In the first half of 2011, Yunnan Province estabIished creativeIy the strategy of ＆quot;protecting farmIand in fIat-Iand areas and constructing mountalnous cities＆quot; （hereinafter referred to as the strat-egy of ＆quot;constructing mountalnous cities＆quot;）, which was almed at protecting effectiveIy the Iimited and high quality arabIe Iand resources in fIatIand area and providing new construction area for new type of urbanization and industrialization, so as to achieve win-win situation between arabIe Iand protection and urbanization deveIopment. Im-pIementing this strategy in Yunnan Province is feasibIe, malnIy in the Iarge deveIop-ment potentials in the gentIe gradient between 8° to 25°. The gentIe sIope area be-tween 8° to 25° occupies 51% of the total Iand area in Yunnan Province, which is almost 140 times of the area of urban construction Iand in Yunnan in 2009. This researcher found out that e-commerce brings about a new experience for both consumers and marketing practitioners as both groups try to achieve their different goals that end in an online relationship between the duo. This posses a lot of challenges for marketers who have to adapt and modify their offline marketing strategies to suite and meet the demands of e-commerce bringing about the whole concept and execution of e-marketing. The issue of the benefits as well as trust for online transactions based on the fear of insecurity from the consumers＇ perspective was also discussed. We choose the Shanghai listed companies that adopted a diversification strategy in 2011 but realized a declined performance in 2012 as the study samples, and come to the following conclusions： （1） The macro environment will affect the implementation of the diversification strategy for some industries, such as extractive industry, wood furniture industry, rubber industry, and the building industry; （2） As to the sample of downward performance diversified companies, the shareholders＇ benefits transfer motivation is an important consideration. Further analysis shows that there are some differences in the degree of diversification, benefits transfer motivation, and the degree of income impairment when the sample is classified by corporate nature, growth stage, and firm size. The differences are more obvious in different corporate natures; and （3） A clear correlation between the management ability and the degree of income impairment is not found. But there are some correlations between ownership concentration and the degree of income impairment.展开更多

There are some blogs which were created by Georgian bloggers. They were trying to express civil activities, wanted to be involved in information war and provide information to western online space. The author of this paper reviews these online recourses. She is trying to study what kind of publications people could come ＂across, which one dominated-- materials based on information or on personal feelings, how frequently the blogs were renewed, how many readers visited these websites and etc. The purpose of the research is to find out how effective working with these groups was; whether the world leader TV or newspaper agencies used these alternative media publications and photos as the source of information or not. From the very beginning of the war several groups were formed in Facebook which is the unconditional leader in the social networks. The aim of these groups was to protect Georgia from Russian aggression. Most of these groups united Georgia＇s supporters but people also met supporters of Russia and Ossetia. These are open groups of interactive type where anybody and not only by the registered members could participate. The members, besides leaving comments and taking part in discussions, could also upload photos and videos. Consequently, we came across shots describing Russian aggression as well as facts of bombing Ossetia by the Georgian side.展开更多

China＇s economic strategy, in particular Chinese maritime policy, shows a high tendency of urging to develop China＇s strategic shipping, which aims to safeguard China＇s national interest. This paper explores the approach of balancing China＇s maritime interests safeguarding and the compliance of international maritime regulations by examining three dimension of strategic shipping capacity which includes shipping, port and lane. In addition, this paper creatively proposes the idea of merchant ships and ports for military application and gives some advice about the implementation measures and legal system of mechanism safeguarding.展开更多
