Only one matrix, termed drive Jacobian, was needed in the modeling of interaction between hydraulic circuit and flexible manipulator mechanism. Furthermore, a new robust controller based on mentioned above dynamic model was also considered to regulate both flexural vibrations and rigid body motion. The proposed controller combined sliding mode and backstepping techniques to deal with the nonlinear system with uncertainties. The sliding mode control was used to achieve an asymptotic joint angle and vibration regulation by providing a virtual force while the backstepping technique was used to regulate the spool position of a hydraulic valve to provide the required control force. Simulation results are presented to show the stabilizing effect and robustness of this control strategy.展开更多

Fi...Laser-assisted machining has been considered as a new alternative machining method of difficult-to-cut materials. A laser module with one-axis manipulator is developed to focus on preheating laser beam effectively. First of all, the thermal characteristic analysis was performed to verify the importance of laser module location. Laser module should be moved within 1 mm. Analysis conditions of three positions in driving range of the one-axis manipulator are selected. And a C coupling is used as a connection device for spindle and laser module. An initial model has one C coupling, and the number of C coupling has been increased from 1 to 2 in an improved model. And the analysis is carried out again for the one-axis manipulator. The results of the static analysis, the maximum displacement and the maximum stress are decreased by 22% and 11%, respectively, for the improved model when the laser module is located at farthest away from the spindle unit. As a result of the modal analysis, the first natural frequency mode is increased by 13%, 18% and 12% at these positions of the improved model, respectively. The harmonic analysis of the improved model was performed by analyzing the results of the modal analysis. The maximum deformation was 0.33 mm in driving unit at 222 Hz. And the maximum compliance of the ISO axis direction was 0.23 mm/N. Finally, the one-axis manipulator has been fabricated successfully using the analysis result.展开更多

We design a detection engine ...Mobile malware is rapidly increasing and its detection has become a critical issue. In this study, we summarize the common characteristics of this inalicious software on Android platform. We design a detection engine consisting of six parts: decompile, grammar parsing, control flow and data flow analysis, safety analysis, and comprehensive evaluation. In the comprehensive evaluation, we obtain a weight vector of 29 evaluation indexes using the analytic hierarchy process. During this process, the detection engine exports a list of suspicious API. On the basis of this list, the evaluation part of the engine performs a compre- hensive evaluation of the hazard assessment of software sample. Finally, hazard classification is given for the software. The false positive rate of our approach for detecting rnalware samples is 4. 7% and normal samples is 7.6%. The experimental results show that the accuracy rate of our approach is almost similar to the method based on virus signatures. Compared with the method based on virus signatures, our approach performs well in detecting unknown malware. This approach is promising for the application of malware detection.展开更多

Based on negative selection algorithm, the mature detectors are generated. By introducing clonal selection algorithm, the detectors with higher affinity are selected to undergo a proliferation and somatic hyper-mutation process, so that more excellent detector offspring can be generated. Experimental result shows that the detection model has a higher detection rate for unknown smartphone malware, and better detection performance can be achieved by increasing the clone generation.展开更多

This algorithm can optimize the camera model by dynamic balan...The multi-objective genetic algorithm(MOGA) is proposed to calibrate the non-linear camera model of a space manipulator to improve its locational accuracy. This algorithm can optimize the camera model by dynamic balancing its model weight and multi-parametric distributions to the required accuracy. A novel measuring instrument of space manipulator is designed to orbital simulative motion and locational accuracy test. The camera system of space manipulator, calibrated by MOGA algorithm, is used to locational accuracy test in this measuring instrument. The experimental result shows that the absolute errors are [0.07, 1.75] mm for MOGA calibrating model, [2.88, 5.95] mm for MN method, and [1.19, 4.83] mm for LM method. Besides, the composite errors both of LM method and MN method are approximately seven times higher that of MOGA calibrating model. It is suggested that the MOGA calibrating model is superior both to LM method and MN method.展开更多

Smartphones are very suitable to be used as an experimental tool, because smartphones are usually equipped with various types of sensors. This paper proposes a model observation vehicle speed on a road section based on the GPS data on the smartphone. Observations made by calculating the speed of the speed of vehicles moving through the data transfer at the GPS location of the smartphone, the data are then sent periodically to the server and server processing and storage of vehicle speed data. After tested with test reliability indicators use RMSE, observations with model observations speed, speed based on GPS data on a smartphone are relevant when compared with the speed directly from the vehicle's speedometer with the difference between the value of the difference of speed that is 3.1785 km/h.展开更多

This experiment is a time consuming process for both real-life tests and ship model experiments. The difficulty is mainly due to a bias in the measurement of heel angle. Nowadays, digital inclinometers are available, but they are expensive. In this study, the use of a smartphone application is presented for ship inclination and rolling-period tests. The idea consists of using accelerometer and gyroscope sensors built into the current smartphones for the measurements. Therefore, some experiments are carried out on an example trawler model to exhibit the uses and advantages of this method. The obtained results are in good agreement with those provided from the pendulum method and natural roll-period test. This application is new, easy, and more accurately assesses metacentric height during the inclining and rolling-period tests.展开更多
