Two verifying experiments on Phantom Desktop and Micro Hand S were conducted. Experimental results show that the operation effect at the optimal relative location is better than that at the random location, which means that the optimal function constructed in this paper is effective in optimizing the operation comfortability.展开更多

Over the past few years the number of aortic valve replacement （AVR） interventions has increased with outcomes that have been improved despite increasing age of patients and increasing bur- den of comorbidities. However, despite such excellent results and its well-established position, conventional AVR has undergone great de- velopment over the previous two decades. Such progress, by way of less irtvasive incisions and use of new technologies, including tran- scatheter aortic valve implantation and sutureless valve prostheses, is intended to reduce the traumatic impact of the surgical procedure, thus fulfilling lower risk patients＇ expectations on the one hand, and extending the operability toward increasingly high-risk patients on the other. Sutureless and rapid deployment aortic valves are biological, pericardial prostheses that anchor within the aortic annulus with no more than three sutures. The sutureless prostheses, by avoiding the passage and the tying of the sutures, significantly reduce operative times and may improve outcomes. However, there is still a paucity of robust, evidence-based data on the role and performance of sutureless AVR. Therefore, strongest long-term data, randomized studies and registry data are required to adequately assess the durability and long-term outcomes of sutureless aortic valve replacement.展开更多
Objective:This study aimed to describe the implementation of the surgical safety check policy and the surgical safety checklist for invasive procedures outside the operating room(OR)and evaluate its effectiveness.Meth...Objective:This study aimed to describe the implementation of the surgical safety check policy and the surgical safety checklist for invasive procedures outside the operating room(OR)and evaluate its effectiveness.Methods:In 2017,to improve the safety of patients who underwent invasive procedures outside of the OR,the hospital quality and safety committee established the surgery safety check committee responsible for developing a new working plan,revise the surgery safety check policy,surgery safety check Keywords:Invasive procedures outside the operating room Safety management Surgical safety checklist Patient safety form,and provide training to the related staff,evaluated their competency,and implemented the updated surgical safety check policy and checklist.The study compared the data of pre-implementation(Apr to Sep 2017)and two post-implementation phases(Apr to Sep 2018,Apr to Sep 2019).It also evaluated the number of completed surgery safety checklist,correct signature,and correct timing of signature.Results:The results showed an increase in the completion rate of the safety checklist after the program implementation from 41.7%(521/1,249)to 90.4%(3,572/3,950),the correct rates of signature from 41.9%(218/521)to 99.0%(4,423/4,465),and the correct timing rates of signature from 34.4%(179/521)to 98.5%(4,401/4,465),with statistical significance(P<0.01).Conclusion:Implementing the updated surgery safety check significantly is a necessary and effective measure to ensure patient safety for those who underwent invasive procedures outside the OR.Implementing surgical safety checks roused up the clinical staff's compliance in performing safety checks,and enhanced team collaboration and communication.展开更多

Based on Couldry＇s f...In China, all types of stars coexist in the country＇s star system： party stars, commercialized stars, and talent-show stars, which influence diverse type audience and have diverse implications. Based on Couldry＇s framework （2000） of media power, through in-depth interviews with media professionals, this study compares the creation of party stars, commercial stars, and talent-show stars as represented by Li Yuchun. Data show that there was few audience power involved into the production of party stars and commercialized stars. Rather, there was media power involved into the production of party stars and commercialized stars. Meanwhile, this study argues that there was audience-power influence on Li Yuchun＇s rise to stardom, and it provides some details about the manipulations of media institutions that were involved in the creation of this pop star. However, it is difficult to prove that audience power is the main influence on Li＇s stardom. The implications of her stardom and this production process on China＇s star system and China＇s state power are also discussed in this study.展开更多
