The Qingshanjiao intermediate acid intrusion of Yanshanian had a direct genetic relationship with mineralization. The magma origin, rock-forming dynamic background and rock-forming process were studied, and the rock-forming mechanism of Qingshanjiao intrusion was discussed, based on geological characteristics, detailed observation of petrography and systematic investigation of petrochemistry, trace elements and REE geochemistry characteristics of Qingshanjiao intrusion. The results show that Qingshanjiao rock body belongs to high-K calc-alkaline series with higher LREE elements, Th, Rb and Sr abundance, but depleted in HREE elements, Ba, Nb and Ta. The primary magma originated from the mantle-crust mixtures which were caused by basaltic magma of mantle mixing with syenite magma of partial melting of the lower crust, and the formation environment of Qingshanjiao intrusion was emplaced in the transitional environment from compression to extension. The Harker diagram and hybrid structures of plagioclase and potassium feldspar indicate that the fractional crystallization occurred in the process of magmatic evolution. The petrochemistry, trace elements and REE geochemistry characteristics indicate that the magma was contaminated by crustal material during the rock-forming. These results suggested that the Qingshanjiao intrusion was formed by fractional crystallization and assimilation and hybridization of mantle-crust magma in the transitional environment from compression to extensional.展开更多

Methods A retrospective analysis was conducted on patients with CAE who underwent coronary angiography between January 2006 and December 2012. According to age, the enrolled patients were divided into two groups (elderly group, age≥ 65 years; non-elderly group, age 〈 65 years). The clinical feature, imaging characteristics and the 5-year survival rate of the two groups were compared. Results The preva-lence of CAE in elderly patients was 0.33%. Patients in elderly group were found to have significantly higher proportion of female (30.1%vs. 10.1%,P〈 0.001), three-vessel disease (60.5%vs. 45.2%,P = 0.003) and localized ectasia (55.0%vs. 40.2%,P = 0.003). In addition, body mass index (20.90 ± 2.71 kg/m2vs. 22.31 ± 2.98 kg/m2,P 〈 0.001) and percentage of current smokers (45.0%vs. 64.6%,P 〈 0.001) were significantly lower in elderly group. Cumulative survival curves demonstrated reduced 5-year cumulative survival at the follow-up in the elderly group compared with the non-elderly group (88.0%vs. 96.0%,P = 0.002). But the 5-year event free survival rate failed to show a significant difference between the two groups (31.0%vs. 35.0%,P= 0.311).ConclusionThe prevalence of CAE in elderly patients was 0.33%, which was about 1/3 of the entire numbers of CAE patients. There were significant differences between the elderly and the non-elderly patients with CAE in terms of coronary artery disease risk factors and coronary artery ectatic characteristics. CAE might be asso-ciated with increased mortality risk in the elderly.展开更多

The results show that the distribution, morphological characteristics, morphogenesis process, and extrusive process of the extrusomes in P. nova are different from the trichocysts in Paramecium, suggesting that the extrusomes of P. nova can respond to environmental stimuli, play an important role in the defense of this species, and cannot be regarded as "trichocysts". The results also suggest that the extrusomes might be originated from the Golgi apparatus and mature in the cytoplasm; after the extrusion of mature extrusomes, the residual substance might be reabsorbed and reused by the ciliate cell via food vacuoles, and take part in material recycling of the cell.展开更多

Nanometallocarbosilanes were synthesized by thermal co-condensation of oligocarbosilanes and alkyl amides of refractory metals. Initial, intermediate and final products of side reactions were characterized by 1H, 13C, 29Si NMR (nuclear magnetic resonance), IR (infra-red) spectroscopy, GPC (gel-penetrating chromatography), TGA (thermal gravimetric analysis), TEM (transmission electron microscopy), SEM (scanning electron microscopy), RES (X-ray phase analysis) and elemental analysis. The proposed synthesis method of nanometallocarbosilanes was lbund to produce fusable soluble organosilicon oligomers with homogeneous distribution of nanoscale (10-20 nm) metal particles in the oligomer matrix. A computational model of the group and elemental composition of nanometallocarbosilanes was developed; it was shown that they are molecular globules of near-spherical shape and rigid polycyclic structure. Thermochemical treatment of nanometallocarbosilanes leads to SiC-nanoceramics (a high yield of up to 75-80 mass%) modified by metal nanoparticles (20-30 nm) contributing to its stabilization. The application of preceramic oxygen-free nanometallocarbosilanes will make it possible to advance in solving the problem of ceramic composite materials with long-term resistance at temperatures above 1,500 ℃ in oxidizing environments.展开更多

Dumbbell-shaped bis(thienyl 3-ethynyl quinoxalines) are also accessible by the Suzuki protocol. The photophysical properties were investigated by UV and fluorescence spectroscopy. Most of the obtained compounds display fluorescence in solution and some of them also in the solid state. Additionally, tuning of the emission color of the quinoxaline based chromophores can be conveniently accomplished by the remote substituent group. The determined absorption and emission maximum as well as the Stokes shifts strongly correlate with Hammett σp+parameters. Besides, photophysical properties of selected derivatives in the solid state, biphasic solutions, and PMMA films, along with their relationships, are comparatively investigated. Moreover, two 5-(hetero)aryl-thien-2-yl substituted 3-ethynyl quinoxaline dyes are aggregation induced emission(AIE) chromophores indicated by restriction of molecular motions. A covalently restricted 3-ethynyl quinoxaline supports that the inhibition of molecular rotation is responsible for the significant enhancement of fluorescence in acetonitrile/water mixtures.展开更多
