中药复方是中医辨证论治、处方用药的重要手段之一,其君臣佐使等配伍的独特规律及效用的优越性等已为长年累月的临床实践所证实。尽管多年来人们一直致力于阐明中药复方作用的机理和物质基础,但由于中药所含成分及其配伍效应的复杂性,... 中药复方是中医辨证论治、处方用药的重要手段之一,其君臣佐使等配伍的独特规律及效用的优越性等已为长年累月的临床实践所证实。尽管多年来人们一直致力于阐明中药复方作用的机理和物质基础,但由于中药所含成分及其配伍效应的复杂性,中药复方的研究仍存在很多问题。尤其是成分在复方中的作用地位以及成分间相互作用的研究,目前尚缺少理想的研究方法。本课题组十余年通过对传统名方四逆散的系统研究,从整体到细胞和分子水平、从全方到药对配伍、从单体成分的配伍到成分的特异性剔除等多个角度阐述了四逆散的作用,在此基础上提出并总结了一些研究思路,包括方剂效应的多指标评价、主要成分的分工及与活性的关系、药对配伍与成分配伍相结合、成分配伍与剔除相结合等。特别是中药成分的特异性剔除系本课题组首次尝试,我们成功地从四逆散中分别特异性地剔除了柴胡皂苷、芍药苷、柚皮苷和甘草酸,通过观察剔除前后活性的改变,了解成分在方中承担的角色,为配伍规律和成分间相互作用的研究打下基础,对于其他中药和复方的研究亦具有指导意义。 展开更多

Peridotites from the southern Mariana forearc were sampled on the landward trench slope of the Izu-Bonin-Mariana (IBM) subduction zone by dredging.These mantle wedge peridotites underwent hydration by fluid derived from a dehydrated descending slab,and later interacted with seawater after emplacement at or near the seafloor.This study investigates how these two different rock-fluid interaction processes influenced trace element distribution in the southern Mariana forearc peridotites.We measured trace element concentrations of peridotites from the southern Mariana forearc.The southern Mariana forearc peridotites are characterized by a distinct seawater-like REE pattern with an obvious negative Ce anomaly,and La shows good correlation with other REEs (except Ce).In addition,there is a great enrichment of U,Pb,Sr and Li elements,which show a distinct positive anomaly relative to adjacent elements in the multi-element diagram.For the seawater-like REE pattern,we infer that REEs are mainly influenced by seawater during peridotite-seawater interactions after their emplacement at or near the seafloor,by serpentinization or by marine weathering.Furthermore,the anomalous behavior of Ce,compared with other rare earth elements in these samples,may indicate that they have undergone reactions involving Ce (IV) when the peridotites interacted with seawater.Positive U,Pb,Sr and Li anomalies are inferred to be related to seawater and/or fluids released during dehydration of the subducting slab. 展开更多

Thermal decomposition of 21 kinds of binary mixtures between typical medical compositions was investigated under nitrogen conditions by dynamic thermogravimetric analysis(TGA) at 25–800 °C. The weighed sum method(WSM) coupled with thermal analysis was applied to study the interaction between components. Then, co-pyrolysis kinetic model of the binary mixtures(tube for transfusion(TFT) and gauze) was established to verify the reliability of conclusions. The results show the follows. 1) Strong or weak interactions are shown between binary mixtures containing polyvinyl chloride(PVC), the main ingredient of TFT. The addition of other medical waste could enhance first stage decomposition of TFT. While, the secondary stage pyrolysis may be suppressed or enhanced or not affected by the addition. 2) There exists no interaction between catheter and other component, the DTG peak temperature representing Ca CO3 decomposition in catheter fraction is obviously lower than that of pure catheter; while,the shape of DTG peak keeps unchanged. 3) No evident reaction occurs between the other mix-samples, it is considered that their co-pyrolysis characteristics are linear superposition of mono-component pyrolysis characteristics. 展开更多

This paper aims at showing how rhetoric and meaning in Zambian poetry interact. The work analyses the definition of poetry and gives the understanding that poetry is an artistic use of language that employs figurative language for maximum effect. The work also analyses rhetoric and concludes that the sole aim of rhetoric is to persuade the audience. The use of this rhetoric is later identified as a preoccupation of most poets. After studying a number of rhetorical devices used in poetry, the work has studied selected Zambian poems and focussed on the use of rhyme and alliteration in the poems. It has been shown that there is much use of rhyme but with limited use of alliteration. In both cases, the use is not so much to the contribution to the meaning in the poetry. The poets usually use these devices for the sake of beauty and not meaning. The paper therefore suggests that poets could undergo some formal training in composition while the art is also taught to the young while in their early years in schools. 展开更多

Novel carbon nanohybrids based on unmodified metallofullerenes have been successfully fabricated for use as a new magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) contrast agent. The nanohybrids showed higher R1 relaxivity and better brightening effect than Gd@C82(OH)x, in Tl-weighted MR images in vivo. This is a result of the proton relaxivity from the original gadofullerenes, which retained a perfect carbon cage structure and so might completely avoid the release of Gd^3+ ions. A "secondary spin-electron transfer" relaxation mechanism was proposed to explain how the encaged Gd^3+ ions of carbon nanohybrids interact with the surrounding water molecules. This approach opens new opportunities for developing highly efficient and low toxicity MRI contrast agents. 展开更多

This work describes the gelation behaviors and properties of a biological molecule, guanosine 5′-monophosphate disodium salt(GMP), in the presence of trivalent lanthanide ions. Hydrogels composed of GMP-quadruplexes were prepared by adjusting p H,through which the protonation of phosphate group was controlled to tune the interactions between lanthanide ions and GMP.Within the p H region of 2–6, the electrostatic interaction between lanthanide ions and phosphate group is hindered and the cation-dipole interaction acts as the main driving force for the formation of G-quadruplexes. All the hydrogels were found consisting of three-dimensional network of the intertwining one-dimensional nanofibers formed by the stacking G-quartets induced by lanthanide ions. A significant fluorescence enhancement of thioflavin T(Th T), a fluorescent molecule, was found to be triggered by the G-quadruplex structures, for which the rotation of chromophoric groups on Th T molecules were prohibited due to the implant into the G-quadruplex structures. 展开更多

Intergroup conflicts occupy a special place in the interaction of social groups and of necessity form the basic building blocks for the integration of previously fragmented groups. The Western Niger delta obviously has since been a theatre of socio-political conflicts. Viewed from the contemporary clime, there is a lacuna in the formulation of theories and concepts in understanding and explaining the nature and pattern of intergroup relations in the region from the pre-colonial period. This work therefore attempts an exploratory analysis of some theories and concepts of intergroup relations in the Western Niger Delta of Nigeria using the historical approach with the use of secondary source materials. The paper concludes that the relation among the diverse ethnic groups in Nigeria, especially the Western Niger Delta, may not have been as intense, or as hostile as it has become since the attainment of independence in 1960. This paper no doubt is essential for the understanding and tackling of the problem of intergroup relations and conflict in the region in particular and Nigeria at large. 展开更多
