate distance on the electrical, optical properties and microstructure and crystal structures of the resulting films were investigated by scanning electron microscopy(SEM), atomic force microscopy(AFM), X-ray diffraction(XRD), spectrophotometer and Hall-effect measurement system, respectively. XRD results show that all AZO films exhibit a strong preferred c-axis orientation. However, the crystallinity of films decreases with the increase of substrate rotation speed, accompanying with the unbalanced grains grows. For the films prepared at different target-substrate distances, the uniform microstructure and morphology are observed. The highest carrier concentration of 5.9×1020 cm-3 and Hall mobility of 13.1 cm^2/(V·s) are obtained at substrate rotation speed of 0 and target-substrate distance of 7 cm. The results indicate that the structure and performances of the AZO films are strongly affected by substrate rotation speed.展开更多

The β→α transformation kinetics of the grade-2 CP-Ti during continuous cooling was measured and its hot compression behavior was investigated using Gleeble-1500 thermal mechanical simulator. Dynamic CCT diagram confirms that cooling rate has an obvious effect on the start and finishing transformation and microstructures at room temperature. The critical cooling rate for γ-phase transforms to a phase is about 15℃/s. When the cooling rate is higher than 15 ℃/s, some β phases with fine granular shape remain residually into plate-like structure. The plate-like a phase forms at cooling rate lower than 2 ℃/s, serrate a phase forms at medium cooling rates, about 5-15℃/s. The flow stress behavior of grade-2 CP-Ti was investigated in a temperature range of 700-900℃ and strain rate of 3.6-40 mm/min. The results show that dynamic recrystallization, dynamic recovery and work-hardening obviously occur during hot deformation. Constitutive equation of grade-2 CP-Ti was established by analyzing the relationship of the deformation temperature, strain rate, deformation degree and deformation resistance.展开更多

The results indicate that with 310 r/min rotation speed, the microstructure of the sintered alloy is greatly refined, and Zr-phase distributes uniformly. The micro-hardness, bending strength and damping capacities are the greatest under 310 r/min rotation speed. The damping peak of sintered Mg-l.5Zr alloy increases with increasing frequency under the testing conditions. The relaxation time meets the Arrhenius relationship, and shows the characteristics of relaxation damping.展开更多

In this paper, we present a high-speed forwarding pipeline which can finish all of the routing and forwarding tasks in the way of pipelining. We also establish the analysis model of the pipeline with which one can evaluate some key performance parameters of the forwarding engine such as forwarding rate and forwarding delay. We find that the pipeline is of good scalability and can forward unicast packets up to the speed of 40Gbit/s.展开更多

For their resource characteristic, extracting energy from marine/tidal current needs a simple and robust converter, which could overcome the drawbacks of the mechanical system such as gearbox and enhance conversion system stability. In this paper a new AC-DC-AC conversion system has been proposed. The new conversion system contains a middle stage DC-DC boost converter, which boost the generated rectified DC voltage higher enough that can enable the PWM inverter to generate the required voltage with the synchronized frequency. In order to investigate the efficient performance of the proposed conversion system especially at low current speed compared to the conventional one, different operating conditions have been studied. Moreover, the effect of including boost converter on the THD (total harmonic distortion) has also been checked. The new conversion system presents its capability to enhance and improve system performance not only with low current speed but also with high current speed.展开更多
