Identification of the epitope regions of the virus is important for the diagnosis and epidemiological studies of CCHFV infections.In this study,expression vectors carrying series truncated fragments of the NP(nucleocapsid protein)gene from the S fragment of CCHFV strain YL04057 were constructed.The recombinant proteins were expressed in E.coli and purified for detection.The antigenic of the truncated fragments of NP was detected with a polyclonal serum(rabbit)and 2 monoclonal(mAbs)(14B7 and 43E5)against CCHFV by Western-blot analyses. The results showed that the three expressed constructs,which all contained the region 235AA to 305AA could be detected by mAbs polyclonal serum.The results suggest that region 235-305 aa of NP is a highly antigenic region and is highly conserved in the NP protein.展开更多
In this work, we revised the expression of mixing intensity to describe the mixing output through a cross section in a flow system by considering heterogeneity of flow field, and carefully investigated the mixing proc...In this work, we revised the expression of mixing intensity to describe the mixing output through a cross section in a flow system by considering heterogeneity of flow field, and carefully investigated the mixing process along a straight tube with expanding/contracting cross section by simulation method. The simulation results show that a sudden expansion of cross section has remarkable mixing intensification effect within a limited period(on the sub-second scale) or tube-length(on the millimeter scale), corresponding to the generation of considerable local vortices determined by both the flow capacity and the ratio of cross section change; a sudden contraction of cross section has instantaneous but weak mixing intensification effect; through introducing a local expansion structure with proper length, as the combination of sudden expansion and sudden contraction, their mixing intensification effects could be superposed. Besides, the rationality and importance are experimentally verified to explore the time profile of mixing intensity and carry out the vortex analysis by simulation for enhancing the selectivity of a complicated reaction system. These progresses may lead to more meaningful quantitative description of mixing process in a flow microreactor for some specific chemical processes.展开更多
Single-crystalline Li-doped Co3O4 truncated octahedra with different doping contents were synthesized by a simple combustion method with the fuel of multi-walled carbon nanotubes(MWCNTs).Controlled experiments showed ...Single-crystalline Li-doped Co3O4 truncated octahedra with different doping contents were synthesized by a simple combustion method with the fuel of multi-walled carbon nanotubes(MWCNTs).Controlled experiments showed that the pristine well-defined Co3O4 octahedra were obtained with exposed surfaces of {111} planes without lithium doping.In comparison with the octahedra,the truncated Co3O4 octahedra were composed of original {111} planes and extra {100} planes.It could be attributable to the selective adsorption of lithium ions on the {100} planes,making these planes with higher surface energy coexist with the crystal faces of {111}.Furthermore,the Li-doped truncated octahedra and undoped octahedra were used as catalysts in CO oxidation and as anode materials for Li-ion batteries(LIBs).The measurements exhibited that the Li-doped octahedra with added {100} crystal faces showed improved catalytic activity and electrochemical property because of the exposure of the higher energy faces of {100} and enhanced conductivity by Li doping.展开更多
