Gyebangsan (3740 30 N, 12830 1 E), Gangwon Province, South Korea in winter, spring, summer and autumn from September 2000 to November 2001. The investigating results showed that there existed differences in the bird species composition, richness, bird species diversity, guild structure between slope area and valley area, and the vertical forest structure, especially coverage of understory, and diameter at breast height (DBH) distribution also had significant difference between the two study areas. The differences in habitat structure between the areas are very likely to have influences on how birds used the available habitat.展开更多

The experimental dataset included barley from three harvest years, two barley species, 77 barley varieties, and two-row and six-row barley, from 16 cultivation sites. For each sample, the malt quality indices were also assessed according to European Brewing Convention (EBC) standards. Principal component analysis (PCA) was carried out on mean-centred, normalized and derivative spectra using 200/cm width spectral bands. The most informative spectral bands were observed in the 800-1,000/cm and 1,000-1,200/cm ranges. PCA revealed that barley harvested in 2010 and in 2011 had bands that were very close together, while 2009 harvest clearly displayed a difference in its quality. PCA made it possible to distinguish two species and confirmed that two-row winter barley quality was closer to two-row spring barley quality than to six-row winter barley. Results indicate that mid-infrared spectrometry (MIR) could be a very useful and rapid analytical tool to assess barley qualitative quality.展开更多

China and the countries along the Belt and Road continue to promote cooperation, actively use the existing bilateral and multilateral cooperation mechanisms to promote the regional and inter-regional energy cooperation. Countries along the Belt and Road are rich in oil and gas resources; their demand on the diversification of export meet with the diversification demand on imports of consumption countries; and their oil refining and chemical technology as well as construction capacity is weak, which provides a lot of new opportunities in cooperation for Chinese enterprises. However, the energy cooperation of Chinese enterprises are also facing some challenges in the complex environment of energy cooperation, the interference of big powers, non-traditional security threats, and energy policy factors. Finally, the paper puts forward the strategic thinking of China's international energy cooperation under the new situation.展开更多

The paper reports the current condition of species diversity of maize field in Nanning, Guangxi Province. All exper/mcntal materials were collected dur/ng the stages of tasseling, blister, milk, maturity and after reaping respectively from 5 plots from April to July, 2007. The Shannon-Wiener index(H), Simpson index(H'), Brillouin index(J), species evenness(E) and richness index (Dmc) were used into analysis of abundance and distribution characteristics of communities and populations of major arthropods in maize fields. Result showed that a total of 19 arthropods, belonged to 10 orders and 18 families, were obtained from maize fields. Of which there are 12 pest insects, 3 natural enemy insects, 2 spiders and 2 middle insects. All of the community diversity indices were the highest in maize fields after reaping. No significant difference was found between other 4 various stages i.t. tasseling, blister, milk and maturity stages. The results of this study will help to carry out the IPM of maize field pest insect.展开更多
